Killzone 3 Helghast Edition 79.99 @ GS

Is their anyway to get this cheaper in store? I'm wondering if this is a clearance drop... and if so how long till the next markdown

It's really cheap plastic, saw the display in one of the stores. Similar to Pandora's Box from the GOW UE.

Damn, just picked it up from GS before I noticed this. Must have just happened cuz I checked it last night and it was still $130. Oh well, $4.80 in sales tax extra.

Don't know if this has been reported yet, but was at a gamestop today and saw that killzone 3 helghast edition price dropped down from $129.99 to $79.99. Shows the new price on Gamestop website as well. I wonder if these will drop down in price all the way to $30 like the God of War III pandora's box collectors edition I got at gamestop.;)
 
It seems that price to be the new msrp. Amazon had at for 60 when they put it on gold box sale and it was gone in like 3 mins.

And I think it can go down even further because Ive seen it more than enough for another drop
 
bought mine from amazon $60 deal the other day and regret it.

The bonus stuff just looks cheap........doesn't even compare to Halo 3/Reach L.E. stuff.

i believe the halo helmet was complete crap. Though the reach statue was obviously gonna be legit because it's made by McFarlane which makes great figures. The Helghast helmet is ok, definitely better than the halo one but not the best of quality, then again it's just for show so it doesn't need to be made out of the greatest stuff at the low price.

The killzone helmet and plastic figurine are sitting on my deck "airing" out. Shit has a weird plastic smell.

Seriously though, I was really disappointed w/ the helmet. The freakn eyes are yellow/orange.
 
The Scorpion figure in the MK:KE looks pretty good when I looked at it in the store. Very high quality compared to the junk in the Halo and Helghast ones.

idk it's 50/50. Bioshock LE, AC2 Master Assassin, and Halo Reach each had awesome statues, but then when they do weird displays like helmets(kz3, halo 3) or jack in the box from ACB they definitely are lacking. These days though i love CEs with full size art books(i hate the mini books and feel they are worthless) and a nice steelbook.

Do what I did. bought mine from Amazon deals for $59.99. Sold the helmet, action figure, and art book for $30 on craigslist the day that it arrived, making my Killzone 3 copy only $30. Sucks that it doesnt have a barcode, instead it says, NOT FOR RESALE, so i cant trade in that game on Amazon in the future. o well, ill keep it.

true good point. i guess it's all the CE's lately that have not really been all that impressive to me. the quality has gone down a bit as of late.
