Internet Radio on PSP. Anyone else tried it?
I've been meaning to try it out. How many stations can you get?
It's hard to say because each channel has a lot to choose from.

I tried it out once. I laughed when the 1st song that played was the Ghost Busters theme. It seems like it worked pretty well.

Works well for me too. I tried it one night before going to bed. I would use it a lot more if I had an access point at work.

I just got it to work at work. I work nights in a hospital and found they had an guest access point I can use. I love it so far. Anyone know what the drain to the battery is?

I'm not sure about the drain. Internet radio got me by during my time in Chicago the last few days. It's nice to type on a real freaking keyboard now.

It's pretty good. Huge assortment of stations :) What would be nice, is if it was required by your isp to use one of their wifi receiver/transmitters, provided by them, at a discount on your monthly bill... to keep an open wifi network up in your area. Like a little, server, protected by them, in your house, at no cost, to keep the internets free :D

Can you download both players, or do you have to choose?

Never mind, you can do both

What do you guys and gals prefer to use? I can't really find anything that tells me anything about the players I have to install. The 1st and 2nd players seem to genrally be the same, but the rest I am unsure of. Is there a better 1?

I think I saw figures in the eight to ten hour range on a site. If I can find it again I will edit and post the link. It was a six page article where they tested the battery life under different activities. Keep in mind that if you hold down the display button, you can shut off the screen.

I like it a lot. Some of the videogame music channels are great. My only complaint is that you can't multitask with it. I'd love to be able to play Echochrome while listening to the radio.

Since the update it came out? NO

I don't really like the stations, and it wastes battery life when I have an actual radio beside me...or in my car...

It's nice I suppose. If I really want to listen to WiFi radio though I'd just as soon buy one of those standalone's from C.Crane that's about or a little over $200.
ChiefsFan the reason why people might be using it is they aren't satisfied with the content that are you piping out of standard radio. I like my Satellite radio but even I have issues with it as I expected I'd get Korean and Japanese Pop offered as well as WORLD Pop. Finding all 3 woefully absent imo the only option left is WiFi radio which ACTUALLY offers all 3.
