Unless they fix the PS3 version I'm going with the 360 one. If they do fix the PS3 version, I'll probably go with that one since I prefer the controller.

I'm most excited for Tales of Vesperia, being a big Tales fan. The 360's RPG lineup is quite impressive, and I have to say it's about time we started getting more JRPGs. I kind of feel bad for the PS3...

After playing Abyss and Symphonia I share your sentiments on Vesperia, it's going to be superb.

I'm thinking FF Versus XIII will be quite the game (Kingdom Hearts without the Disney + more violence).

FF XII bored me to tears, do we know what kind of battle system XIII proper is using?
 
hrm... actually, I realized that there's not another game this year that I'm mega-excited about after Thursday. That's kinda depressing.

Still looking forward to Last Remnant and Project Origin more than anything, though.
 
I'm reallly looking forward to The Last Remnant and Infinite Undiscovery. I will probably check out Star Ocean 4 as well, although I'm more excited for the PSP remakes of 1 and 2. As for SCIV, I prolly won't be getting it. Never been the biggest fan of 3D fighters for some reason. I will give the demo a shot though.

I'll probably get the 360 version of SC4 just becuase I have more friends on XBL. Thats really the only reason I can give you since I can't really think of another... I'm still debating on getting the SC4 LE and Arcade Stick though...

I was really a big fan of Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Symphonia, So I'm really looking for to playing Tales of Vesperia and ToS: Dawn of the New World(II know it's a Wii game). I'm also kind of interested in Star Ocean 4 and Valkyrie Chronicles... We'll see if that changes as I get more info on them.

BUT, what am I looking forward to most? Persona fuckin 4.

Same here, I just finished Persona 3 a few weeks ago and I want more. Saddly There will be no Mitsuru in this game :(
 
Oh yea... how bout some CAG members try to make it out to San Diego Comic-Con eh?

There will be so many games to play there, it's going to be insane.

+ I heard some Kojima dude might be there.

Seriously, if you go it will probably be your only chance to play a few 'certain' titles that won't be coming out for a long time.
 
SC4: wherever the competition is at. most likely PS3 because i wanna use my HRAP and i'll just pick up a converter =) don't plan on playing online though, so it's all good

RPGs: DQ4, FF4, and probably DQ5. the DS is where it's at! also wanna check out ToV when it comes out since i liked ToS so much.
 
Getting PS3 version of SCIV, mainly 'cause of Vader. :p

Lots of RPG I'm looking forward to as well!

The Mistwalker 360 games, White Knight, FFXIII, the two Tales games on 360 and Wii, the DQ remakes on DS, FFIV...yoiks!

Nothing will ever sell "well" anymore since GTA IV.... ;/

Numbers, no matter how well they are, will pale in comparison.

I'm sure MGS4 will hit a million in a week or so... just my guess though.

It won't do it in one day.

Yeah, I think that most people who want the game will pick it up on day 1, so it'll have good day 1 sales, and then it'll be flat after that... I donno.

MGS has been a pretty popular series, though.

And Sony has been selling more PS3s with the recent deals and re-emergence of the 80GB. Folks need ghamez wit dat new triple.
 
Hai guys, who was the most difficult boss that you have ever faced in a game? I can't think of any recently, but when I was younger Psycho Mantis was a bitch for me. I didn't know about the controller trick since I was so young, and beat him the regular way. That took fucking forever.
 
Yea, what I'm more interested in however, isn't the day 1 sales for the game only.

I want to know the PS3 sales for June.

Just read that Arkanoid is a demo on the Nintendo Channel this week. Gonna have to nab that and see if I want to nab it or not. It looks slick, but I'm just not sure I want to use $20 on it. Space Invaders, though? Yes.
 
It's a shame...I absolutely loved MGS and it still stands as one of my favorite games of all time. I not that long ago tried to play 2 but I couldn't get into it. I still have it and 3 as well...but I'm not sure I will ever play them. I think the pacing is just too slow for me at this point. I'm not crazy about the long cut scenes either at this point. I am curious to see how well 4 does though.

I've started on Ninja Gaiden 2 and I'm really loving it. I know a lot of people don't like the camera but I'm not sure what the solution would be for a game that moves this fast. I'm not having issues although I'm only on Chapter 4.

I also haven't beaten the other MGSes and at this point I don't care that much.

But I have to get DBZ and NGII. Its gonna be HAWT

I haven't passed it yet, but for as much as I have gotten into it,
I wished they didn't end up killing him off, he's much more interesting than a whole lot of other characters ;(
 
I got Snatcher up and running. Now it's time for GGPO. Anyone know what time they usually put live arcade games up for sale. I'm up pretty late on my nights off since I work third shift.

It took me about 2 weeks of on-again, off-again trying, but I finally did it.

On a replay I have like 18 things to heal me ;)

Alma, was indeed a bitch. Lucky for me I knew she was going to be a bitch as I heard from various friend's so I stocked up on healing items. She killed me in about 10 seconds when I first battled her. :lol:

See, I dunno if the bundle will help at all... I honestly think that's just going to appeal to the existing MGS fans who happened to be waiting for MGS4 to buy a PS3. For the majority of people, I doubt it'll matter... it's not really a huge system-seller type of game like Halo or Smash Bros. is. Don't get me wrong, I think MGS kicks the shit out of either of those two series, but it doesn't carry anywhere near the mainstream appeal.

Honestly, given the fanbase for the PS3, the game being less than inviting to those who have never played an MGS game, and the fact that GTA 4 came out recently, I can't see the game selling well at all.

And that'd be a damn shame. I'll be doing my part, though.

Finally found someone from each signing event to help me out. (WHEW) !

EDIT: might try to get the LE from Europe too :x

No Medicom RAH figures for me though... not feeling them as much as I used to.
