If you don't get the update, try clearing your cache using the clear cache code, worked for me after I did that.

Applause to Valve for Last Stand

Don't read if you don't want to be completely surprised and have some laughs

The wall in the bathroom collapses and so does the wall in the room with the spiral staircase. This completely fucked us over twice in a row since we were oblivious to the fact until it happened. A whole lot of "OH WHAT THE fuck?!"s to be heard over the mics

Woot.

12:47:47 on the Generator Room.

Shit gets WACKY after 10 minutes.

That makes 3 Golds out of 4 on the No Mercy Survival maps.

Lasted almost 15 minutes on the rooftop. If anyone has a good place to camp on the Gas Station please enlighten me.

I've heard that before, but Marble Blast Ultra has a free DLC map with 10 achievment points--so I'm not sure. Maybe just retail releases?

I'm not entirely thrilled with Survival mode, which is disappointing because I've been looking forward to this for months. And I LOVE nazi zombies and horde...
 
It's pretty cool, but I think I must still be a little burnt out on L4D... we'll see.

Not sure I can be bothered with killing another 10,000-ish zombies for that last achievement.
 
you can get 10,000 easily with survivor mode... if you last 4+ minutes and do it right without glitching, you can get like 600-700 kills per match easily.
 
wow..i need to start playing this more and COD4 less. Is there a cag group for this game? I like it but I dont have a lot of friends with it. My gamertag is Malik112099. Please add me or invite me if you see me on.
 
Does anyone have a good strategy for Last Stand? The best I have come up with is to hang out on the light house and hope you don't smokered and then get the hell off when a tank gets up there. My best time so far is a little past 5 minutes. 7 and 10 just don't seem doable with my strategy.

Were you on yesterday because I was looking for you. L4D tonight? SEND ME A REQUEST EVEN IF I'M PLAYING ANOTHER GAME. My Gears 2 people will simply have to understand. Hmph. I'm tired of barely edging out to 3 and a half minutes with randoms that leave after a few replays. ;\

I was on for a little bit and I sent you a request but then a f'n thunderstorm knocked out my internet connection for the night. So pissed to because I was at like 10 mins in BH and then my internet went out haha

I'll hit you up tonight though no class tonight.

We do but the creator hasn't been on since a couple weeks after its creation and most of us soon realized many of those who were on the list were never on or interested in playing so we ditched it.

This thread is probably your best bet at finding a crew to play with at the moment.

Yeah, alot of "HOLY SHIT!" When that happened. It shows Valve pays attention to what people do though for better or worse.
 
I didn't get a chance to play this after I DL'd the content last night...but color me anxious. I'll be on probably after south park...

Since when? Gears 1 added 250 points for free. Even if you exclude the temporarily paid-for map pack there was still 100 points to go with the free annex game mode. Gears 2 added 110 with free DLC. Crackdown added a bunch of free points with free DLC. PGR4 as well. Bioshock had zero premium DLC and still added 100 points for free.
 
This new game mode is fucking HARD... but addicting. I like it, but wish we could still spam the melee seeing how so many zombies are attacking you.

I'm glad that I'm playing this game again. It's so fun. We need new maps! When will those come out?

You did notice that the 2 other campaigns are now open for versus matches i hope?

Got 7 minutes on Last Stand. Jesus does it get HARD at about the 6 minute mark. 2 Tanks at once :hot::hot:

You cant use crackdown beacuse it had in game ads which I am sure allowed them to put anything they wanted into the game. I wouldnt even count Gears 2 because the match making was so broken.

Cheesemints are not that big of a deal are they? Especially when the company has already delivered more patches and updates then most games in years. Ah well.

Played this for a couple hours yesterday and I have to say it is damn good.

Its hard as hell, as it should be and you have to be very skillful and have extremely good team work to get far. This mode is fantastic. There really isnt anything more exciting then trying to kill 2 tanks at one time knowing you have to do fast because you can hear hunter screams.

:applause: Bravo Valve.

I never liked nazi zombies because I found it boring as hell. The only thing that was different from level 1 through level 21 was how fast the zombies moved. No real tactics, no real exciment, half the time I would just switch over to tv for the first 5 rounds.
 
the rock glitch for death toll or whatever is hilarious because now you can see long, long lists of huge amounts of time spent playing it. like over 100 mins!!!!

valve should have fixed that (but not for regular playing!)
 
ragtaggaming.com is one of the CAG groups... we play everything... but lately we have been playing COD, L4D, Shadowrun....

we also play burnout paradise, SFIV, TF2, Castle Crashers, Peggle, Uno... everything just about... we usually have a group of at least 8 on any given night...

WTF. Jesus rock still works? I wonder if the other Jesus spots work...

Seems like those would've been on the top of Valve's list of glitches to fix
 
Just played this game for the first time tonight. It was incredible. Best game I've played in a while, and I am not a fan of shooters. Hopefully I can get this myself sometime soon...
 
I still love survival mode but god damn....it further points out just how horrible people are at this game.

With my friends we are get bronze easy every time (though I havent played a lot yet) and are slowly building up good scores. I try to play with a random group and we can barely get over 1 min and a half beacuse no one works together.

Lamb 2 Slaughter...All 4 Dead...Stomach Upset...Nothing Special...What Are You Trying to Prove?...Zombicidal Maniac...Unbreakable...Safety First...Man vs Tank...Do Not Disturb...Untouchables
Sometimes the computer disturbs the witch...and they heal me...
and when playing versus...as a tank...im usually killed before i can get all 4 of them...and im having trouble getting the kill a survivor that has entered and exited the room...
Please help a brother out

I need to get Nothing Special. I’ve beaten all the campaigns on expert, so I like to think I’m a decent player. What time/days are good for yall?

Lamb 2 Slaughter...depends on the opposing team. Someone running ahead? Wait at the saferoom. With luck they'll go inside and if his teamates get in trouble outside he'll open up the door.

All 4 Dead...again depends on the opposing team. Keep in mind you only have to incap them all, not kill them. Hitting them off of rooftops to their death does NOT count. Easiest way is to hit an object into a group of survivors.

Stomach Upset...Dead Air on easy with 3 bots. Turn subtitles on. When you get the boomer alert STOP and wait for the boomer to come out. Carefully kill him and continue on. On the finale camp behind the plane, no boomer will get close with three bots.

Nothing Special...good luck!

WAYTTP/ZM...easiest to do with a group of experienced players, really. I would strongly advise using public matches for these achievements. Keep in mind after a recent update you actually have to SURVIVE the finale to get credit. Also, don't go idle or leave the session or you'll have to start over. This includes lagging out.

Unbreakable...you can use pills and die. Keep this in mind. If an AI starts to heal you, take out your medpack. This will stop them from doing so. Obviously play on easy.

Safety First...No Mercy easy with 3 bots. Just run through all the levels melee spamming. Shoot carefully when absolutely necessary. Don't pick up a shotgun.

Man vs Tank...Start a campain on expert with 3 bots. Incap them all and change the difficulty to easy. Lock them in the saferoom and run through the level until you find a tank to kill.

Do Not Disturb...Just play easy campaigns. Stay absolutely as far away from the witch as possible so the bots don't wake her up. If you see an unavoidable witch, kill yourself so you can redo the level and hope for a better witch spawn.

Untouchables...Easiest way to do it would be the rock at the end of Death Toll. But it's far more rewarding to do it legit.

My times very from when I'm on, just shoot me a request and we can either a set a time up or b just watch for each other, the best times for me are at night seeing as I have kids that run wild during the day. Hard to focus on killing zombies while your child is jumping and running around.

well easier said than done...it would be easier with a team of CAGs
i have yet to run into a bunch of noobs when i am a tank...they usually lite me on fire...then run away from me....or hide somewhere i cant get to

i will be on later on tonite...going to gym after work...then im all game till whenever
