The Kobe drama continues...

The transcript of the initial police interview got leaked to the media.
http://www.denverpost.com/Stories/0,1413,36~28682~2407461,00.html

I'll see if I can find a link to the actual transcript, but this is the highlight I heard on the radio on the way in to work. The bruises on the girl's neck are due to Kobe "choking" her from behind during sex. He called it his signature sexual position. He also told investigators to call his other fling in NY to verify this.
Edit: Here is the entire transcript, with some audio:

Also heard that the accuser is now pregnant and plans on having the baby and sticking with the boyfriend. I can't find a link to that yet, but am still looking.

What a shaq-fu'in soap opera.

I hope that dude dumps her. How weak is that? She fucks a complete stranger (I know he's a celebrity, but still a damn stranger) and now plans on having and keeping the child, and she just assumes that her boyfriend will be cool with that?

"The bruises on the girl's neck are due to Kobe "choking" her from behind during sex. He called it his signature sexual position."

Ohhhh, well then that makes it ok to choke women then.

I don't think shes pregnant with Kobe's kid since she was raped in June 03.

I hope someone shoots Kobe, I hate rapists more than I hate anything else in the world. Maybe we can get Jayson Williams to do it, since you can't convict black athletes in this country.

There is no doubt in my mind that he's guilty and honest to god I hope he dies.

Kobe REALLY needs to have a talk with Magic Johnson. Now.

Being a black athlete has nothing to do with Kobe getting off. Being wealthy and lucky as hell is what did. The fact the girl was a mental case helped him big time.

Rae Carruth didn't get off for having people murder his pregnant wife.

I can't believe how arrogant he's being about the whole issue. It's his "signature position"? Call his other fling to verify? I hope he gets everything coming to him. Karma is a bitch, and he's on her bad side right now.

Rae Carruth wasn't that good.

I should have clarified my previous statement. Its not black athletes, its rich and famous black athletes. Money will get you out of a lot of things in this country, but being a famous and successful black athlete helps a lot.

Look at how many people will refuse to even consider that he might be guilty just because he's Kobe.

This is why women should be wary of marrying athletes. Star athletes in particular. I am sure there are some decent guys (Kurt Warner's story is particularly touching) but too many want it all.

Kobe had an incredible wife and it wasn't enough. If he wanted to lead a bachelor's life he shouldn't get married. I absolutely DESPISE people who cheat on spouses. There is NEVER an excuse for it. NEVER.

Wonder if Kobe told his wife that there was another woman that he was having regular sexual relations with. He was under the assumption that the transcript would never be released so he may have kept that from her.
Looks like he will be buying another fat diamond ring sometime soon.

Attack him for being black, rich, and famous all you want, I still haven't seen any evidence to prove that this isn't more than a money scam by this chick, or have we all forgotten about the Multi-Million dollar civil suit that is now coming to bat since she is basically dismissing the criminal suit now, an the only reason being is she doesn't have any real evidence.

I have to agree... More athletes do that than you'd think... I'd say the majority of married athletes do.

If I were her, I'd take this transcript and go for half the cash.

Women will continue to marry/date athletes as long as they continue to have big bankrolls. It's not about love, it's all about how much money they can latch onto.

Yeah, Rae was average but the point is he was convicted.

Oh, I'll consider Kobe may be guilty. Heck, I am black and I think OJ killed Nicole Brown. But it's different when she pulls out from the main trial but still goes ahead with the civil case. That is a red flag. Either way, Kobe is an ass for cheating on his wife and whether he raped that girl or not he should have known better.

No one is attacking him for being black, or being rich and famous. Thats the problem with these people, they'll take the accusations and say its because they're black or rich.

Excuse me, but have you seen the evidence? Do you know anything about rape cases? First of all, she has plenty of reason to stop the criminal trial, like the blatant character assassination and smear campaign by the Kobe defense team, the death threats, the constant harrassment, not to mention people hired by the Kobe defense team that follow her, spy on her, and leak her supposedly secret safe location.

Lets take a look at the evidence. We have bruising on the neck, which would indicate that she was being restrained. We have a witness who saw her running out of the room crying immediately after it happened. Then theres the "physical evidence". Basicly, the type of tearing and damage to the vagina during rape is simply not possible during even the roughest of consentual sex. When a woman is aroused, they lubricate, and this type of damage does not occur. If shes as big a slut as she's made out to be by the Kobe team, she should have been able to handle it just fine if it was consentual. This type of damage is *only* possible through rape.

Take the time to educate yourself on the facts of this case and about what happens to people when they are raped. Also, even if she did have sex with her boyfriend soon after, it is a common occurance for rape victims to do that. Most don't, but its common.

But it's different when she pulls out from the main trial but still goes ahead with the civil case.
If the trial were in a bigger city, with a competent prosecutor, with even a tenth the resources the Kobe team has at their disposal, they would have had a conviction. These small town prosecutors are garbage. I don't blame her for pulling out after all the crap Kobe's lawyers put her through. Its also been a huge financial expense for her to go as far as she did in the criminal case. She's had to move from place to place, basicly live on the road, because Kobe's people kept outing her. Neither she or her parents could probably hold a job in that situation.

Remember back when this first started, when she was supposed to be anonymous? How long did that last?

Well I don't know her personally but, I wouldn't be shocked if there was tearing just because she is half his size and bruises I think are pretty common, hell I get them from my gf after sex. And who knows about the witnesses I heard that there were none but whatever my ear ain't that close to the story.
There is no doubt in my mind that he's guilty and honest to god I hope he dies.
If she was raped than why did she fuck her boyfreind before reporting it?

She had sperm from two different people inside her.

He had sex with a sleazy whore, but he did not rape her.

Did I not just say that it is a common occurance for rape victims to sleep with their boyfriend immediately after?

How can you say he didn't rape her when the preponderance of the evidence says otherwise?

Bruising on the neck from being held down by the neck? Thats common?

I told you. Tearing happens, but there are certain kinds of damage that is only done during a rape.

Look how many people assume he's guilty without hearing more than 10% of the evidence, none of the testimony or have any idea what really happened..... that's called ignorance.

Rae Carruth or Kobe?

There are two sides to the fame factor. Some people will assume your innocent no matter what, and some people will assume you're guilty only having heard the allegation. Fame doesn't always help you, and sometimes can hurt you, but money always helps you.

Considering all of that is fair game in the civil trial that she is still proceeding with, it does make it seem like she is just going after his money. If she was so concerned about all of that, why wouldn't she just drop both trials. Especially considering the rape shield law won't apply to a civil case.

If that is true, that is a VERY good point.
The law sure didn't do much for the accuser during the criminal trial either.

1. Kobe's wife didn't dump him after this.
2. The rape victim didn't go through with pressing charges.

Lesson of the Day: women like it when (rich)men treat them this way.

The law may not have helped, but the point is that it will only be worse a t a civil trial.

I'm not saying it didn't but one of the main things the accuser said was that she didn't want the attention. If the rape shield law doeasn't apply, that means any info, pictures, and whatnot would be everywhere. If she can go through that for the civil case, then why not the criminal trial? She must have known she would lose the criminal trial. That's my only point.

I am not sticking up for Kobe (I actually never could stand him).

All true. The real question is why did Kobe feel the need to tap some skank?

Posted the full transcript. This is the part that kills me:

Detective Loya: Is this, I don’t mean to offend you in any way but is this a habit of yours, that you cheat on your wife?
Detective Winters: Has this ever happened before?
Bryant: Um, yes, with one other person. And she could actually testify I do that um, I do the same thing, I hold her from the back, I put my hands (inaudible).
Detective Loya: And who’s that other person?
Bryant: (inaudible) Her name is Michelle. (Inaudible).
Detective Loya: And this is somebody you frequent or one time incident or ...?
Bryant: No. She’s a, she’s a frequent (inaudible)

If his wife sticks around she's an idiot.
