I ordered Darius for the vita 3 weeks ago, it shows shipping since June 29, still nothing shipped and today is the 10th of July .... is that normal for these guys, ?seems they don't kmow how to ship product! And worse they don't get back to you , I been waiting 3 days and still no answer from support via email....
The email immediately autoresponds with a message saying we don't answer emails to that address and that you need to open a support ticket at limitedrungames.freshdesk.com. We were waiting on some inserts to arrive before we could ship everything out. They're here now so shipping should be completed in the next two days.

From what I understand, GameStop can't take any of their titles in since they don't have an ESRB rating on them. Deemo probably doesn't count since it was on the plastic.
I think the real issue is that our releases just aren't in their system. The ESRB thing likely only applies to games being sold as new.

Until they phased out PS2 and Xbox, GameStop still accepted and sold what was widely known and legally defined as child porn in the form of The Guy Game. Figure if they'd sell that, they'd probably accept a few innocuous games without ESRB ratings.

I think someone posted on CAG saying they found a copy of Breach and Clear at Gamestop... this was a while back but I'm pretty sure I remember seeing it here.
It's not in their database so it would have had to be accidentally taken in as another game. The individual store doesn't have the ability to add titles to their database just because someone tries to sell them something. Back when I was working on my Wii collection over the years going to different Gamestops I found two rare games that they don't have in their database that were taken in as the wrong game that I bought.

That would require opening the game before going into the store...

Anything? I really love to know when you plan on releasing this game.
Since its been well over 90 days since it was released on PSN.
Are you even releasing this game anymore?
We're still releasing Forma.8. The Vita version has to be rebuilt to include patches so that's why there has been a delay.

Out of curiosity, what games were these? I'm guessing one was that QVC exclusive bicycle riding game??

I'm also removing images from the op since it's seemingly LRG's way of trying to make sure flippers or others don't jack their images, so making it harder to actually link to those images.

Of course there are ways around it, but the ways around it would also take a lot more work to keep up with, so just going to do away with them altogether.

Op looks a lot uglier now, but meh.

Looks like Oceanhorn is now officially listed for July 28th as well.

So that makes July 28th look like:

Oceanhorn (PS4)

Oceanhorn (Vita)

Plague Road (PS4)

Plague Road (Vita)

Glad I already have my Plague Road preorders done and paid for through Kickstarter!!

Nope. I actually found my copy of Cyberbike at a local gamestore for $1.50. They were two of the "2 for 1 Power Pack titles" which are two of the 10 rarest games for the system. Here's the Kotaku article and video about the guy who bought about 100 of my Wii titles off me including a ton of rare one's for completing the Wii collection.

I'm bummed that I missed out on the kickstarter version of plague road. I wonder if there will be another way to get that variant?

Honestly I'd say ebay to troll but with 400/700 copies I'm really not sure how many will make it there.

Yeah, I think only a small handful will make it to eBay. The only other way to get it will be to receive it randomly instead of the standard cover (which we'll do for about 30 copies on each platform). It wouldn't be fair to Kickstarter backers who put in money upfront to sell the cover another way.

It's interesting that they won't say his real name in the article. It might be Kacy Cariaso, I know he has a full set and he's pretty well known around Facebook and Youtube videos, but alot of people don't like him because he allegedly "scalped" alot of other gaming items to get the money to pay for his personal collection. I don't personally know what he scalped, if he even did it, or why I should even care, but that's the general accusation. As you could expect, people on Facebook gaming groups are pretty catty and bitter though.

It's not him; It's someone else.

There's a reddit article about this from a few months back where he answers a ton of questions.

There's also some dumb fuck who asks if he has fritz chess in the post about his complete wii collection...

I might have missed it, but what's going on with the Furi/Darius shipments? Have these actually shipped?
My Dariusburst (Vita) shipped, but I'm a bit confused as to why the expected delivery date is this Saturday (7/15) for me when it shipped on 7/3, and I thought I paid for First Class shipping, not UPS Mail Innovations (the slowest shipping method I've seen).

when u get the email about ur games been shipped, its actually saying the shipping label is printed. doesnt mean they dropped it off at the post office or USPS picked them up.

It's this guy. I had this story saved in my bookmarks from a few years ago. It shows how few Wii games he had when it was originally posted.

Like others have said Kacy is a different person. KacydaGameNerd was the first person I had heard to get a complete set when I was getting near the last 200 or so games of mine. I talked to him a few times to compare master lists since the number of Wii games he had listed for a complete set was lower than what I and some of the other Wii collectors had come up with. NintendoTwizer is the guy from the Kotaku article. Me and him were working on our collections around the same time and helped each other out with info and lists over at nintendoage. I ended up getting burned out on the collecting when I had around 100 games left and sold off my collection but I was glad to see him finish it. He's a good guy.

I'm really excited about Jotun. Definitely gonna be a 16 oz Red Bull morning.
I'm contemplating because I have the free indie box release and the gamestop limited edition version. I don't need another but I do love LRG.

Also, I got my LRG copy of Furi in the mail today. It came with the trading card AND the post card. Wasn't the trading card supposed to replace both the post card and the sticker or just the sticker?

It must be horrible collecting for Wii. How many versions of Dora the Explorer and Sponge Bob and Punch the Monkey are there?

All the stained and torn up Cabelas and Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune games all smelling like piss and cigarettes.

Seems like the worst console to seek a full set on.

I figure the games are basically throw away and cheap and easy to get because they have no collector value so it's low hanging fruit for someone that want an economical full collection for something.

That's pretty much what drove up Sega CD, N64, etc prices, all the daily new "me too" collectors going for the low hanging fruit thinking it would be easy to start with the < 200 games systems until everybody else has the same idea to start with those first and prices blow up over night. Then there ends up being a game or two that is genuinely hard to find that shoots into 4 digits and shatters 99% of everybody's dreams of having a full set even on the 100 game systems like Sega CD.

Or the point is everyone is hoarding sealed complete sets for every other modern console and laughs and overlooks the Wii because it's such a turd that the Wii will be the only truly rare collectible system in a few years because it's the one post PS2 system that won't have 100 million sealed complete sets out there? I dunno, I can't bring myself to bother with Wii outside of the big ones (FE, XC, SMG, SS etc).

It's a genuine curiosity. I've been collecting from NES to PS4 and most everything between. Of all console generations, 6th-7th gen are the ones I care least about even remotely having a large collection outside the niche games and RPGs that interest me. Least of all Wii of all systems.

I've got a shelf of Wii games myself but they are mostly the RPGs, the Nintendo first party stuff, etc, I could never see myself scouring Gamestops and garage sales for that mint copy of My Ballet Studio, Wii Fitness, M&M's Adventure, or Shrek.

Dead serious, help me understand the appeal of targeting Wii for a full set since you almost did it. What compels someone to look over the list of 1500+ Wii releases, 90% of which are universally panned as shovelware and even invented a new term waggleware for, and decide that's the system they want a 100% set for?

Holy shit, did the Wii have 1500+ games? I had no clue.

As for collecting, who's to say? Most of my collecting over the years started as just buying games I wanted to play, and then over time I had a collection. Sometimes I would add to it, and other times, I would sell things off to make room for other systems and games.

As for the Wii specifically, love or hate it, it was one of the most successful systems of all time, and while it had tons of garbage, it had it's fair share of quality titles as well. Why does anyone collect anything for that matter? It's all up to the individual and what they may want or desire at the time.

Some of the most collectible games and most desired titles(with the highest values), are some of the worst games ever made. So looking for some form of explanation, don't bother, as you won't find one in most situations, as "desires" aren't easily explained, or often make much sense.

Want to say it's like 1100 for NA physical only? This is when digital started to muddy the waters and make comprehensive lists more difficult to maintain.

The Wii popularity I attributed to the "gotta have the latest trendy white sold out iDevice on my coffee table" craze at the time. I knew a shit ton of people who weren't even gamers and who never bought a game outside of Wii Sports and a few downloads and just got it because they knew it was the hot item everyone was talking about. It mostly sat on their table collecting dust unless they turned it on during a party to show off the then "cool" motion controls that everyone hates now.

Just wasn't a memorable system for me for some reason outside of say Xenoblade Chronicles and the other "real" games I mentioned (Galaxy, Fire Emblem, Zelda, Last Story, etc) . The only system less memorable for me is 2600 and I had one new as a kid.

We included a postcard because our trading card manufacturer used the wrong stock (100lb paper instead of 18pt card stock). Postcards will stop as soon as the trading cards hit the quality level we want.

Almost every single sentence of your previous post was condescending and obnoxious so if that is how you show "genuine curiosity" I would work on that. But anyways I started collecting for the Wii the way most people do I started getting all the big name titles and then once I ran out of those I started seeing some of the weirder games for the platform and I figured I'd go for it. I'm way more of a video game player then a collector (after selling my Wii collection I barely have 10 physical games) but I knew it was a fairly unpopular system and I thought it would be something weird and fun to collect for that not a lot of people were going for. I have 20+ Gamestops within 20 miles or so of me so I took advantage of B2G1 sales and occasionally B2G2 sales and that's how I got the majority of my collection. I would only buy complete copies (other than the 20 or so Wii games that don't come with manuals) and it was fun hitting up stores during the sales looking through my list for stuff I didn't have.

Counting variants I at my high point was at about 1400 unique Wii games (which took me 2 or so years to accumulate). I ended up getting bored near the end since everything I had left was stuff I had to get 1 at a time on ebay. I ended up letting NintendoTwizer know I was looking to stop collecting and besides the really rare stuff I sold on ebay I ended up selling almost 1300 Wii games to a total of 4 people and it took barely a month from the time I decided to sell my collection to being completely rid of it. I was never collecting Wii games because I thought I was going to make money off it I just did it because it was fun but my collection ended up being worth about 5 times the amount I paid for it which was a nice bonus.

I hate using this term, but the Wii has a lot of great "hidden gems." Sure, there is a lot of crap, but there's also a lot of good stuff not many people know about right now.

Well, off the top of my head Zack & Wiki, Fragile Dreams, Castle of Shikigami, Klonoa, Little Kings Story, Endless Ocean, Boy & His Blob, Sin & Punishment, Muramasa, Ghost Squad, Sky Crawlers, and Elebits are coming to mind. I know there's tons more though.

Also, gotta edit for Mad World, Red Steel, and the No More Heroes games.

Ghost Squad is the only one I haven't heard of but thanks for that. Sounds like I've seen what the system has to offer.

Agree. This guy is an odd combination of self-centered, slow witted and bigoted. He constantly posts offensive stereotypes about other gamers and repeatedly makes the same stupid arguments about how Youtube and unboxing videos ruined his collecting. He also seems to have a hard on for bashing Nintendo and anyone who plays sports or FPS games. He essentially posts the same 5-6 things all day every day in various threads and everyone ignores him.

I'll spare everyone else from the reply to the butthurt.

Aw still butthurt about the comments about the average American public being those waddling whales and scooter driving Walmart clientele that smell like cigarettes and can barely tie their own shoes buying what the TV tells them to, or the ghetto rats that fight each other for shitty $30 TVs on Black Friday. And Axe spray and moldy sock smelling dude bro GameStop shoppers. Seriously why does every Gamestop smell like a musty ass highschool locker room?

Call it bigoted all you want, it doesn't change it. Everybody knows what I'm talking about.

Maybe you don't live in the US or in a heavy population area or share roads with anyone but the average US adult leaves alot to be desired. Maybe you've seen them spend 15 mins driving up and down the rows and blocking everyone else waiting for a car about to leave and trying to get the spot 3 feet closer to the door when there is a vast empty parking lot only 55 feet away. Or when they fling their doors open into the car next to them, or bump it with a shopping cart (and then leave the cart there and can't take the 3 seconds to return it) or let their spawn run their fingers down the side of another person's car, and it's just perfectly normal and acceptable and it just don't even register. Average person is just full of fail, dumb, inconsiderate, negligence, cluelessness, and so much more.

Oh I remember we were equating sales quantity to product quality, where sheeple get to determine what is #1. And I wanted to remind people of what mainstream average America is: go to Walmart, especially on Black Friday. That's the face of mainstream average America, the mainstream, the target audience of everything considered AAA. The same people who believe the ads that tell you that you can get free electricity with some fridge magnets and buy fuel economy magnets and stick and peel chrome fender arches and just somehow know in their heart solar can save the world despite having never even taken Jr high physics.

The take away being just because the masses want to fit in and buy what's trendy and gives a product #1 sales due to lowest common denominator appeal doesn't make it a better product and automatically mean everything that sold less is a failure. Lots of shitty products outsell better products because of great marketing to idiots who barely know how to put gas in their cars or light a cigarette and make life decisions based on what the experts on TV say.

Just remember this picture Im painting next time you want to argue something is a failure because it sold alot less because it wasn't dumbed down and gimicky or marketed to the mainstream average. The same kind of average American that glares at you with their mouth hanging dumbfounded at why someone would raise concern about a shopping cart getting nonchalantly slammed into someone elses car.

Nintendo bashing though? That's rich. Not like SNES is my most cherished console of all time or anything. I'm just not a hypocrite and will call them out on their repeated bullshit even as a fanboy.

Seriously though, go to a Walmart on Black Friday in the US and see how you feel about your fellow human beings then.

Like what? Serious question, so much of the Wii library is total garbage and I'd like to know what I've missed.
Rail-shooters. In my mind, they are the single greatest reason to continue owning and playing the Wii. I use my Wii as basically a "gun game" machine. I think the motion tech does great for shooters, and since I'm not a fan of the nunchuck, I tend to really enjoy any game that guides you along and allows you to keep both hands on the weapon (as it should be). The aforementioned Ghost Squad is great, but there's also House of the dead overkill, Resident Evil Umbrella and Darkside Chronicles, Attack of the Movies, NY and LA Guns, and several others that are great arcade style fun, especially when played co-op. I own about 100 Wii games, but if I had to dump my entire collection, I'd keep the rail shooters longer than the Marios and Zeldas.

House of the Dead Overkill is almost worth buying a Wii just for that title. LOL

One of the best Rail shooters around, and a very much looked over title to boot.

In for one copy of Jotun. Looks like I will be getting it in a bubble mailer this time since I only ordered one. It will be interesting to see if it comes as a floater since I haven't gotten a loose disc on a PS4 game from them since LRG started using boxes for multiple game (with one PS4) orders.
