Just did the math and I've spent about $1400 on LRG releases since January 2016, still don't have enough tickets for a free game -_-
It would've been nice to give us tickets for the purchases we made prior to the introduction of the Rewards System but oh well. I barely reached the 40 ticket threshold a few weeks ago

yeah, retroactively providing tickets in some fashion would have been nice, they still could have locked them to your account (assuming they really are enforcing that)

I am very ready for this.

As bad I think it is to see the Switch games be mostly ports so far, I can't even be mad. I respect the hustle. Taking your $7 iOS game and selling thousands of copies for $25 on 2 separate consoles then selling it 6 years after release for $50/$60/$70/$100? in an expensive CE.

The best "hustle" I've seen so far is probably from Brian, RCR's creator, as he's offered that game more times than I can count(even offered a DOS version, and a PSP case, sleeve and manual). The PS4 even had 2 separate runs, now that's hustling at it's finest, no doubt. LOL

Spent my day in a haze and actually had to come back here to see wtf the name of the game I bought was. It looks good to me really, artsy stuff is my jam. I absolutely loved proteus and if I could personally fund a tiny physical run of it with my own money dollars I wouldn't think twice about it.

Also my super hydorah shipped so hell yeah. One less email in my inbox.

Edit: if yall are into soundtracks I can definitely recommend the upcoming toejam and Earl soundtrack. It's absolutely killer and they couldn't have done a nicer job with it. D side etched, 2 different colors, beautiful gatefold, included a Cd version and a mini art book with mine. That may have been a limited promo, but either way the music is awesome.

A bit expensive but fwiw I'm cheap af and don't usually spend over $20 on vinyl and done feel ripped off.

RCR ps4 has three runs technically.

1st run through fangamer

2nd run with gold font

3rd run with normal font.
Holy Shit, even more proof of said hustle. LOL

I actually had no idea there where three different PS4 offerings. If not for his new game "coming soon", we may have already seen a fourth offering.

Did you get super hydorah by itself? im waiting for my shipment notice still, but i bought lethal league and fallen legion with it also. So far i have 6 unfulfilled orders from limited run lol.

Has anyone get a shipment notice for the Oddworld: Munchs Oddysee PAX variant and Skullgirls 2nd Encore yet? I thought they were shipping those immediately?

Awesome thanks for this. Had no idea that even existed.
There are a few others you may be interested in, The Mask, Mega Man, Pirates of Dark Water, Swat Kats, I'm sure there are more, that's all I can remember off the top of my head.

The Mask is only available at wbshop.com

EDIT: Just looked at some of my stuff, I also have Street Sharks, Beetlejuice, King Arthur and the Knights of Justice.

I got my shipping notice Friday afternoon but it hasn’t been picked up yet.

I got my Munch's Oddysee CE and three CE protector boxes, but I was surprised to find the CE protector boxes don't fit Munch's Oddysee. They do fit the La Mulana EX CE and the Ys Origin CE.

I'm on-board for Flinthook. Haven't decided if I want Mercenary Kings or not. Conflict among feelings of "Gotta collect 'em all" and "But it sounds like a multi-player focused game" and "I really already have enough games" and "But it's only $30." Will wait until I work out which feeling wins before ordering one or both regular edition games sometime today.

Mercenary Kings plays well enough by yourself. It's mainly how repetitive it is, how the jumping works, and other things that are bigger problems. I did get through a lot of it playing by myself though a while back.

Just noticed that today's Switch games are slated to ship in August. I understand, and it's written in bright red, bold font on the page, but I wonder how the Switch crowd will react. They don't exactly give the impression they're patron saints of patience.

Yeah, it's this or fighting it out for "limited" qty's on Friday's, take your pick? I'm sure LRG is fuck ed either way. LOL

What are you talking about, Nintendo fans waited out the WiiU years just fine!

Rate of shipping shouldn't be an issue for most people on this site. It's not like we don't have huge backlogs already.
I think it's less adding a game to the backlog and more having money hanging out there. Personally, that hasn't affected my LRG purchases, but it has affected my Kickstarter backing and why I don't preorder a game any more than a couple/few weeks before its confirmed release (assuming there's a worthwhile physical preorder bonus).

I'm not on social media, so I can't vote, but I prefer Mondays myself, as it keeps things from getting to busy on Friday's. I'm sure some will prefer saving on shipping, so Friday's will probably get those votes.

Fridays were at over 60% when I saw this yesterday evening.
Yeah, I always figured Friday's would win out(I'm cool either way). LRG has asked in the past about similar types of situations, and having everything offered at once was always the most voted. I would rather be able to get all the games I want Vs. saving a few dollars on shipping. Of course LRG has a HUGE international fan base, so I can understand the voting from that side of the situation, as international shipping is no longer cheap(not that it ever was). LOL

I don't care what day Switch games are offered... especially since so far they are all pre-orders.  Monday isn't bad as it sort of forces them to go ahead and start advertising the week before which is more notice than most ps4/vita games seem to get.

LRG finally made steelbooks which is awesome, yet it comes in a package that costs $89.99.

I'm in the "who cares anymore" stage of LRG collecting now.  I love steelbooks more than anyone.  The ones LRG has made look great.  But I'm not trying to go spend ninety dollars (for pre-orders) on indie games I wasn't planning on buying.  That's just about the cost of two $48 brand new release games like God of War and Ni no Kuni.  Everything that's nice is in collector's editions now and the standard games usually cost $29.99 or $34.99, plus shipping.  So I've lost a lot of interest.  Even on the more enticing offerings.  LRG doesn't have the small-guy company feel anymore and has gone mainstream anyways.  They won't miss me.   They can make $100 collector's editions of "Senko no Ronde 2" and people will buy it.  Things aren't going to change.  They have enough people buying premium products from them now.  Like a $65 game from the 90s that comes with a plastic frisbee. For people who are made of money, then everything LRG is doing is great.  But I'm a CAG.

Thimbleweed Park and Oddworld were great choices to release.  I'm just going to be sticking to those types of good releases and buy mostly standard editions from now on.

Does it really matter what day Switch games go up if they are preorders? If you really want to save a few bucks on shipping and wait longer for your other stuff then you can wait until Friday. If you want a Switch CE then you would probably be better off getting that on Monday and not having to get it in your cart along with everything else during the Friday rush.

Siralim got pushed to May 4th to pair it with another game and to give us a break for this week
Based on Doug's tentative scheduled posted on the LRG forums, every Friday in May has multiple PS4 or Vita releases. I'm sure there will be another Switch release as well in there somewhere.

I think the replies to that poll on Twitter are hilarious. People all complaining that they need all of the releases on Friday because of payday, and they can’t afford them on Monday. Maybe they just need a little self control and/or budgeting.

ROFL!

Yeah, I noticed that earlier and was like holy shit, are those guys for real? There's no hope for any kind of results that make any kind of sense when the ones voting are using that level of logic. After reading those comments, I think LRG should offer a limited qty each day of the week, as that's the only way they are going to satisfy that crowd.

Can you imagine what their emails must look like on an hourly basis, when you have guys who can't figure out how to hold money from Friday to Monday? I thought I dealt with some wack jobs, but this is a whole new level of krazy.
