Possible "deal" summary:

1. Send e-mail to [email protected].
2. Address e-mail to William Davenport.
3. Include your full shipping address.
4. Mention that you want to become a bounty hunter or something witty and you need software to help you gain the necessary skills.
5. If you send it in soon enough, I am fairly certain you will receive the Metroid Prime 2 Demo disc.

OK, actually, I'm not certain if you're getting a Metroid Prime 2 Demo, but that would make the most sense. This is part of the Metroid Prime 2 advertising campaign where they have fake websites, etc. If you applied to a job to work at Athena Astronautics through monster.com and were early and creative enough, they sent you a copy of the game. If you're like me and you applied late enough and uncreatively enough, you got an e-mail telling you that you were accepted and will receive software to help prepare you for your career as a Bounty Hunter. I can only assume this is just the demo. Then at the end of the e-mail it states:

"If you have any colleagues that you feel are up to this challenge, you
are welcome to forward them my contact information. However, space is
limited, so early applicants are given priority. The galaxy could use
a few more aspiring heroes like yourself."

So, send an e-mail to [email protected] and see if you get a demo or maybe something better.

Wow then it sounds like its totally random or they just choose to send games to the people who's letters that they like or something.
 
I send them an e-mail and signed up on monster just for this. I sent em mid december and a "position has already been filled e-mail a couple days later (today)" I thought that anyone who had send it before the 15th would get the game but that doesn't seem to be the case. Oh well... I hope I get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in the same boat. I think it's random too! On a much more positive random free stuff note, I got a call from T-Mobile yesterday and they are upgrading my phone for free! No new service agreement or anything!!! I'm getting a Motorola V600. Anyone have this phone? Any good!
 
I had almost given up hope on this, but with the flurry of activity, well, my fingers are crossed. We'll see...

Nov. 23 = applied via Monster.com (w/resume)
Dec. 20 = received email from "Athena Astronautics"
 
welll, i got the email today. its the same one posted earlier that others recieved before they got their game, so hopefully ill be getting the game soon, lets wait and find out

Crossed for what? That I'm assuming means you lose (being that I got the same e-mail).

if you read 2 pages back, 4 or 5 days ago someone got that e-mail and then the next day got the full version of the game.
 
Damn I just got the email. I'm guessing since they said that Samus got the position on Nov 15 that you were supposed to apply/send email b4 Nov 15...oh well

Got the email today as well. I applied via Monster and sent the email to the Gmail account. The email I got was from the Monster application so let's see what happens...

Of course, I mean, I could never destroy one's hope... for I got the email and the game, anyone can!!!
 
I just got the email this morning. I'm hopeful because after it talks about the position being filled by Samus, its says that there's still room to get in on the action and ends with "enjoy your adventure."

Could certainly just be a plug trying to get you to buy the game, but I suppose it could still be coming.

I too got the e-mail. Don't remember when I sent in my own e-mail, but I guess we'll start finding out soon whether or not people who get the mail are people who get the game.

I have a v600 and the phone kicks ass, congrats. Make sure to get a bluetooth device (like one from belkin) so that you can connect the phone to your PC and send ringtones, pics, games, and any other stuff from your PC to your phone(that way you won't have to pay T-mobile for any of that stuff). Anywho, gotta stay on topic. I just got the e-mail, which I totally expected to get since I never win a damn thing.
 
i got 2 emails i assume one from Nov when i sent them a quick email and 1 from yesterday when in desperation i sent them another email yesterday. But i also got a 3rd email this one from Monster.com regarding the same. All three emails had the same text as you guys got. That Samus got the job. All l 3 i recieved today.

Nice! I'll defintely have to look into a bluetooth device. My phones have always been pretty basic so I am not too well versed on them. I'll have to do some reading. :)
