How's Pinball HD (now 99 cents)?
It's ok. Slayer Pinball is better. Made by the same developers.
Super Monkey Ball 2: Sakura edition is $3.99. Any opinions on this?

Looks great but I don't like the accelerometer controls (makes me motion sick). I wish they had included virtual analog sticks so that it could control like the console versions.
zombie infection hd by gameloft is .99 from 6.99...its a re5 cloan
Thanks. I picked up the iPhone version went it dropped to $.99 two days ago thinking that they wouldn't drop the iPad price as well, but Gameloft surprises me again.

-Edit-
The HD version looks so much nicer on the iPad, well worth the double dip.

Awesome game. Bought it at $2.99 when I got my iPad and never regretted it.

Super monkey ball for iPad is good, but I rarely play it. Bought a few months back at the $5-$6 price point and the mini games are good, but the regular game was nothing special.

Pinball HD for 99 cents great deal, I have been waiting on this one.

Zombie infection is well worth the 99 cents. It controls a lot better than other gameloft shooters. Played it for the last hour. I had given up on these types of games on the iPad, but this one is great.

Predators, which is a universal app went to 99 cents yesterday. There is a lite version to try, but it is a very solid hack and slash game, great for pick up and play.

Backbreaker is free today for both iPad and iPhone. Does not seem to be a full football game like madden; more like a running back drill, but still pretty good for free.

Strange no 99 cent game loft game they were going on at least four weeks in a row with 99 cent games for the weekend.

Looks like Madden dropped to $10 on the iPad today (and $5 on iPhone). I'm a little tempted but it seems pretty lame that it still doesn't have the promised multiplayer and vintage mode.

Also Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars has hit the iPad for $10. There is still some debate on the toucharcade forums however as to if it has the dynamic lighting and shadows from the PSP version of the game. (Though just from the screen shots it seems to look much better than the DS)

Geared is very good, it gets pretty hard later in the game. Not a huge deal in that it is not on sale, but Slice It is a solid puzzle game and is universal for 99 cents.
Anybody else have trouble downloading epic citadel demo, it keeps failing for me.
Try updating your iPad, I was having this same issue.

Vector Tanks Extreme is awesome on the iPhone. So a worthy pickup for sure for the iPad. the non-Extreme version is also excellent while being different enough in style to warrant a separate purchase. I don't have an iPad, yet, but knowing that these (at least Extreme) are getting a free iPad HD update makes an eventual purchase all the more inevitable. Once Carcassonne and Reiner Knizia's Samurai get their promised iPad updates, it's going to be near impossible to resist....
Not that it's necessarily a sale, as it just launched at free, but VLC Media Player is now out on the iPad for all of your media needs. Haven't tried it yet personally, so not sure how well they have all the different codecs integrated, but free's free.

Wow, that's awesome! Does it still support MPEG2? Problem being you'd have to have a way to transfer video into it, and I don't know if the iOS hardware could handle high bit rate MPEG2...

Anyone have any recommendations for free games? I'm using the apple card I got with it to buy apps for my photography, but I'd love to try some free games for my new iPad. :D
Robot Unicorn Attack now has an HD version. It's on sale for .99.
Best use of licensed music since GTA Vice City. Glad I waited on the iPad version.

tilt to live hd is releasing tonight for free with paid dlc, i think it costs 3.99 for the entire game. Cut the Rope HD also releases tonight for 1.99-the iphone version of this game is awesome, almost as good as angry birds.

some decent games are on sale right now:

bit.trip.beat hd: .99 from 6.99
Yahtzee HD: 1.99 from 4.99
A Witch's Curse: Princess Isabella Hd: .99 from 6.99
The Stone of Destiny Hd: .99 from 3.99
Great Adventures: 2.99 from 4.99
Mishap: 1.99
Return to Mysterious Island for ipad: .99 from 9.99

Bit.trip.bit HD had been $3.99, can't believe it dropped to 99 cents. These quick price drops are great if you haven't bought the game but suck if you spent four times the current price three days ago.

Osmos for iPad on sale for $1.99 (originally $4.99):
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/osmos-for-ipad/id379323382?mt=8

Already bought the iPhone version for $.99 a short while ago, otherwise I would have jumped on the iPad version. The touch controls work great for Osmos, I like it better than on pc.

-Update-
Deal seems dead. I ended up picking up the iPad version as well and, except for slightly better graphics, it is identical to the iPhone version. So no need to double dip, and if you don't have either just get the one which is cheaper (usually iPhone).

Osmos is great on the iPad. I payed the $5 for it and it was well worth the full price. If you like physics based puzzle games, it's a no-brainer at $2.

Some EA iPad sales:
Command & Conquer Red Alert - $4.99 (down from $9.99, I think): http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id363317738
Boggle - $0.99 (down from $1.99 last time I checked): http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/boggle-for-ipad/id372095432?mt=8

Read reviews on Red Alert before buying, there seems to be some bugs (I don't have it so I can't vouch either way). Good price on Boggle, but personally I prefer Wurdle (iPhone only, but plays fine on iPad at 2x) since it offers board sizes greater than 4x4 (I guess EA never played Boggle Master) and the dictionary in Boggle is supposedly not so great.
