Killer 7 (PS2/GC) $20 at EB (PS2 used $13.50 AC)
is the GC version better? or do people just want it more because it's GC?
It was originally designed for the Cube's controller, but it works fine on either. Also, it might look microscopically better on Cube.

The Cube version is the better one - it does have better load times, but also the PS2 is very prone to slowdown when you kill multiple enemies at the same time. It uses a particle effect when enemies die that kills the PS2 if more than one occurs... It's still a great game though, even with those issues.

also, the reload animations in the cube version aren't in the ps2 version, iirc. and the Ps2 version is significantly jaggier.

this is easily the weirdest game this gen...yes, even weirder than katamari. 13.50 is a good price.

I just started this game yesterday (got it at k-mart for 15) it's easily one of the weirdest games I've ever played (yes I have played katamari). Doesn't seem like it would be for everybody.

Yes, Killer 7 for PS2 was part of the $10 sale at TRU. I went last week for the restocks and they still had a stack. I was thinking of getting it, but passed. If I go again, I may get 1 or 2 if there's any left if anyone would be interested in trading. Yeah, I'll probably get at least 1 new copy to put on my trade list - if there's not all gone when I go back. I often seem to pass on something I later realise is a good deal, and when go back to get 1, they're usually gone.

PS2 Killer 7 is also at 1 Comp USA on a 3 for $30 rack. However the price if you only buy 1 is around $27 and YMMV as not all the ones I went to had the 3 for $30 rack.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO PLAY THIS GAME.

There are very few games that I insist that you MUST experience, and this is at the top of the list. It's the weirdest, most politically driven and mature game I've ever played. It's simply something everyone must play at least once.
