The following thread are for niche-based Japanese video games by smaller companies such as Atlus, NIS America, AKSYS, XSEED, D3 Publisher, KOEI/TECMO, SNK Playmore, Ignition, Natsume or any sweet deals for those who are passionate and hardcore about Japanese video games even from the bigger companies like SquareEnix, Sega, Bandai Namco, etc.

But to avoid any messiness of links everywhere, we'll focus on games within the last 2-3 years as opposed to the last five-ten. [although, if you do see older titles on sale, please post them regardless].

The theme of these deals are Japanese video games distributed in the US by the smaller niche companies. The thread is literally for those who love Japanese games.
There will be a few Korean games that you may see on this list, such as the "DJ Max" games.

If you see a deal, please post!

NOTE: Please check the most recent page for the latest deals.

And I want to thank many of you in advance who submit their deals and their support!!!

This is from the FAQ on their site:

"Iffy's Online Store is enforcing a one-per-customer policy to make our limited edition products available to as many people as possible. We have set up our store to restrict the purchase of multiple units of the same limited edition product. If any of the following scenarios occurs, we will cancel applicable orders without any further notice:

1. If the system fails for any reason, and allows a customer to purchase multiple copies of a limited edition item.
2. If we see purchase patterns suggesting that one customer is placing multiple orders.
"

I hope they intend to follow through on this.

wonder how many of these orders will be cancelled... I doubt any of them will unless they sell out quickly and have to cherry pick orders to cancel.

when you try to enter more then 1 at check out it says LIMIT 1 per order people come come back and say they never seen 1 per household. and people can bitch and say more then 1 person lives at that household. Was getting 2 one to play one to keep sealed. Funny how people think this will be worth major cash like the first one. First one was sold out within 2 mins , this one is still up after 20 mins. ALSO the first one was very limited due to the fact they could only get 1000 japan charm things. They could print 10,000 of the piss ass calanders.

you will be lucky to dump them for 100 to 125. not like the 500 we are getting for the first LE

I have every intention of having it out at work just to piss off one person in particular.
Just don't flip to that girl getting attacked by the slime one man. Pretty sure you're gonna make someone uncomfortable with that. And this is comming from a guy that framed the monogram from the LE 1

I wonder if this is also because there's less press around it. I remember when Neptunia 1 was comming out basically every major gaming outlet was reporting on it because of how limited it was

The order numbers are just their ID's. Mine is 5206, but I ordered before some of you guys with "3xxx". I think there'll be enough for at least another day, but no where near as many as Killer is Dead's LE.

Wow, almost forgot about this! Just got home and luckily I still had the twitter page still open!  :)

Not going to lie though, I kinda got peer pressured into buying this. I don't really NEED the CE since I too only have the regular first release. Oh well, if I don't like it I'm sure it will hold it's re-sale value.

It's a good thing they went beyond 1000 units this time around.

Hard to justify $18 for a calendar and a soundtrack. I might just hold out for now.
Yes, it is. However, HDN games tend to have their LE values rise after they go out-of-print. If not for selling, then there's still value in simply collecting it if you have Re; Birth 1 LE or the PS3 LE's.

wonder how many still have the birth 1 le. I thought i was going to keep mine forever , that was until someone took it for 500 on amazon.

I always thought those were fake listings (many "new seller accounts"), but on eBay I still see them floating around. This LE will probably hover between $80-120 like Danganronpa 2's LE. For HyperDevotion, Omega Quintet & Unleashed I hope they create LE's with better extras.

Not rare enough. Going to cancel.
I have every other HDN LE... it would be difficult for me to break it up now... But if slidecage got $500 for his HDN rebirth 1 LE, i may have to seriously consider that. Collector in me says no, but $500 basically covers all the HDN LE's I've bought to date.

Did you sell it really early? It seems like the prices have been hovering around 300-350 for a while now.

ikr I don't want to sell games anymore but dat money. I could buy a hell of alot of games with that kind of scratch.

I love my fire emblems, working design games and .hacks but the trade in values alone..... Hell was anyone here when awakening came out? Fricken shadow dragons trade in value on amazon jumped to 30-40$ and path of radiance was like 80+$

Would they cancel multiples the two orders were on the same IP address, but different billing info/shipping address? I wanted to order one for a friend, but he's not available right now, so I'd make him an account and use his info.

Yea, I don't really have any care for the CE as I missed the 1st one they did. I just placed an order as I figure it could be something I could use as trade fodder later on.

Eh no real incentive to get this LE, it's not nearly as rare and the bonuses are kind of meh.

I'm tempted to sell my Re;Birth LE too at these prices tho

I just emailed Idea Factory Customer Service to cancel my order. I'm no longer interested. I mainly bought because of hype. $57 is pretty expensive for this particular collector's edition. Hopefully it's cancelled before it ships.
