In for DAII and SCV. Does Dragon Age have an import save option from the first one? Reason I ask is I haven't played the first one yet and wondering if I'd miss out on anything just skipping it.

Finally! Ive been a member since Feb with no good deals for me. The SCIV one looks intriguign as I wasnt going to touch it till it was $20

Yes, it does import. You can even import an incomplete one and it will fill in the rest. I'm currently doing this for my first run through, and for my "good" run through I'll be using a "good" run from the first game.

And thanks to the people who posted the coupons. I'll be totally down with a $10 SC5.

Is 40 the new msrp for scv? Also in for da2 even though I havent played the first one yet. Is the ultimate edition of da worth it or would the vanilla be fine?

The ultimate adds a ton of DLC. I recommend it.

I was told at my local BB that they don't pricematch websites (I knew this)... except for amazon.com

-yeah, I didn't believe it either until I walked out with SFxTekken LE for $40 a few minutes later.

He said it was the company's policy and had been for a long time. I think he's mistaken (in an awesome way) - can anyone provide further info for me?

Oh, and, yeah - definitely in for $10 SSX... also gonna have to return the $9.99 used DA2 I scooped up in order to save $5 on a new copy.

Is there any possibility of a GOTY for DA2, its an awesome price after coupon, but I really need to cutback on the "its so cheap purchases". It adds up when your buying 3 different versions, original print, expansion and then ultimately GOTY. I've been caught quite a few times already.

Someone might need to find the SKU for PS3 Dragon Age 2, so that we can do the SKU substitution trick to check inventory. Similar thing happened with Mass Effect 2 and Bulletstorm in March, where the SKUs were removed from the system prior to the sale and we had to do the SKU trick to check.

I called BB (to have them hold one for me...took the SA 10 minutes to find 1) as soon as I saw this thread, went and pre-bought DA 2 (PS3).

When I got to BB, I looked to check if there were any more DA 2 for PS3...didn't see any, so I think I got the last one.

If anyone wants DA 2, I suggest picking it up immediately. This could turn into another ME2-like outage.

Also, while I was paying for DA 2, the CS rep asked if I liked AC, then she went on to tell me AC:R was on sale for $30...told her I picked up for $10 on Sunday.

I have a receipt...how many #s is a SKU?

It may be YMMV, but I subscribed back in March or April and still haven't received my magazine. Whenever I needed to get in on one of the deals, my Best Buy just verified my account and scanned a coupon they had on hand. And this has been with different employees, btw, so you should be okay. (done this with AC:R, Homefront, and Resistance 3).

I might go for SSX at $10.

I subscribed about a week before Max Payne 3 released so I qualified for the $20 gift card. Hopefully I get my magazine soon enough. It'd be nice, especially if I get the gift card and can use that on this.

What is the number? The SKU trick is you search something else by SKU, then replace the SKU number in the browser address bar with the PS3 Dragon Age SKU.
 
wait, so for the record, we are all buying DA II now b/c of low copies. When we get the magazine, we go back and do a return/rebuy with the coupon and it will be OK b/c there is no sale or manipulation? Sounds fine with me..still kicking myself for missing ME3 for the PS3 for whatever it was..went to like 5 stores.

edit: damn yeah this is disappearing, only seeing 5 stores out of 3 pages with it..
