Would anyone be interested in a CAG Chicago meet up at game works (in woodfield)? They have a special for $10 on thursday for all you can play from 9 to midnight.

Hey rocksolidaudio could you pm us with your exact address or zip. The reason I am asking this is because if the drive is more than an hour and a half or so I might not be able to make it, my car barely makes it from point a to b. I check the approximate time on mapquest.
 
Hey I defintely won't be able to make it this weekend, but I'm a Chicagoan too (Lincoln Park, woot).

I cleaned up pretty well at my local Circuit Cities this past weekend (Disgaea and several others). Not sure what's left now tho....haven't been out there since sunday.

I'm trying to see if I can round up some local non-CAG friends as well and shoot for 16-player Halo (I also have to find some more TVs), cause I assume it's fantastic. Either way, I hope more people from this thread are able to go...

The town of Matteson sucks. I had money at a bank there that i was getting out because the money matured. The woman was black, and she was a complete racist to me. She did not treat with me any respect and was totatally rude to me. I am ALWAYS respectful in the place of business, so I KNOW that I did not do anything to make her mad. Just thinking about her really upsets me.
 
Matteson is in north east Illinois, the Chicago area, and someone mentioned that town. I'm just venting my disgust with the person and the town.
 
I can't make gotta work. I work at the tweeter center and I can't miss the Kiss/Poison concert. Not a fan but easy work that night.

everything went well, good times/blood were/was had/shed by all.

we had three CAGers show up, so four total including me. flybrione brought 2 of his pals, and i had 3 of mine there. we played halo about 99% of the time, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the flag. pizza and beer were also consumed at some point during the evening.

so yeah, i had a lot of fun, i hope even more people can make it to the next one (scdoanintendo's car broke down on the way - shitty). i'll start a new thread as soon as i've got a date for next time.
 
dammit i didn't get my pm in time ohs well, guys i have a place (parents) but the entire basement is decked out and finished and ready for 4 link up xbox halo, i'm in st charles about 45 min west of chicago (suburb). I totally would be down for hooking up playing some halo, NCAA 2005, you know what i could care less drinks and pizza would be on me, we should do it lemme know what you think!

Altogether there was 10 guys in and out the whole night, we played most every configuration of Halo possible and a bit of Crimson skies as well. Thanks again for hosting RSA. Its funny to find out you arent teh grand champion.

hey guys, who's interested in some more gaming at my place next saturday from about 5 until midnight (we can start whenever, I've just gotta be done by midnight)? with a little more planning i'm sure we can get some 16-player going (assuming we have the bodies for it). so, who's interested, i'm just testing the waters here.

To my southside brothers:

The Lansing store had a decent amount of games, including Disgesa (sp?), Sphinx, Sims, Batman and a crapload of Perfect Darks.

All CC's are pretty much picked-clean. I'm sure there are a few $5 games hidden in the shelves with the rest of the games. But, I know all the high value games are long gone...
