I missed the nerf to Randuin's Omen. When I first started playing, it was 400 HP, 90 armor, and 15% CDR. It's become incredibly useless now with the exception of the active.
 
Well, that's it! I'm now 63W:65L. Played two matches today using the LFP chat in-game. Teamed with straight lvl 30s. Had an alright team each game, but both were just slaughter fests.

I don't even know how it's possible for a Mundo to feed the other team... 2-14-2 Mundo... it's absurd.

I'm also gaining some serious hate for Tryndamere. Spins right through my wall, slows me and proceeds to behead Anivia.
 
I was looking at red posts on the LoL forums. Some on Xin are hilarious. First, an intern said he was nerfed because he rapes low ELO players. Then a higher up, (Xephyrous or however you spelled it), said he was nerfed because there's no way to counter him in a 1v1 situation. Cause there's a 1v1 map, right?

Honestly, I don't think the Xin nerfs are anywhere near as bad as what some people are making it out to be, but Riot's rationale is just as stupid.
 
I'm really.. really starting to dislike this game.

I just got paired with a premade group of 4 lvl 30s in a Co-op match. They did nothing to assist me the entire game. They didn't even speak with me, but they did talk amongst themselves. When we moved in a group of five and one enemy champion came, they all jumped on it UNLESS if it was attacking me, then they all fled. Even at full health just so I had to solo it or die.

My lane partner enjoyed throwing me to the wolves too. Never once attempted to save me from attacks, just stood watching in a bush every single time Nunu and Cho chased me down. I had to build Veil and Hourglass early just to stop myself from dying over and over.

When I asked for a blue buff, they immediately went to take it for themselves. Lux with Blue, I can understand. Jarvin taking both blue spawns after asking for assistance multiple times? ...

Still, time was really going up. At the 52minute mark, we (and by that, I mean me) broke the center lane and started attacking the Nexus turrets. The enemies were all scattered and running back. I broke both of the turrets solo and had at the Nexus. As the enemies returned, I went to the top lane and started attacking the base turret to get a few hits in.

I died a miserable death. But the Nexus was half way done, and our minions were swarmed all over it.

Mission Comple...

They pulled a surrender vote, their 4 votes for was enough for it to end the game. And the Bots win.

And in the stats screen, they just jeeringly say the "bots were too tough for us."

Nooooo....

Mundo couldn't no longer dodge the direct nerf bat. Before he was only hit with item nerfs.

The whole nerf most of the tanks and tank items really just makes tanks even more team dependent, which really makes it even more pointless to play solo que as a tank.

Again I assume this has to do with high ELO play, but aren't high ELO players the ones who know the game well and can take advantages of all the small imbalances?

I've seen a lot of people complain about this game and I've never seen a single person ever blame a loss on Randuin's Omen.

The only good things I see about the patch are the Cass and Maoki buffs, and the Singed Ult change. And lol just noticed they nerfed Shen's ult . Damn that Shen for trying to do his job and protect his teammates!!!
 
I cant wait until all the champions don't even attack anymore and all you can do is walk around. Seriously, they nerf one group down, then another group pops up that's OP due to the previous nerf, so they nerf that other group. Seems really, really dumb to me. They desperately need a new team in there to balance things the right way.
 
Riot is clearly pretty wet behind the ears in terms of balance fixes -- but I still appreciate them for making a playable and free game, that's together enough to be fair and enjoyable.

Until DotA 2 comes out. I think they are just trying to cash in with this absurd amount of new champs coming in all the time before the game loses steam. The balance situation is so volatile yet they have no issues throwing in a new champion every week.
 
Their problem is they do hard nerfs and small buffs. There are some champs that aren't viable. Nasus' Wither is wrecked by Merc Treads. Wither gains more slow over it's duration, but Merc Treads reduces it's duration so it's not as effective. Yet the only thing they've done on him is a movement speed increase and the +3 on Siphoning Strike (an overrated buff, IMO). Then there's Jax. I think he should be re-worked since he's too reliant on dodge. They're never going to make them better with buffs, they're just going to nerf current champs to be closer to their level while they release new champs who will be OP in comparison.
 
Jesus Christ. I hopped on at 3PM when servers were originally going to be up and it said they extended it to 4PM. I jump on at 4, its extended to 5. I go to get on now and its bumped to 6:30.

I tried to patch, but it never works without uninstalling/reinstalling. Last patch at my home computer took an over to troubleshoot. I wanted to try the other methods but of course the forums were done.

This time, one uninstall/reinstall worked. But I have a 80 min wait time. Sucks a lot for me since I don't have my PS3 in my dorm, I usually just mess around on LoL when I'm bored.

It's days like these that remind me to never spend a penny more on Riot Points.

God, fuck Riot. Got in twice but had errors. I've spent like the last hour just re-logging. My friends and I finally get in together, start a game, but connecting wigs out so now two of the five of us are waiting another 30 minutes to log back in.

1) Look at my rune page when its up, i got a page specifically for him!

2) I dont play 3v3, only 5v5 :(

3) You can kill anyone in the lane really. You eat ranged people for breakfast though. Ive dominated all my lane opponents so far. Morde and Corki were the best though. Killed Morde 3 times and made Corki cry

4) THREE doran rings, merc tread, sunfire, glacial shroud. That is my core. It can change if they are heavy AP. After that, tankie items

5) Usual tankie items

6) Ult is a god. 20% reduction on damage. Yes please! Throw it down around your team in a fight. Use it to finish enemies. It does damage even without absorbing any, so if you want to finish someone off, turn it on then off, and if they are in the circle they will get hurt.

7) I always get sapling first. I guess if you want a big level 1 gank, you can choose to get his W (his hold) first. But saplings let you scout ahead.

8) What is Maokai's favorite subject in school? Gee-Im-a-tree



9/0/21 works fine for him. Ignite/ghost or ignite/flash

Combos: E (if it sapling hits when its thrown), W, Q. They will eat a shitload of damage in the lane from it.

Combos: W, E, Q. This makes sure the E hits them on its way down, and your slow makes it so they dont escape the E.

Make sure to throw the sapling where you expect them to be since you throw it and it takes like 1 sec to get there.

Saplings are your key to success in lane. Cant land it, you wont harass.

Best lane opponents: Someone who spams abilities since you heal your hp after so many abilities are used.

Solo top line is fine, but at first its better to get a laning partner so you learn him.

Anyone that can burst is your best lane buddy and you will get many kills with them since you can root, slow, and 20% damage reduction.

Oh. I go R>E>Q>W

I run out of mana really fast, so maybe you can get a tear or chalice, i never tried those items. But 3 Doran rings in the lane is a MUST, faster the better.

Team fights is where i run out of mana usually

Why no love for 3 v 3 D:? I really dislike 5 v 5. The only benefit of it for me are the added monster buffs.

...Three Dorian Rings? Do you get all three right away, or do you work in boots after the first?

What are usual tankie items xD? The only tank I've ever played before was Amumu, and I built HoG Omen and Wriggles - which both just got nerfed.

The code got changed to left, right, left, right, down, down, up, up, 3, 4. It works, but it doesn't make much of a difference.

The wait time right now isnt bad. I'm down to four minutes now.
 
I asked my friends why they don't want to play games that are more demanding than LoL -- because based on hours spent on LoL we could actually be playing a more intense game which IMO is more fun as you're always progressing (Starcraft, Counter-Strike, Street Fighter, etc...)

They got mad =[. I guess people just need that instant satisfaction of winning in something.

Hence the DotA communities we have today.

Played a game just now (no classes Wednesday :)). I don't know why I keep doing solo queue, I get such shit teams. Our WW couldn't gank the Cait top even when I stunned and snared her with my Q and Ult. I died and she had barely any HP. He walks into one of her traps and she gets away. He also build a Wriggles and NEVER placed the ward.

We got aced 3 times. After we got baron, we went to dragon and backed. But WW recalled in the middle of dragon and they came, I ulted to try to stop but they aced us. Aced with Baron.....


That's it. I'm done with solo queue for real this time.

Me (Amumu, jungle Fiddle, Kat, Renekton, and Mundo. Figured either Mundo and Renekton would solo top since they are both capable of doing it. Nope, they laned together top, I died quickly and that turret went down to half health. Mundo and Renekton NEVER typed in chat the majority of the game. Renekton said 1 mia. Then I kept complaining and Renekton laughed because I was 1/7. I never left a game, but that one was REALLY tempting.

I get all 3 doran rings in a row.

You dont need boots early with Maokai as long as you have good positioning to not get ganked.

Your W makes you go to the enemy, so there is your gap closer. And Q slows them, so boots are eh.

Good tankie items to get if enemies are:

AD and AP: Aegis
AP: Banshee or Force of Nature or Abyss Scep
AD: Glacial Shroud (a must for Maokai), Frozen Heart, Thornmail (ONLY if they use autoattacks and focus you), Randiums, Sunfire is good since he is usually in the middle of things

Probably missing something, but thats all i got off the top of my head.

Dont recall to buy a ring until your lane is pushed to their tower or got someone to cover you while you recall

Seriously, Moakai is crazy in the right hands. They had a Moakai as well. I manhandled him.

Lee Sin tried to solo me late game with all that gear he has vs what i had. I made him run like a girl.

They sent everyone top like 1 or 2 at a time to stop me. I just put a whooping on them.

I had to solo top vs maokai AND lee sin. Dont mess with me!
