Yes, but don't open it up the game before you return/rebuy+coupon.

Correct. Ive done this twice and both times Ive had no problem.

I'm going to take my chances and wait for the magazine, making an extra trip with gas so expensive would kill the deal for me. If it's out when I check inventory that day, oh well.
 
Anybody tried to do return/rebuy at a different BB than the one where the original purchase was made? There shouldn't be problem right? Need to run an algorithm to determine the best way to spend my time and gas.

I am hoping Dark Souls drops to $30 so I can pick it up for less than $20. Although the announcement of DLC this winter makes me think of just waiting for that version.
 
Damn...checked the Dragon Age 2 PS3 availability in my area and NOTHING within 100 miles or so. I am disappoint....wanted to throw it in my back log along with the sealed copy of DA Ulimate edition still unopened....

Awesome...only one store near me had DA2 in stock...ordered with in store pick up so it will be held until next Friday. Will pick up, return and rebuy :)

yeah, thats what I was wondering..I hate the in-store pickup receipts, as there is no barcode to scan and its very vague..I think they have to look it up another way. Never had a return / re-buy instance with in-store pickup so I don't really know how it works. Maybe you could print your receipt from the RZ webste..I think they always need that string of numbers that is your Customer Service Pin or something..

Why would that be the case at all...it comes of their store stock, not shipped to the store or anything...so it can easily be returned to the store. It wouldnt work trying to use the coupon on the order online but a return/rebuy would be like any other.

There actually is a barcode to scan on my pickup receipt...do they not print you a store receipt as well? Pretty sure all they need is the customer service pin anyways.

Went ahead and looked it up to be sure lol...even online orders can be returned to the store, but they can only give credit back to the original credit/debit card or paypal account, which is no problem.

Are you sure they are going to have a Prepare to Die console version? Or are you just thinking about getting the PC version? I know they are releasing the extra content as dlc for consoles, but I hadn't heard of a new console version.

When you pick up an in-store order, their computer system won't allow a return for a couple hours. So you'll need to make 2 trips for your plan to work.

I would definitely pick up DA: Ultimate Edition before beginning DA2. The original is a lot better than the second one.
 
Based off of the sheer number of copies that my local Best Buy has of SSX. I would be amazed if it doesn't go on Sale this month to combine with that coupon.
 
It looks like I'm gonna be buying Dragon Age II for a SECOND time. I got it for I think $10-15 soon after release with another @Gamer coupon. I'm also considering Deadliest Warrior, though I'll have to YouTube some gameplay of that as I don't wanna make another mistake of Call Of Juarez: The Cartel proportions.:razz:

EDIT: OK. I just watched a quick two minute gameplay video on YT(Spartan Vs. Pirate) and while I admit I laughed a bit at how silly the game is(like a poor mans' Mortal Kombat but without fatalities) it's not worth $10 to me.

So it looks like I'm gonna be using ONE f'n coupon this month again and that's IF I remember to pick up DA II(which my closest store has in stock according to that locator).

What the fuck is with BB and that $10 off $29.99 pre-owned game coupon? Isn't this like the third or fourth month they've used it? :roll:

You're not alone man. I didn't use any coupons last month. I already had a copy of AC:R so I have no use for that expiring coupon. You win some, you lose some. I also already have a copy of Dragon Age 2 from BBV which was $7.
 
For people wanting to use in-store pickup in the future, there is a better way to do it then trying to do a price adjustment witha return/rebuy. When you go to pick it up, ask them to not finish the transaction and let you purchase it right then and there as a new transaction. Then when you go home, just cancel online. The people at customer service have let me do that multiple times. Works well if you have a credit card and don't want to tie up gift cards and RZ certs.
 
Awesome! After May's very boring coupons, it's nice to see we have some good ones in June.

I imagine I'll have a $5 DAII (already have PC ver, too), $10 SSX, and $10 SCV in my possession by the end of the month. Thanks OP!

Despite what others have said you don't necessarily have to play one before playing 2. They are very different games. one is a true RPG. 2 is More of hack and slash in an RPG wrapper. I started 2 before I played 1 and I don't feel that I really missed out on anything. Don't get me wrong 1 is worth playing but no rush in my opinion.

And I hope the SSX sale happens. It has been on sale numerous times since launch. I've seen it as low as $29.99 at BB for one week.
 
The Deadliest Warrior games are XBLA games put on a disk so you can download the demos there. I rather like them and intend to get them for $10 but YMMV. They aren't great at all and if you intend to 100% them GOOD LUCK HAHAHAHAHA but they're fun

That's the thing though. Without being able to make gaming credit to spend I'm gonna be buying less and less unless they're deals like the $5 Dragon Age II or unless there's some gaming pre-owned deals that have a glitched double Gamer's Club Unlocked discount like we saw with Dead Island a lil while back.

In other words, I'm back to being a real devil customer 100% of the time again.:D Not that I ever stopped being a devil customer in the first place.:booty:

This info makes me feel much better. I was thinking it was intentional filler to blank some of the coupons each month, but knowing that the fish actually use them regularly and thus subsidize the real deals for us gives me the warm fuzzies.

These coupons are kinda a target to hurt GS. Think of it this way, the same non informed customer that would buy a used game from the for $55 would jump all over the $45 used price from BB but add the $10 off on top if it then they're gonna pay the $15 to be unlocked & continue to shop BB. There's more of them then us but we get more outta our $15 then they will but they will "feel" just as happy since they saved more @ BB than @ GS.

I was really surprised there was no opportunity to use that NCAA 12 coupon from last month. I figured that would have to go on sale at some point. $20 was just too much - I was really hoping for $5 on that. And yet here we get $5 on DA II (which I already have).
