Is this fad common to Los Angeles or all over the US?

Here is Los Angeles there is a good percentage of guys who seemingly 'wax' their eye brows. Their eyebrows look thin and a bit too short, giving their face a strange apearance.

Is this common to all parts of the country?

I get rid of my unibrow with a razor but using wax is out of control.

I think this is a growing trend for guys. Some of my friends get it done when they go to get a hair cut, but I usually just use a razor.

Actually, that fad is a few years behind. I remember as one of a handful of asian kids (20 yrs ago) in a puerto rican neighborhood that my neighbors were doing it back then so it's nothing new. I'd say it's not a bad thing and shouldn't be knocked especially for my uni-browed brethren.

I go to a university (Long Beach) in Los Angeles and I can't say I've noticed this, but I'm gonna have to look now. I wouldn't be surprised though.
