Yes. As long as it's over $40 BEFORE you use a coupon, you're good.

The total BEFORE taxes must be over the value of the coupon. For example, if your coupon is for $20, you must buy at least $20 worth of gaming merchandise. (i.e. you cannot use a $20 coupon on one $19.99 game.)
You must present coupons before making payment, and redeeming points is a form of payment.

Whew. Caught up on the entire thread, and I'm not even interested in MW3. Today's successes and difficulties made for a great read, though, even if I had to roll my eyes so many times at the redundant questions and, even worse, the occasional blatantly false answers...

Glad to see the confirmation that all coupons can be used on next week's promotion, too.

Thanks for all the work this year, Josh! The only new releases I bought through sources other than KMart this year were Catherine and Disgaea 4.

Looks like I'll be the annoying customer that gets stuff rung up in multiple batches.
Modern Warfare + Skyrim + something that's 20 bucks (50 dollar coupon #1) = 110.
Then AC3 & Saints Row & something that's 20 bucks (110 - 50 coupon = 60 dollars, and getting another 50 dollar coupon).
Then buy Metal Gear Collection with the coupon.

So for 170 bucks, it's:

Metal Gear Collection
Two 20 dollar games (prob psp).

Does anyone know if k-mart has received their shipments of skyrim yet? I want to be sure that k-mart has it for friday since they are awful with games that are not released on a tuesday

The $50 coupon and the b1g1 half off promos are not going on at the same time. $50 coupons on $110 purchase ends saturday, b1g1 begins sunday. I think your post was suggesting that you could use both deals at the same time, just wanted to set it straight. Either is still a good deal though, enjoy all your new games!

I asked this a few pages back. A poster who works at a kmart says their store already has their copies, so it should be the same everywhere

I'm really not trying to be a jerk, but please tell us how on earth you came to the conclusion that this would work. Someone else thought the same thing yesterday so I'm truly perplexed how anyone can think this.

That's weird, I'd ask about it. I emailed KmartGamerHelpMe last night and asked if Skylander's Starter Pack(69.99) would work toward the $110/$50 coupon deal and got this response today.

Yeah. I'm guessing they were thinking the thread was just talking about the standard edition? Kmart isn't carrying the Limited Edition of the game. If they WERE, I'd have got it from them and not Amazon.
Kmart IS carrying the standard edition of the game for $49.99 though. Limited numbers, though, so people shouldn't lollygag about waiting on that one.

Also, I LOVE how many people don't grab the concept of a calendar and think the B1G1 1/2 off is going on at the same time as the coupons. Check the dates on the offers, folks.

Next week and a half of Kmart buying is going to be frickin INSANE...
Friday: Pick up LEGO Harry Potter and some other misc. games to get to $110 for another set of coupons.
Sunday: Mario 3D Land
Tuesday: Some combination of Rayman, Halo and potentially Need for Speed. I still hate that Halo is the ONLY $40 game in the BOGO offer. That's missed savings! Might just grab NFS with Rayman and buy Hola Anniversary separately.
Following Sunday: Zelda Controller Bundle

And that doesn't even factor in Saint's Row from Amazon and Skyrim from GameStop for the Limited Editions....

No. The $15 gaming coupon promo ends saturday. The b1g1 50% off begins sunday. Not being rude, but this was answered on this very page.

For all those people complaining about posters asking redundant questions, then just don't read them or just leave the thread alone please as it's bound to happen.

Most of the questions, especially those regarding the BOGO deal, are not in the sticky. If the receipt CLEARLY, says one thing, people want to be sure. Some of us have had some experiences with K-Marts coupons: didn't print, denied, etc.

Outside of K-Mart Gamer, there really is no type of actual confirmation until day numero uno. I think people are repeating questions to test the validity of what's being said. I noticed that one the official blog, League of One does not specifically confirm it 100%. He says, it SHOULD work, NOT it WILL work. There's a plain difference and you can see it in his wording. If something goes wrong at check out, LoO gets off because he did not state that exactly.

Yes, some people don't read the stickies, but this is a very weird deal where we are getting information from a blogger who's not with us in person. Granted when I'm at the register and don't get it, I don't have anyone to back me up. Most people that work at K-Mart don't know about the blog and it's exclusive deals. Believe me, I know. If something goes terribly wrong, Customer Service is going to say "Well, it's not in the ad".

I just checked the OP and other than 1 item (whether coupons work on B1G1/2 -- which I just added) everything you need to know is there.

I propose a new rule: anyone who answers a question that's answered in the OP should be flogged. Lazy noobs will never learn if you just answer their questions over and over.

I understand that the BOGO works with coupons but my local kmart employees always have a hard time with understanding the coupon thing. Is there something i can show them to prove that it works so i dont sit there for an hour arguing with them and walk out empty handed?

I agree. Why should people be rewarded for ignoring what is already there?
On most forums I have been on, if you go into a topic and post without bothering to read the OP, you get berated. It doesn't happen as much here, but maybe it should. It shows an obvious lack of caring towards anything in the thread; you have a question and you want it answered and anything else can fuck off.
I do agree with the BOGO thing not appearing in the OP (until now, thanks confoosious), so maybe people would like to know, but if they read anything on the last couple pages, they would have an answer. If you just open the thread, click 'New Post,' and ask a question, ignoring anything that is already in the thread, why would we expect you to come back and read the answer?

It's expected that with a new deal and one this big, there will be an influx of questions, but why is that? Why is it not expected that people should read the OP?

I've always took the 'Not valid on BOGO events' wording on the coupons to mean Buy One Get One Free, which there have not been many of. So I never really worry when some deal comes along that is tied to a purchase, because it works every time.

Sounds like a good idea, but anyone who gets voted in needs to have thick skin, because they are going to get a lot of 'retarded, wise-ass, virgin' comments thrown their way.

The best thing to do is not try to talk shop about the deal with them. Unless they take the coupon from you and scrutinize the wording, just mention nothing to them, hand them the coupon after the total the purchase up, and it should work. If you start talking about it to them, it will just complicate things. Or at least that seemed to be many people's experiences in the beginning of the Kmart deals anyway.

If they do start reading the coupon and want to give you a hassle, just tell them, "Hey, try it out. If it doesn't accept it, then it is what it is." Most people should try it, because most people would jump at the chance to prove someone else wrong. Just be polite with them though.

I just love how instead of reading the OP to get an answer, someone finds it preferable to sit down and type up a question and then wait for someone else to type up an answer and respond, when they could in most cases find the answer immediately.
People say all the time that everyone these days think that they are entitled to everything and want everything now now now, but people with Kmart gaming questions sure have some patience.
 
Anybody know if my girlfriend could use my SYWR Card and my coupons? I'm thinking it would depend on the cashier if they would allow a female to use a card that a male's information pops up from. I'm working tomorrow and she offered to pick up the games I want. I looked it up on on the SYWR Faq and couldn't find an answer. Thanks in advance.
 
Figured I would try and help someone near Robinson,PA out. Was at my Kmart at closing and they had 1 copy of Modern Warfare Hardened for the Xbox.
Also had two 4000 cards and one 12 months card. I remember seeing someone in Robinson, PA area post, about their Kmart not receiving any. This is about 20-25 minutes from Robinson and instead of a lurker getting it, I would rather have someone that regularly adds to this thread to get a shot. So if you are interested PM me. Andrew told me last week this particular store was only receiving 2 for Xbox and 0 for PS3. I wanted it for the PS3. So they only sold 1 all day, and i bet it was an employee that I know is a gamer. He is always there when I get all major releases.

Oh and decided to check the other Kmart near me, usually don't as its literally in the busiest part of the city surrounded by tons of retail and they had a hardened edition for 360. This was like 10 minutes before they closed, 10 feet from a Best Buy which sold out at midnight last night..... when you wish upon a star....
 
Hey, just thought I'd throw out that on the 1st page it says Homefront is on sale for 29.99 and it is actually 19.99 or at least it was at my local store when I was there earlier. A SALE tag, not clearance.

Used my $15 coupon from awhile ago that expires this week to pick it up for $5. Not a bad deal at all.... :cool:

I would think this wouldn't be a issue. The cards were made to give points. My wife and I use the same account. And my patents give them my phone number when they shop there.
Don't mind the extra points.
So I say as long as you tell your girlfriend thanks there won't be any problems.
