I had both Dragon Age 2 and Deadliest Warrior in my hands at BBY and still didn't want to buy it. I knew it would be like collecting $5 on the shelf and never being able to use it.

I finally dragged myself in to Best Buy and used my coupons from this otherwise worthless magazine: got Resistance 3, Deadliest Warriors, and DA II for a few cents under $20 total. Not too bad.

I know some people on here give you shit about mentioning past deals, but I personally enjoy it. If I missed out on said deal, I know it might be that price or less in the future. SR3 is definitely worth it. My duster and I finished it twice. I bought it for Christmas, and I definitely want to go back and try to get the 100%. Damn, that reminds me. I'd have to play it again because I recently lost my save file.

I have never played a game before with mine. However, I think I might break out the old feather duster and see if he's any good at SR3.

Deadliest Warrior is pretty bad by itself, but when combined with one of the following it has the potential to be ridiculous, stupid fun; Booze, Bongs, or Friends. With any one of these the game become much more fun, if you combine 2 of them, or even all 3 its actually a great time somehow

I can't remember if I posted this hear, but I had some 18 year old kid giving me a hard time about the coupons and kept going to talk to the manager to try and figure out a way to not use them. Eventually I looked at him and said something like "[name], you seem like you are having a rough day here, can I give you a hug?" He asks "what?" and I say again, "you seem like you need a hug, can I give you a hug?" and he says no and then the transaction moved along much faster, because I think he thought I was going to hug him at any moment.
 
Stopped by my local BB and they still had DW for $19.99. The cashier was nice and helpful to resolve the pricing issue. After everything I picked up DW for free. Sweet!
 
Picked up SSX, Resistance 3, Dragon Age 2, and Deadliest Warrior. $30 for SSX seemed like a good deal and I can't remember the last time I played an SSX game since the first one on PS2. It's really good tbh.
 
Damn. Now I feel stupid buying SCV from the GameFly sale for $20 bucks. Damn. I bought 2 copies too! (One for me, one for my brother).

Oh well.

Edit: I wasn't going to get SSX, since I'm more of a Tony Hawk guy when it comes to board-based extreme sports and I'm definitely getting that when the HD version comes out, but I might go get it tomorrow morning.
 
Gonna hit up best buy today for SSX and SC5 for $20, can't beat that. Already picked up DA2, R3 and DW when the mag first came out. DW sucks ass, stay away from it.
 
I had Dragon Age 2 and Deadliest Warrior in my hand yesterday, but put them back. Even at $5 each, I could not pull the trigger. My backlog is just too huge right now.

Will probably pick up SSX & SC5 tomorrow. Doubt there will be any DA2 left but I'll probably pick one up if I see it, can't pass up $5.

This is great IMO. Should have done this a long time ago. Will eliminate people printing coupons or trying to use bootleg apps without paying for the mag/subscription.

yeah the magazine is totally worth it. i already have 2 subs, but got another mag today.
for $5 i save 30 off ssx, 20 off scv, 15 off da2, 20 off dw, and 20 off res3. just this month alone is worth it to buy an extra mag.
can't wait for next months coupons. im hoping for a syndicate / binary domain coupon... fingers crossed.

This doesn't even account for the magazine itself, the extra trade-in value, the extra $10 added to my ME3 gift certificate, or the extra 10% savings on any used games that I received as well. That list was limited to just the coupons I've used. ;) You're both right though, there have been a number of $5-$15 games that range from mid-range titles to AAA games.

@Technicalstylez - Well, as soon as I find out what month that was, I'll need to update my post. I'd completely forgotten that I bought Dead Island with that coupon. Nope, I missed Dead Island. It was March, and it was the $8 Sly Cooper Collection :)
