Hey... I'm kind of strapped for time, so I will only list the major titles and the new titles that I noticed on the list (and re-highlight some awesome deals). The other thread was too much of a mess - this one is the definitive list of the blue light titles with all the correct titles. I will go back through if the demand is there and add in all the titles - for now these are just the important ones.

The other list is only about 50% right at this point, so don't bother linking to it, you are just going to confuse everyone.

The price I list is the price after the 50% off.

Sale runs from Saturday 9/17 to Sunday 9/18.

Chronicles of Riddick - 9.99

Zoo Keeper - 9.99
Tiger Woods 2005 and Madden 2005 - 14.99

PS One:

No PSP games whatsoever. The rest of the list is the crap that's just shown up the other 20 times (Baten Kaitos, Jak 2). Like I said earlier, if the demand is there I will put the rest of the stuff up, but all the good games are already listed.

If I didn't add it right now, it is NOT PART OF THE SALE, as all the hot games are listed, there's just another 150 games that are GH / shovelware I didn't list.

Wow, didn't realize that WPT and Punisher were a part of this. I may have run to my K Mart in a few hours and pick them up, assuming they have them in stock and on sale.

Went to 3 K-marts last night looking for a nice new winter coat/jacket. ALL winter outerwear and accessories are 40% off this weekend! got a $60 coat for $35.99...

oh, and picked up Cold Winter (lol @ the just-realized irony of the combo) PS2 for $9.99
I'm a sucker for rag-doll physics...

just got back from my local K-mart. Once again they were too lazy to set out a bin, so I managed to convince an employee to scan a couple things for me.

Just to update WarioWare(GC) is no longer part of the 50% sale(rang up $29.99) and Crash Twinsanity(XB) rang up as $9.99. Grabbed Twinsanity for my wife.

I grabbed Zelda and Metroid both classic nes series for the gba and at $5 dollars each. They also had Zelda 2 classic nes series for the gba at $10.
Didn't see these ones on the first page, so :

PS2 Ghost Recon 2 $10
GC Tales of Symphonia $10
GC Harry Potter/Azkaban $10
Tales ended up ringing up at $15 for me

Ooooops yes, about that one, it had a 19.99 sticker on it but rang up as $14.99, but since it was in the 50% off bin, the guy did an override so I got it for $10. So definitely a YMMV on that one.

Also another one I remembered, PS2 Full Spectrum Warrior for $9 (yes 9, the price tag was $18.00)
Tales ended up ringing up at $15 for me
It should ring up as $15 everywhere... Tales is shipped frequently to us by Nintendo, so K-Mart wouldn't be blue lighting that anytime soon.

The list is still the same for this go around, they probably won't update it until after Christmas, when DS / PSP pick up more steam with their libraries, the 360 is out, and K-Mart needs all that shelf space back from the stuff that isn't selling.

Anything you find that's not on the list is really YMMV, like that Tales. And that Full Spectrum Warrior is odd, because it's MSRP at our store is $14.99... dinovelvet, your store is an oddity

Blah Blah Blah! Nothing against you Roufuss because you've always been a help on the inside. I'm just wondering when K-Mart is going to learn how to compete and truly clearence out games. How many times do I have to see similar lists everytime K-Mart has a blue light special.
Thanks for the info Roufuss.

Funny thing is tonight the guy at KMart said they had craploads of games in the back mixed in with dvds in big boxes not to mention a 3 glass cases practically overflowing with games. I'm tempted to just work there for a day just to tap that, but I dont think im that desperate to save a dollar

I have gone as far up in the company as I could with this same issue, believe me. I even suggested letting stores do their own clearance, ala Wal-Mart or now Best Buy, on a store by store basis.

Some stuff we have, we haven't sold in a YEAR, like the Time Crisis Guncon bundle set. They told me marking it down 50%, ala Blue Light, would cause too much of a loss in sales - I told them they were already losing sales having it clog up my case, which in turn makes it harder for me to put NEW games out that would actually sell. I also pointed to the blue light sales, which moves product VERY fast - people will buy any shitty game as long as it is half off, they think they are getting a "deal".

Here's the thing: K-Mart is such a small part of video game sales, barely scratching 3%, that they really don't give a damn about competing anymore I think. I would love nothing more then to get rid of all those copies of RE: Outbreak 2, Siren, and 30 copies of Getaway; Black Monday (no joke) but it's just not happening.

The DVD's he should be sending back for credit, no need to keep those... but with games, whatever we get in, we're stuck with. Those six copies of Radiata Stories I got in? Yea, stuck with those until forever. Same with Romancing Saga, Nightmare Before Christmas, 50 billion DBZ games.

There's nothing there to tap, believe me, unless you really feel the need for Gran Turismo 4 (40 + copies, woo!!) The only thing they sent me a ton of was Madden 2006, and I actually sold every copy of that.

K-Mart just dosen't know how to cater to its audience. Why the hell did my store get Romancing Saga and Gunstar Super Heroes in the first place?? The people who want those games will just get them someplace because they figure we won't even carry them. Target learned that lesson with La Pucelle.

Not tryin to bust your balls or anything but my K-mart was sold out of Gunstar Superheroes today :D.

Anyway I picked up these games today.
Metroid (NES Classic Series) 5.00
Metal Slug Advance 10.00 (me and a fellow CAG bought the last 2 my store had)
Project Snowblind Xbox 10.00
Shaman King: Master of Spirits 7.50
Super Mario Bros (Nes Classic Series) 5.00

All in all, some sweet deals. Pretty good sale.
What GBA NES classic games are at $5 besides Metroid, Zelda, and Super mario bros?
$4.99 GBA Classic NES Series games with 50% off at K-Mart:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ice Climber
Xevious: The Avenger
Metroid
Super Mario Bros.
Legend of Zelda
Excitebike (I need this one if somebody can get me a new sealed one.)

NOT 50% off - Still $9.99
----------------------------------
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
Donkey Kong
Dr. Mario
Bomberman
Castlevania
Pac-Man

Hit up K-Mart yesterday. No sign of a sale, scanned a few games and nothin'. I did buy a DVD rack for my game though, and I'm lovin' it.

I grabbed PoP Warrior Within today (xbox) for $10.

I know it's $8 at K-mart on Thanksgiving but I visited all three of my Kmarts and only one had any copies. Two. So I bought one.

Also, not a single one of my K-marts had any copies of Star Wars Battlefield 2.

My friend picked up Excitebike for $2.50 today. It must have been 50% off $5.00. Too bad there was only 1 copy left or else I would have got myself one. Didn't scan the Metroid game I saw but now I am curious.

I went back to Kmart today and bought Ice Cliber NES classic on the GBA for $5. Since I'm going to mail a pricegrabber rebate for that game, I'm going to get it for free.
Yes it is but better hurry. Sale ends tonight.
Thanks picked it up today along with Excitebike for $2.99!
