[quote name='BGPu']The Wii has Zelda and.... what?
Wii has the momentum now, but it's also looking like it's headed right into a game draught of Gamecube proportions. Too many of the games are ports. Too many games are party games that get old quickly if you don't have 3 or 4 people to play with. Nintendo clearly doesn't know what they're doing online yet. Virtual Console titles can only string people along so much.

This year alone supposedly has these game in store for us:
Wii Play
Wario Ware
Mario Party
Mario Galaxy
Metroid
Pokemon
Super Smash Bros
Hardly the drought the gamecube had. You also aren't factoring in the hardware. Since the Wii is basically a Gamecube, development times will be much shorter.
As always though, it comes down to third parties.

Look at freaking Ipods, they're overpriced mp3 players, yet everyone has to have one. Look at christina agulera, she's a mildly talented vessel with a great voice but would be nothing without her slut-girl gimmick.

Different topic, but Aguilera has one of the most powerful and talented voices out there. I not a fan, but you can't deny that. It is a shame she wastes it on the pop tart music she releases. She's way more talented than that.
