Hey guys I'm picking up the list where Feldbum left off........I took off the guy from the top of the old list and added mine to the top (He already got his 5). I also added the other guys to the list from the old thread that didn't get added. I think that's fair as I am willing to keep editing this post for you guys. I'm adding everyone back from the old list that might not have gotten their refferals due to the thread being locked. C'mon guys let's keep this thing going. Everybody can get free ipods it's not that hard. I already scored one on Freeslide. Here are the instruction's from Feldbum on how this process works (with edits from me):

Congratulations to everyone who got something from Freeslide. Thanks for the friendly emails and PMs.

If you didn't get all your offers done before FS changed their rules, I found a better method of getting the mini or a 15G iPod or a $250 iTunes GC. A lot of other forums have been succesful in these conga lines, and unlike Freeslide, Freeipods.com actually encourages it!

They even recommend using forums to get referrals!

Here's how the Conga works. I'll post my referral link at the top of the list. When anyone signs up under me, post your referral link, and I'll add it under mine in the list. When I get 5, I'll remove mine from the top of the list, and everyone else's will move up. Since you only need to complete one offer and points credit quickly, the line should move pretty fast, rarely with more than 6 links in it. I'll try to update once a day at 8-9 P.M. (except weekends, when I'll update when I can).

When you post your referral link, make sure that you include
1) The offer that you completed
2) The link you signed up underneath
3) Your own personal link (so I can add it to the list)
4) Your email address (so we can verify you actually signed up under the person you claim.

IF YOU DONT FOLLOW THESE 4 RULES YOU WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE LIST!!

As for offers, I would suggest Ancestry.com if you haven't already used that for something else (but I bet most of us have), with must be cancelled in 14 days but only costs $1.
The wrinkle cream sample costs $6.95 but must be RETURNED within 14 days (the sample) or you will be charged.
Video Professor is also $6.95 and everything but the one video you get to keep must be returned or you get charged.
I like to use "Return to Sender" for these type of things.

*NEW RULE: If you have already signed an account for freeipods.com you cannot be a part of this conga. It just makes the list way too long and we can't add your name to it. Sorry :whistle2:(

WARNING! I just heard that the site has problems with Hotmail accounts. If you used a Hotmail account, I would switch it to another free email account from the Update Account Info screen.

ALSO NOTE: When you sign up.......do not use the refferal ID from the bottom of this thread, but instead use this actual list below, I will be updating it frequently. Use the 1st ID below. ***The only way this will work is if you actually sign up and complete the offer. Good Luck!

help! okay so i did the ebay thing, when i bid, it said i was outbid, do i still get my credit??
 
Hey if you guys want me to write a quick PHP script for this I can do so..it can be auto-updating, other than people signing after the 5 referrals are earned.

If anyone wants this let me know :D

I read that if you are outbid immediately, you actually don't. -> http://freeipodguide.com/

IMPORTANT: According to THIS THREAD, you must place a bid that makes you the high bidder. If you bid on an item and are immediately outbid (this happens when the bidder before you placed a higher bid), you MAY NOT get order credit! Play it safe and make sure you are the high bidder, even if it is just for a few minutes!

okay, so i waited till the next day, and it did give me credit, even if i was outbid automatically! so if anyone else is wondering...there you go...can't wait!! :D
 
I had a problem for a few minutes. I had to restart my computer anyway & when I tried again it was working. It's probably just temporary.

cool beans for you. I still haven't gotten my credit for joining ebay, and I also have not gotten the credit for two people signing up through my link! one person shows as "not completed" and the other doesn't show up at all!

the not at all would be zaptone who signed up through my link. can I email them and tell them to give me my damn credit? or should I wait and see?

ebay, takes about a day to give credit, so yours should come tommorow, also i'm not entirely sure about some referrals, because same thing about me, not showing up.
 
This is a reminder: If you want your links added you must follow all three rules that are posted at the beginning of this thread. Nobody will be added that has already signed up for this offer except those that have participated in Felbum's old list. If you signed up already properly. Edit your old post with your ref id so I know where you should be placed at.
 
Just received notification last night that my refferals were approved. It seems that freeipods only puts accounts on hold that use the same address twice. I am going to order mine tonight after work. This really works guys keep it up...
 
You know, I wish that the people who stop in here to post negative stuff, would just not bother to even come into this discussion. No one is forcing them to read this post so they should just stay out. I was hesitant about this at the beginning but I did not talk down to the people who were doing it. And I have seen actual proof that this does work. So I wish that they would show the same respect.

And one more thing, I am #3 in the list so people need to start showing #1 & 2 some love so I can move up. :)

quick, question....if i am already a member at freeipods, do i just log in as existing member when i click a referral link?
 
Please, if you click my link COMPLETE AN OFFER! I swear, I have 19! people signed up, yet none have completed an offer. All of them are, likely, people from teamxbox.com's forums, as I have my referral link in my sig there. Few days later, I get all sorts of referrals, but NOT A SINGLE ONE completed an offer. :evil: :roll:

So far, 19 pending, and 2 completed(my mother and sister signed up...and actually completed an offer to help me out).

Again, if you click my referral, or anyone's for that matter, do us all a favor and complete and offer. :D Oh, dj, please make a note to the side of mine, or an over all note, that in order to get your name on the list, you must complete an offer.
 
Ahhh i goin crazy. I can't do a offer. The ebay one wants to to create a sellers account. I have a normal one but don't one another one. Can't do AOL sign up because it ask you to put in a credit card.....when it the offer popup thing says no credit card requeird..........it's making me mad. Also when you do the ebay thing does the link of the website stay under freeipods.com because mine does when i do it and bid on an item but i get no credit. I need help :cry:
 
You need to clear all your cookies and cache. If you have ZoneAlarm Pro it would help to clear tracking cookies also. After that you shouldn't get the sellers account screen but a normal "Sign Up" screen.

I think with the AOL offer you can use a checking account number instead of credit card.
 
i deleted all the cookies and stuff and i still get the stupid sell your item log in. this isn't fair :cry: it only brings me to that screen.
 
I got my five referrals. It says i need to wait 2 business days to confirm the referrals, which sucks on a friday. Means i have to wait until tuesday....
