This April Fools thing was pretty mean of EGM. I've been hoping for Kingdom Hearts 3 to come out on the Wii with Nintendo characters and worlds in addition to Disney, and I was very excited that it was finally happening when I first saw the topic title.
Kingdom Hearts will never have Nintendo stuff in it. Why? Because that would be

ing retarded. The series is having such a hard time maintaining any sort of cohesiveness already (personally, I think it's already crossed the line in a few places), and adding in Link and Peach and Kirby and Mario would really not help with that at all. It will NEVER happen.
I don't mind stupid little April Fools jokes from EGM like Sonic and Tails being in Super Smash Brothers, but stuff like this, and Wind Waker being remade with the TP graphics engine isn't stuff they should be joking about.
Because Zelda and Kingdom Hearts are major serious business, and nothing to EVER be taken lightly. Right.
To anyone that's ever fallen for an April Fool's joke in a video game magazine, I have some prime ocean-front property in Kansas that I'll gladly sell real cheap. Guaranteed to triple in value over the next five years.
Seriously, the shop jobs that you see in EGM's April Fool's jokes aren't even as good as the stuff you see in one of SomethingAwful's Photoshop Phridays. How they fool anyone is beyond me.
What the

are you talking about? The Wii does not look better than a last-gen system.
OK, you're making the same stupid stupid mistake as panasonic did regarding the power of the PS2.
This isn't a debatable issue. Regardless of how Wii games have looked up to this point (a mere 3 month's into it's life), it IS a more powerful system. The numbers are not debatable, and you WILL start to see games that could not have been done on the Gamecube eventually. I doubt Mario Galaxy could have run as smoothly on the GCN, for one example. Many developers have been working more on gettin comfortable with the Wii's control setup, rather than pushing the graphics, but they will become more comfortable in time, and start make better-looking games.
As for KH on Wii, it'll have to wind up on Wii or more likely DS. Square is taking way too big of a hit on their FF13 project. So either KHIII winds up on NDS or Wii, OR we'll be seeing a port to 360 OR they go bankrupt and Square dies
Okay, seriously, what are you talking about? I'd like to know where you're getting all of this detailed information about Square-Enix's supposidly grim financials.
S-E has hundreds of millions in the bank. Maybe you haven't seen the sales figures for KHII and FFXII and their entire DS lineup, all of which have been massively profitable so far. Christ, they could probably sustain themselves for the rest of the year on the profits from Dragon Quest Monsters Joker and Dragon Quest VIII alone. What makes you think that they're so close to the edge of bankruptcy that they're barely even able to afford the production costs of the FFXIII games? Each of the PS3 FFXIII games are probably sailing along on budgets somewhere between 20 and 30 million, which is fairly typical for the average major next-gen game, and each game is practically guaranteed to gross, at the very least, a quarter of a billion bucks, if you count on sales of at least 5 million copies.
In summation, they can put KHIII anywhere they want, on a practically bottemless budget, and take it to whatever extremes they want. They're one of the biggest, and richest, developer/publishers in the business.
