See, I dunno if the bundle will help at all... I honestly think that's just going to appeal to the existing MGS fans who happened to be waiting for MGS4 to buy a PS3. For the majority of people, I doubt it'll matter... it's not really a huge system-seller type of game like Halo or Smash Bros. is. Don't get me wrong, I think MGS kicks the shit out of either of those two series, but it doesn't carry anywhere near the mainstream appeal.

Honestly, given the fanbase for the PS3, the game being less than inviting to those who have never played an MGS game, and the fact that GTA 4 came out recently, I can't see the game selling well at all.

And that'd be a damn shame. I'll be doing my part, though.
Well, he MGS4 bundle is selling alone because it has a DS3 and PS2 BC for now, which helps too (which could even lead to some non-MGS fans buying.

Most of my buddy list is buying it and many PS sites seem to be supportive over it. But then again, I do not expect massive sales in the states because MGS3 wasn't a big seller either. I do expect MGS4 to do well in Europe (where PS3 game sales are the strongest and where MGS3 performed the best last gen).

It's not a matter of being rich.. It is a matter of saving up money and making that bread... ya heard? You want something, gotta work and plan for it.

NES.

Was I supposed to get a bonus with my preorder of the LE version of MGS4 at Gamestop? I'm confused I keep seeing soundtracks and blu-rays, and what not. Someone fill me in.

Is true. If you plan how you're gonna spend your cabbage and don't buy Ipods, even a college student is able to buy lots and lots of games. Like me!

I can't buy as much as Markman, but... good enough.
