Intec 7.2 inch Xbox lcd screen $30 at TRU

I know there is a decicate TRU thread, but I open a separate one so people could see this.
feel free to move this into the TRU thread.

it is 7.2 inch widescreen, not the 5 inch one.
however, the intec brand will garantee that this sucks.
I picked one up anyways, since the price is about right.

but in my general experiences, anything marketed by Intec is a joke.

I got the Intec Gamecube one and I'm about to take it back right now, so take that for what its worth.

the Zenith for GameCube is probably better, I have 2 from the BB clearance.

I used the screen to create my own 'portable cube.'

the Xbox being such a powerhouse, running it on an Intec screen is a disservice.

I am about to try this out, but I think TRU will not allow you to return if you open any game-related stuff.

I'm not sure. I'm actually going to have to return mine tomorrow since I have to go to work soon, but once I do I'll tell you what happened. If I can just get store credit I'll be happy. I doubt they'll give cash back.

I did a review of the GameCube one on my blog. In short, it sucks. The only saving grace is that it will accept other video inputs, so I modified it a bit and hooked it up to our treadmill so that we can watch iPod videos on a bigger (if much crappier) screen.

yes, the Zenith screen is 5 inches; however, not all of it is viewable/used, there's a small black border around it.

no, there's no s-video input. I wished.

I see. then it is similar to the sony psone screen, which I have quite a few at home.
The psone screen quality is unbeatable imo
However, this intec junk is bigger and wide. just $30 anyway.
