Where you talking about Video Games Etc? If so, I called and the guy said for me to bring it in and it may not cost me anything (if its a small fix or touchup) but it needs major fixing then it will cost $35 and parts. Thanks flybrione for that recommendation. :)



-Also I went to the Wolfs flea market on mannheim and north and their was someone selling xbox 360 systems. I didnt ask how much but he had a few systems on the table so hopefully at regular price.
 
Orland Park Target has Donkey Konga 2 (no bongos) for $8.74. There were still 1 or 2 left last night. They also had Jungle Beat for $9.98, but I got the last one.

Yeah, I'm going to miss Frank too, but hopefully he can get his ankle/foot whatever fixed and into good health and see him be the dominated frank he used to be but sadly not with the sox. And yes it does look like a fun year for the white sox and hopefully the Cubs can make some noise with the free agents and trades.

Saw in the Trib that Furcal likes the Cubs offer. He would be a nice addition, but they still need lots of help.
 
I think I understand the Cub's plans. They've come to the conclusion that former White Sox players will provide good luck, hence Eyre and Howry.
 
Hello, I just received an email from the Harlem Irving plaza(HIP MALL) that contains a coupon for 20% best buy(only used on one dvd or cd purchase) and other stores that are located within the mall. Pm me if interested.

If anyone is interested, I managed to find a Best Buy that still has a bunch of Xbox 360 demo disks - with the coupons still inside. The Golf Mill Store in Niles keeps them on the bottom shelf with the Xbox 360 games. They had a whole bunch, but may have pulled some to keep for the 18th. They don't have a problem with you walking out with 2 or 3 at a time, as long as you stop to have them wrung up.

Look for a display on the far side of the games section -- if any are remaining.

if anyone has a premium 360 they'd part with for $500 (doesn't matter if it's opened, as long as it comes with all parts and documentation, including the box.) let me know please.

Hey, I was at wolfs flea market the other day and someone had 360's(basic) for sale and I think he was offering them for $300 (I think). You can call the flea market and ask if anyone is selling any 360 systems and the person selling will pick up the line.

I used to go to windy city all the time at Six Corners. He basically went out of business and sold all his stock to a high bidder from what I know.

A buddy from college I knew worked there for a few before he closed, he said that he was not really making much money because of the bigger franchises.

Reagrding the $10 off 29.99 or higher game coupon; I was able to use a printed version twice at the Downers Grove (Butterfield Rd) Best Buy with no hassle.
 
Thanks for the info about Wolff's Fleamarket Ryo. Went there today to look around, no 360s, but that one guy (hopefully you know who i'm talking about) had a TON of game stuff. unfortunately, his prices didn't seem any better than anywhere else (online included) and for some reason, a lot of it wasn't for sale...he was taking 360 preorders though :lol:

What is a short guy and he was working on a pc? I ask because I think thats the guy who you are talking about, he has alot of old games. I usually by from him turbografx games at decent prices - splatterhouse for $15 new packed.

How about them Bears yesterday. Was great to leave Vick out in the cold of the defense and nice to see signs of offensive life with Rex back at QB.

It was great seeing the bears defense kick some a$$, especially after that off day at Pittsburg. It would be nice to have a good offense to go with the top rated defense in the nfl.

I picked up Digital Devil Saga and Metal Slug 4/5 at the Fox Valley TRU. Going to price adjust at the local (Joliet) store tomorrow. Joliet doesn't have DDS, so I decided it was worth it to buy when I could and adjust later. I may pick up some more tomorrow, depending on what the store has.
 
Didn't find any DDS or Crazy Taxi but pretty much everything else was there. Ran into a few other CAGs as well. The employees were wondering how we knew about it and were quite helpful in finding games but in the end I really narrowed it down from teh 20 on my list to 5.

I was not able to go early this morning but I got the last copies
of Doom3, Conker and Area 51 for Xbox at the Niles, Golf Road store during my lunch hour at work.

The parking lot was packed and the traffic was unreal.
Too many last minute Christmas shoppers.

I ended up only getting Psychonauts for the PS2, though I totally forgot about the controller deal in my sudden turn of financial sensibility. (Those controllers weren't there, right?)

At any rate, I actually got to that TRU around 8:30 after visiting the wrong Best Buy (Old Orchard in Skokie) for a 360. The adventure begins again tomorrow...

Joliet TRU was pretty drained when I got there this evening. I was able to get price adjustments for DDS and Metal Slug 4/5. I picked up Alien Hominid, FF I and II, and Mr Driller. I also wanted Midway Arcade Treasures 2 (PS2) and Metal Slug Advance, but no luck.
 
When I left Crystal Lake TRU at ~9:30pm, they still had some DDS in stock. I grabbed two in case there are any other CAGs looking for them. If nobody wants them, they're going to be returned to the closest TRU to my house. I'd prefer not to have to go through the hassle of mailing them.

Trading:
2x DDS (EDIT: one has already been spoken for, the second is now pending)
1x Pikmin 2

Hey, when'd you get the DDS?

I went Monday to get stuff ahead of time, and they didn't have any.

I'm getting one through a trade though.

I got it Tuesday night at the Fox Valley store. I was heading home to Joliet from Glen Ellyn, so it was convenient to go. Joliet had not had it in awhile and Downers Grove Butterfield said it was sold out. I actually called them Monday asking about it and couldn't get any answers at first. Then they said they had 3 as there were three empty cases out on the shelf. When I got there Tues evening, I again had some trouble. I took one of the three cases up to the register and the girl said she had never seen the game before. She checked in back and couldn't find it. I was persistent for her to look in the big glass case. Lo and behold there it was next to Dragon Quest VIII. I could see at least one other copy in the case.
