It may have been at this price for a while butther is no gaurantee for the hat.

Thats game is kinda old so i personally dont wanna take a chance that i might not receive the hat.
 
The hat has been marked as "only available while supplies last" since the game was released though...
 
This deal may be old, but EB had raised the price to $39.99 for a good few months. I was frustrated for not ordering it at the beginning when it was $29.99; but now that time has passed and it's back down to $30, I'm not so sure I want it anymore. :?

compared to fighters like VF 4 I can tell you this game has no depth, I bought it for 20 a while back from KBtoys barely touched it.

No they didn't, it went to 30 and has stayed at 30.

I beg to differ. I was keeping my eye on this for awhile, waiting for it to drop back down to $30, but I lost interest after awhile. It was always $30 at GameStop, but EB had it jacked up to $40. I really wanted the hat, though, which is why GS was out. I can't tell you when or for how long it was at $39.99, but I know it lasted for at least a couple of months.
 
yeah, I kept an eye on it as well even though I bought it at EB during the $30 phase. It fell to $30 only for a few days before EB knocked it back up. This price is a deal if you think the hat's worth ~$10.

I almost bought just the hat on eBay for ~$10 during the $40 phase, since I'm not too hot for the game. I need a hat that I can wear in public, though, and I think I finally convinced myself that I just couldn't do that with Terry's hat. :p

Seriously though I dunno I don't think the hat is worth $10...my opinion though

I can't speak for EB, but I can vouch for GS having raised the price back up for a while. If I'm not mistaken, it was still $40 the last time I worked.
 
Theres someone at my EBGames who is always wearing that damn hat..... its weird, every time I go to EB I see the same person there.

It's nothing special, other than having Fatal Fury on the front. It's just a standard mesh ballcap. Now, if it had the metal plate on the front like Terry's original cap, THAT would kick ass.
 
I preordered the game to get the hat, and then cancelled the preorder. I have never opened the hat. I just wanted it only to have it.
 
Oh what a craptacular game this is. Just go to a store, ask for a hat and i'm sure they'll just give it to you. I've seen that move done many times already because they just wanna get rid of the damn things.

I had this game. I think it's the worst thing ever to go into my PS2. As a huge KOF fan, I gotta say this is truly unworthy garbage. I noticed a glitch where Athena's boobs jiggled like something was gonna hatch out of them (you'll see it in the profile menu) and knew I just had to trade it in for something decent.
