As the topic title says I've got a few questions about playing the PSP on a television. I already know that the slim ones can do it (2000 and 3000 models) and that you can hook the system up via composite or component cables. However I was wondering if you guys could answer some other questions about the subject?
1. When you play on an LCD TV does it fill the entire screen? I've seen videos of people playing and some are full screen and others aren't. Does it have anything to do with the resolution of the TV (720p vs 1080p)?
2. How is the quality of the picture on the TV? Is it pretty much identical to the PSP or does it lose some of the quality when being displayed on a television? Also, is there a difference in quality between 2000 and 3000 models? I heard about an interlacing issue with the 3000 models' screens, but does that happen on the TV screen as well?
3. Can you hook up a PS3 controller to the PSP and use that to control the PSP games you're playing? I've heard supposedly that only works on the PSP Go's, but I was curious if it might also work on the slim models of the PSP.
I don't really care about playing on the system's screen itself (as I wouldn't be using it as a portable gaming system really and the screen is too small for me) and I don't need to use it as a portable music/video device either. I'm just interested in hooking it up to my TV to play. I know that sounds strange, but the PSP has quite a few games I'd really like to play that just aren't on the PS3 (or PS2 for that matter).
