Is this too graphic to be a sig?

Personally, I find it too graphic for a public forum, and offensive. It's the sort of stuff that would obligate me to keep my children from visiting the site. And something that's likely to cause me to visit much less often. As it is, I'm turning of sigs because I simply don't want anyone to see that kind of crap over my shoulder. I feel like I'm visiting a smut site sometimes. Not that there is anything wrong with smut, or graphic depictions of violence (I'm not saying it's right, either... that's another topic), but it's certainly not what I come here for.
 
I don't find it offensive. I find it quite troubling though... you want to go around slitting people's throats? It doesn't say a lot about your personal character. When I see it, I think to myself. "This dude is not very mature and he's quite gross."

Oh well.. this is all coming from someone that lacks an avatar and a sig.
 
Just you having to ask should give you some indication. I personally think its not the best considering the recent news and all.

as for the people that said "if you have to ask, it is" i OBVIOUSLY know its a graphic picture. there no questioning that. even tho the throat is from a costume make up kit, theres no way to tell with the way i belw the contrast out. i was asking if it was too graphic for people to deal with.

i dont care if people "dont like it" because theres a TON of avatars and sigs that i dont like, you just deal with it, its who that person is...but i was asking rather if it honestly and truley was too graphic and offensive for people.

i mean a sig someone dosent like is one thing, but if someone had DLF's man-boobies as their sig, i wouldnt be able to handle that. so in the same vein ^^
 
I personally don't want to have to see it everytime you post. I watched one of those beheadings (big mistake). Now, everytime I see or hear something like that, I'm immediatley taken back to that video.

I won't say that you can't use it, but it's just not P.C. right now.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that there were 1 or 2 a couple of weeks ago. I'm pretty sure they were Iraqi people this time.
 
I'm going to say yes. There are ways around it, I could always turn off sigs...but I'd rather not.

I'd be more concerned about the others on the site. Some of them are younger and I'm sure they can handle it but some might be grossed out by it.

more seriously, just use it. if it makes some people sad, then oh well. actually, i'm way more offended by the person with the anime picture of some girl grabbing another girl's rack. it creeps me out.

so go ahead and post pictures of yourself with aria giovanni, where, i might add, you look really sweaty and kind of uncomfortable, almost like you just met her or something. do you always walk around with a pass of some sort on your belt? that's not exactly how friends stand, but whatever. i won't question anything, becuase i'm sure you didn't just meet her at some sort of event or anything. i just appreciate that you can find the time in your glamorous life to come here and tell me all about it.

and, just in case anyone was confused, i was just teasing mr. punqsux about brand new. moreso, i'm sure he didn't take it personally (unlike some other people around here).

yea the street fighter one, to bad im totally against straight edging, but i wont hold it against em, when you get the time punxsuq go check out www.nothingnice.com and read the life of a straight edger comic, its quite good

than after about a week i came across the sf pic and just has to add the part about drugs, because it just felt like a very positive picture

1. interesting that the second picture that you posted is still essentially the same as the first, which proves nothing.

2. for someone who is supposed to be exciting and/or really cool, you totally need to get a life.

even if you are telling the truth (which i don't honestly believe), it doesn't matter, and i'm not really sure why you think it does. i mean, can you really be that cool if you are on here bragging about being in some crappy band or bragging about who you may (or may not) be friends with? that's not very cool, it's not very rock and roll to be name dropping on a video game message board. in fact, if you really are telling the truth, you should probably be embarassed. my suggestion to you is that you stop making these silly posts and get over yourself.

i bolded that paragraph because i think you may have missed it.

i could go on, and point out that the picture of you where you are giving the camera the finger (which is about as rebellious and punk rock as ashley simpson) is not from the same day as the pictures you posted with the aria girl, because you have on different clothes and your hair is different, but that's not really necessary, is it?

although i'm tempted to go further and say some more about you or your band, i won't bother, because it doesn't matter. all i will say is that you need to worry less about what people think of you, less about trying to impress people with who you know or what band you're in, and worry more about rock and roll, because that's what it should be about.
