I was driving around to out-of-the-way Gamestops to take advantage of the B2G1 sale, passed by a K-Mart and stopped inside. Near the electronics section, they had a sign up advertising 50% off select games this weekend (June 11 and 12).

When I leafed though the games in the display, it looked like pretty much the same selection as the last 50% sale. I remember Jak II, and a bunch of racing games - nothing too exciting. But last time, more games were 50% off than just those in the display so you may want to check it out.

Anyway, back from the BigK. They did have Mech Assualt 2 and I picked that up for $15. DOn't forget the $5 pricegrabber rebate!

Also grabbed a copy of Dog Soldiers on DVD for $4.

If you're headed to K-Mart for games also search the DVD isle for this. It's well worth the $4 bucks. One of the better films starring the Garou. It's been on Sci-fi a lot too. But it's a must buy for $4.
 
Thanks I picked up a copy of Zoo Keeper since I only have Mario 64 for my DS and liked the flash version of Zoo Keeper :)

Zoo Keeper also has a $5 pricegrabber rebate as does Feel The Magic: XY/XX

Some of the games from previous K-Mart 50% sales may not be 50% this time around I noticed that Metal Slug 3 for the Xbox was $30 (would be $15 with 50% off)

:whistle2:k strange some of the games on the previous sale weren't a part of this sale, while others were. Either way, I managed to find Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced for $17.50 and Mega Man X8 for $10, so I was quite satisfied.

Well, the price tags lie, and not everything is in the 50% bin.

At the store I go to, the "bin" is just a tupperware bucket with the same crappy games in it as the last sale in March. All of the other games, such as Zoo Keeper and Baten Kaitos were marked 34.99 (!!!) and 49.99, respectively.

I'd reckon that everything on that list is part of the sale, if they scan it through.

doom 3 was misplaced in the bin, the lady asked if she wanted me to honor it, i said yes. They also had 5 forza motorsports, 4 splinter cell chaos theorys on ps2, and european assault on ps and xbox (even for 20 i wasnt sure...).

this was in everett,wa on highway 99.

Well, I hit up my K-Mart today and came out completely empty-handed. Best thing I saw was Rumble Roses for $15 after the half off. No Final Fantasy Tactics Advance in stock, no Fire Emblem in stock so I couldn't even check that...so I got squat.

Got Zoo Keeper and FFX for $10 a piece. I wanted Crimson Skies, but it rang up for $20. I've also never seen so many copies of Baten Kaitos in my life.

forza was incorrectly placed in the 50% off bin, so if you where to go, its fair game to say it was in the bin, and they will most likely honor it.

however, if they dont, you can always bring up bait and switch and call the cops..if your a real shaq-fuer :p
 
I hit a couple of the K-Marts on the south side of Indy today. The one in Beech Grove was a total bust. I asked the woman in electronics very nicely to do some price checks. She looked in the case and said, "What, you can't read the stickers?" And I explained that a friend of mine had gotten some stuff at different prices. She just smirked at me. I said, "Please check?" So finally she did, and things were less than the stickers, but not 50% off. Very strange.

I also hit the one in Greenwood, with better luck. Well, somewhat, as the guy behind the counter there didn't want to scan anything either. I did manage to get him to scan some stuff, and got Karaoke Rev 2, which I've not been able to find anywhere, for $15, which was actually MORE than 50% off.

Strange, but I'll take it. 8)

Fuzion Frenzy and Counterstrike are NOT part of the deal.

Got them to scan them up here, they came up 9.99, explained to her nicely that other people I know at different K-Mart's got them 50% off, and I even got games 50% off that weren't in the bin.

She couldn't find the list, apparently another employee "threw it away", so she called a manager who just overrided the price for me to mark them down to five bucks.

I tried to decline after they rang up wrong, as they were just Gamerush trade fodder, but she insisted on making sure the computer wasn't acting up.

Also tried LOTR: Return of the King - no dice. Only Two Towers is on sale.

Apparently it's a Bejeweled clone. I don't play PC games, so I wouldn't know from firsthand experience. That said, it was completely fresh to me, and it plays really well using the stylus. Even playing the same on a PC using a mouse wouldn't feel as fun to me. The music sounds like it could be done on the NES and the tunes get on my nerves, and the translation is a little wonky. But those are my only gripes about it. It has a multiplayer mode and you only need one cart, there are a few different gameplay modes, and the core gameplay is a lot of fun. I picked it up for $30 and was happy, but at $10 I'd suggest for everybody to buy it.

On another note, to bump my earlier request, if anybody can score me a Mario vs. DK (GBA) from this half-off sale, I'd greatly appreciate it!

you'd be suprised how many people will pay 40 dollars to shut their kids up.

So has anyone else gotten Fusion Frenzy or Counterstrike to come up as $5?

Like I said earlier, it didn't scan up $5 for me... if it was their mistake and it's actually on the list, I will do them a favor and buy them all.

They trade in to Gamerush for $7 and $8 dollars respectively, and are great canidiates for the last week of "trade in 3 get a PO for $5".
 
Found a number of items on the list, as well as two of the MP4/Wavebird bundles @ $35 and FFTA for $17.49.

Monster Hunter was $14.99, as was Rumble Roses. POP:WW for GC was $14.99, not the PS2 or XBox versions. Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow (GC) for $9.99.

Thief: Deadly Shadows was $14.99, as was Bloodrayne 2, PS2 & Xbox.

Plus a truly shocking find. New & sealed WarioWare for GBA, $9.99.

MGS:TTS wasn't marked down, it was $29.99, as was WarioWare for GC.
 
So, if anyone couldn't find Baten Kaitos, FFTA, MP4/WB bundle, POP:WW (GC), Zoo Keeper, Ping Pals, FTM:XX/XY, Monster Hunter or Rumble Roses, I'll have 'em. At least until the sale is over.

They had a few small totes with 50% off games on the electonics checkout counter, but they had several other titles from the OP list, including Shark Tale and Zoo Keeper, still locked in the case. When I asked the guy to get Shark tale I told him I heard it was also 50% off. He didn't believe me until he rang it up :D.
 
OP list updated with latest finds people have mentioned. Good luck for those going out Sunday.

I may head out tomorrow myself as, while it didn't seem part of the sale, one of the K-Marts I went to was clerancing Silent Hill 3 for $13 and I've been considering getting that.

I made a couple more additions, like Ping Pals for $10, as well as adding in a couple of prices, and fixing a couple of typos.

All the Kmarts I went to still had the DS games in the case. None were in the plastic bins. Some GBA games were in the bins, while most were in the case.
 
Eh. I picked up a Baten Kaitos, Midway Treasures 2, and Red Dead Revolver all of rless than $40. Not bad. The selection sucked at my local store though. One bin with half of it being sport games.
