I've been playing online games for the ps2 and it sucked.Since I just bought an xbox I'm really thinking about getting xbox live.I just wanted to know is xbox live any good and what games are great for online play?
If all you've played online so far is PS2, Live will blow you away. Might want to get a shorter subscription to make sure that what you want to play is still played; there are a lot of games that don't get much love anymore if they aren't called Halo 2.
I am a firm believer that playing online should be free. This said, XBL is awesome. I have no problem paying $50ish a year to play online. It is great.
If you have free time, Xbox live is cool. I didn't care for all the swearing on Halo 2 though. There seems to be a different crowd with different games though.
I'm not impressed with Xbox Live because of so many dead games. Thus I ditched it, but if the game you want to play is popular than I suppose it's worth it.
