KMart is not alone in employees not being clear on freebie promos. The issues we're having this week with the prints aren't any different from what people have reported in the past. I think it's way off the mark to suggest that KMart is going to stop offering freebies now or to even decide the promotion to be a failure. Since the registers deduct the value of the print from the price automatically, this is no different from any other promo the employees don't know about -- just say nothing and let the register do the work.

It is confirmed, the extra $5 coupon can be used on any EA Sports game released (or releasing) this year and can stack with the $20 coupon that comes with Madden as well.

I am new here, just want to register and thanks Kmart Gamers for excellent deals on Deus Ex even spending like 30 minutes to get things done. I was able to use the $5 off coupon too.

But I can't believe a store in NYC only received 6 total copies of Augmented Edition and less than 20 total copies of the game, the worst thing was even manager didn't know how to use the computer to check any inventory, that caused a lot of time to search the items...

Seriously? Feel fortunate. Most of us got "0" copies of the Augmented edition and 4 each of standard for 360 and PS3

That warhammer space marine demo was really good.

I don't see myself buying at $60 but first chance I get at $30 or so I really want that game.

Josh, will there be any price drops on Batman Arkham Asylum anytime soon? My store doesn't have the GOTY version unfortunately, but the regular version is still $30. I would love to pick it up for $15 or even $20.

Which store? Got mine from Penn Station without any issue except 5 attempts to get the poster.

Does the regular edition come with the preorder code or just the augmented edition?

Josh has stated many times, games don't come on the normal truck with other stock. They come via UPS/FedEx in their own boxes.
 
Well, one of my buds is going apeshit over how good Deus Ex is... he is a huge fan of the first (i am explicitly not mentioning the second). I can't ignore that praise. So I will stop there this weekend and see if there's a copy waiting for me. Back on the coupon gravy train!

Posting this in the thread serves no purpose - emailing the man at corporate (the address is in the first post of this thread) who is willing and able to help and also able to contact the store's manager directly and set them straight will.

In fact, he's shown in the past that if you miss a deal due to store incompetence he is very likely(but i'm not saying what he will or won't do) to compensate you with a gift card for the coupon value or even extra for you trouble/bad experience.

Please stop posting your questions over and over until they are answered. Josh sometimes reveals older game deals like this before they happen but usually you have to wait until the weekly ad post comes out or it gets leaked.

He may be planning something with Arkham City but he's not going to reveal that until just before launch to avoid competitor's matching it.

A quick question about Dark Souls - will you be able to buy the collector's edition with the guide at kmart?

It says that there is a free upgrade to the collectors for pre-orders. I'd like to get it from kmart but if they won't have the CE version i'd have to go somewhere else, unfortunately.

I saw it mentioned in the thread but no certain answer on this.
 
The_ZZ, each and every time you keep reposting questions over and over again until they're answered within a small time frame (and you wonder why people ignore you :roll:) I feel like reporting you each and every time you make that post. :) Seriously, man, ask the question once and if people know it/want to answer it they'll do it. If it's been like a couple days and no one has answered then ask it again but stop asking stuff hours between each one. It's annoying.

The one on Broadway and E 9th ST. I went there like 11 am on Tuesday, and no game was on shelf. The staff had no idea about the game. After I showed them the copy of Kmart Gamer promotion page, they finally agreed to search the storage room. I just couldn't believe the stock they have was that low: one box, less than 20 copies...

There was no pre-order code (I believe Kmart not doing preorder at all now), just a image print as freebie.

It is perfectly fine if you want to ask a question. Ask away! Just don't constantly spam the same post/question over and over again in a short period of time frame. All that does is clutter and annoy both other users and most likely Josh also.

There have been cases of people getting banned for spamming the boards (among other things) so really just take this as a friendly heads up to maybe be more considerate to others around you. Like I said, we are not telling you to stop asking questions (asking is cool), just don't do it over and over again.

I know Josh takes questions via email also, so it doesnt hurt to ask a question once on the forums and then shoot josh a single email for an answer. Sometimes you have to be patient ;)
