Well most people actually stay IN the army because of child births. Free healthcare is a big factor. Personally I wouldn't know what I'd do in the civilian world. My job in the military is
Psychological Operations
which could land me some sweet jobs later on in life seeing as I can work with Ambassadors and CIA while I'm doing what I do now. Basically I could do Department of Defense jobs like its nothing... still though we'll see what I end up doing. Two years is quite a while out and I'll spend at least some of that time chewing on some sand.

I'm not a fucking screenwriter, I don't want to 'write' the story in my head as to what lead the main character to where they are, or what happens after they hit the sea. It's just sloppy witting...dude probably couldn't come up with a good way on how to start it or end it.

The question is whether what happened before or after matters or would make for interesting cinema. Inevitably, it doesn't.
