he woud have. nothing wrong with talking about weed, however with constant piracy and game theft related issues on a GAMING website can draw alot of unwanted attention that im sure he dosnt want. otherwise the threads would be overloaded with games and movies to d/l. and i havnt seen a stickied thread about cheapy and his buds anywhere. if im missing that thread please point me to it as im sure it would be entertaining.

Like many other deals it's just an exploit... or the dreaded gray area.

They are fighting it though, look at the avatar clothes and the EA DLC tied to your GT.

I don't see it being likely to happen to XBLA games as they don't want to hear complaints about 4 GTs on one box paying 4 times

I don't think it's illegal. MS might not like it, but that doesn't necessarily make it illegal. And MS probably wouldn't be able to 100% know that you were doing it, so I don't think they would take any action against particular accounts.

definitely just a grey area. Its using the DRM to your advantage by binding the content to your gamertag and a buddies console. Obviously your friend is screwed when his console RROD.

M$ isn't going to ban you. If they do ban you for some other reason they dont give you a warning. Experienced that first hand.

Why would it be illegal? It's not like you're going around the neighborhood offering this for sale as a service?
I have two consoles, and it helps to be able to use this to have my content available wherever I want. I'm not even sharing it with anyone...just myself.

Gamesharing is actually promoted by Sony. This "exploit" falls into the gray area, but it seems that Microsoft can't do anything about it.
