"Here is the key with this promotion. I have done it and others have. You will probably get some resistance but you are allowed to do it.

1 - Buy a $50 GC OOP - receive $10 bonus card ----> $60 GC total
2 - Buy a $50 with 1st $50 - receive $10 bonus card -----> $70 GC total
3 - Buy a $50 with 2nd $50 - receive $10 bonus card ----> $80 GC total
4 - Buy a $50 with 3rd $50 - receive $10 bonus card ----> $90 GC total
5 - Buy a $50 with 4th $50 - receive $10 bonus card ----> $100 GC total
6 - Buy a $100 with 5th $50 and 5 $10 bonus cards - receive 2 $10 bonus card --> $120GC"

Also note you can buy gift cards for other stores with Kmart gift cards (such as Sears). - YMMV with that, but Ive done it w/o a problem.

Yesterday I purcahsed 35 $50 gift cards and received 35 $10 gift cards free.

I now have $2100 in Kmart gift cards to spend.

I did not try to buy with another gift card. I was just happy getting $350 in free money.

Going to be waiting in line with family members for Wii's on Sunday to spend the gift cards on.
With anything that is left over I plan on buying a few gift cards to restaraunts. I hope they allow me to purchase those gift cards.

Just buy prepaid Amex cards with anything left over and then you can spend it where you want on what you want.
 
Yeah, the gift card deal is over. Am I the only crazy bastard who bought $400 worth of $50 gift cards to get $80 in gift cards free?
I'm going to buy a PS3 on Saturday and get the $25 MIR. It'll be my second PS3! One in Japan, one in America. Think I'll make a video about it and post it on the internets.
 
I didnt go that crazy.. I did manage to get $60 in GC with around $100 out of pocket (buying GC with GC), but I spent $10 of it at Sears yesterday. Still have a $50 GC left, just waiting on a good special.
 
I bought 400 dollars worth to get 80 so your not the only one. I had to buy another 360 because my second one is freezing but not giving me the red lights so microsoft wanted to charge me 100 to fix it. Glad this deal came along when it did maybe ill buy rockband with the gift cards.
 
I bought the 40 gig because of the $25 rebate, but the rebate requires me to cut out the original UPC label. This is in conflict with the 5 free Blu-ray rebate because it also requires you to send in the original UPC label.
I've alreayd e-mailed Kmart to complain, but did not get a reply yet.

Anybody else notice this? Are there 5 Blu-ray rebates that only require you to send in the receipt and not the UPC lable so I can get the damn $25 off?:hot:

Just a YMMV. The local k-mart will not allow you to spend the $10 GC on the same day it is purchased. I remember that fronm last time they has this deal. After seeing this thread, I understand why!

Quick question before I go get my cards....Will they force a limit of 1 $10 card per transaction? Can I use those cards to put the remaining balance on 1 regular card?

Agreed. I just can't bring myself to do something as stupid as asking to buy a gift card with a gift card.
