Kmart.com probably has the worst website/customer service of any other retailer by 100miles easily.

I have had more then a few issues within the last few weeks with their CS both through emails,phone calls AND online chat. I don't know if being in India can be used as an excuse either as lots of companies use india for their service reps and I have never came close to the insane amount of screw ups with Kmart.com
Its a awfull experience.

FYI i never ever shop at Kmart and the issues the last few weeks just gives me more reasons not to even go their ever again, As soon as I can get rid of these 100k points I wont be back ever again.

This post is completely skippable. Anyway went to Kmart and there are 0 copies of Black Ops for PS3 or Xbox. For shame.

However I did use $25 in coupons to grab the only Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY edition for PS3 for $5 which is awesome. It's the actual version! Whee.
 
Just wanted to say FRANK in electronics in the Brick, NJ store is very helpful and knowledgeable. He even found a 1600 MS points card put in the wrong place after it looked like the store was out.

Reflex should not still be $50..

Also there's some older DS games that could move at $20 that still sit at $30 in stores. Just a suggestion.

LOL my Kmart has @ least 10 copies of Dragon Quest Joker Monsters. There's a copy of Castlevania Order of Ecclesia that I've been eyeing...some good deals on older DS games to be found w/ coupons.

If I wanted to spend my $15 Epic Mickey coupons this way I figure I could score all 3 Professor Layton games for about $45 after coupons.

Yeah it just seems like they'd want to move those loads of DS games they have in stock, especially with the 3DS on the horizon.

Then again, I'm not an electronics buyer for a major national retailer, so what do I know?

Also I noticed amazon has CoD Reflex for $20 so I bought it.

no monopoly streets?

so how are we supposed to know which games kmart is going to carry? costco, amazon, and i bet walmart and target carry this game. this seems silly to get coupons and plan on using for a certain games only to find out kmart will not carry it in-store. if this is the case then we should be allowed to use the coupons online.

are we going to get a list of what games you have decided not to carry in-store? seems like that would be a help for planning future coupon use.
 
Got Michael Jackson Experience and the $15 coupon printed out without an issue. Awesome! They even had one of the LE Glove versions left... my daughter is going to be so happy! And I'm happy too since I spent 10 bucks on the whole affair. Now I have $25 in coupons for Super Mario All-stars.
 
So I went into my store on black Friday trying to find Mass Effect 2 to use my $5 coupon I got from WOW the previous day for a cool $4.99 game. No copies to be found, and I had nothing else I wanted to use the coupon on so it went to waste. Went today for something else, and there were four copies of ME2 lying out in the open. Hmm.

Yeah, I am not sure why they don't make it easier to get a replacement item when they're the ones who shipped the wrong item in my package. How they got Barbie mixed up with a board game is beyond me.

Yup, you get both the $10 and $15 coupons. I just picked up Golden Sun and White Knight Chronicles 15 minutes ago, and received both.

I believe it does. I just got back from purchasing Golden Sun and White Knight Chronicles, and my receipt shows that both coupons should have printed. Unfortunately, and I only noticed this once I got to my car, only the $15 coupon was in my bag. I went back to the electronics department to see if the employee there had accidentally trashed it (she was an older lady who didn't normally staff that section and seemed a bit confused), and sure enough she did. But not only did she trash it, she tore it up too! Needless to say, I fired off an email to Josh as soon as I got home. Hopefully he'll be able to help me.

Anyways, yes, both coupons *should* print out - just make sure one doesn't get thrown away.

Not to defend her per se, but most of the time the second print out is the Dish Network offer. Just something to watch out for, I don't think it was intentional.
 
So how about some discounts on Greatest Hits/Platinum Hits? =D
I mean after this Black Friday I totally loaded up on a ton of PS3 games for only $10 each, but I'm really wanting to pick up Resistance 1&2 for cheap cheap!

No. I didn't want to be the guinea pig and be unable to return the second game. I would've done it with DQIX but they didn't have it in stock.

(He wasn't saying his had an 11/29 date on it as you seem to have interpreted it). The ones I have all have 11/28 as a starting date and I'm 99% sure everyone else's says that too.

So you can buy Golden Sun + a $15 game (for example) and get both the $10 for GS and the $15 for $39.99+? I wasn't going to pick up that game just yet, but now I might just do it!
 
Having just got a DSi this is a great way to get some games for it. I am still pissed about both K-marts not having it out though. After $15 Epic Mickey, I will have picked up Golden Sun Dark Dawn and Dragon Quest IX for $37.50 + tax and hopefully come away with 25$ in coupons. How awesome is that?!

Most like very limited in select Kmarts only. I made sure I was getting a copy by messaging Stock Boy with my Kmart store number. But yeah, always message him if you're interested in a CE as they can be very limited for Kmart.

It's mind boggling she tore up the coupon. Even *if* she thought it was a Dish Network offer, how does that scenario go exactly? "Oh, fuck, goddamn Dish network offer, I gotta tear this shit up before the customer sees this!"

:lol: I didn't want to be the guinea pig either, especially with the three gaming coupons I can use this week and find out that the 15 dollar gaming coupon didn't spit out. My only concern is now that the half off deal for DGIX will somehow cancel out the 15 dollar gaming coupon, but I don't think that sort of thing has happened before. Usually the specific restrictions are well documented in the OP.

My store got 4 CE copies, and about 20-25 of the normal edition. I guess we are considered a low volume store game-wise and didnt get any LE or Prestige edition Black Ops, so I'm guessing all stores will get at least around 4...

I need to return a game I purchased at Kmart. I used a $20 coupon on this purchase. When I make the return, do I get the full $50 back, or just what I paid in cash and lose the coupon value?

If I do get the full $50 back, does the $20 reprint as a coupon?

You only get back what you paid, once you've used a coupon it's gone for good.

Am I the only person who gets violently pissed off by these SYWR emails? Every day I get an offer for say a 79" tv retail $12,000 chimney buster special price of $3.12!! (3 available at this price).

Why would you bother? I can see 3 per store but online is a joke. I guess it fits Kmarts normal shit on everyone business approach. Good luck with that. :)


Why bother even trying to grow the online business at all? Amazon will rape you! I ordered one game: Mass Effect 2 on friday and paid for shipping, says I should have it by Dec 7th. Amazon FREE shipping and items from Saturday orders are already in my house. Not to mention most people, not me, don't pay tax so everything is even cheaper. I would have cancelled the order but when Amazon PMed your deal but I didn't see anywhere to cancel an order online just to call the 800#. You seriously wanna fight that battle? Focus your energy on improving the stores and maybe give raises to attract better workers.

You can try glyde.com to sell the game and try and get back more than you paid, but it all depends on what game it is really for the value to be higher.

I find it hard to believe that any actually sold for that price, I waited for a TV at $98 but the instant the clock hit they were gone already.

Exactly! Even if it was legit you get 5 happy customers and say thousands of people with a bad taste in their mouth hitting refresh... Good idea?

At work last week some lady came in talking about that tv and was like I'm going to get one... She came back that night upset not understanding what happened she was THERE damn it! :)

This is how Amazon did a lot of their Black Friday deals a couple years ago and many customers were pissed off they missed out. And just think, Amazon often had hundreds/thousands available at the Doorbuster price while Sears only has 5 sometimes :lol:
