That's actually been happening for a rather long period of time honestly, so not really anything to discover or find.

Missing shipment conversations while not common, have happened here as well, and is a regular discussion across many active threads within CAG. Damages and how stuff is sent is pretty much a part of those conversations as well, and can be found on any given day, in a particular thread most of the time.
I get the emails from LRG every time something goes live, haven't purchased anything from them in a while since it's all crap i'd never play..

Just started noticing that i'd get an email on Saturdays for the leftovers. (like the last 2-3 months, just never came here to see why)

Thanks for the insight. Perhaps it's just the people in my area that are apathetic. Is there a good way to escalate a missing package? I've tried the 1-800 number, but they eventually route everything through the local office. Once the issue is there, the guy calls once a day and says some generic "We'll have the deliveryperson check" rhetoric and close the case after about a week.
FYI for everyone.

Calling the local office has pretty much no accountability to anyone.

Calling the 1-800 number forces local management to respond. The system they have to clear out everyday is generated by the 1-800 number. If something is left open... they get their ass chewed out.

They have to do something, in the end the report has to have a response typed into it (can't be too generic or it alerts someone) It's not a check a box thing and it's done.

You can always talk with the carrier also, just be nice.. cause like I said it could have been anyone that may have "delivered" it. The guy that comes out blaming right off the bat... gets told to call the 1-800 number cause i'm done with him.

Problem is as the consumer, you can't do much. The shipper holds all the cards.

If package is "lost" etc, call USPS first, also notify the shipper. If its not found, turn to the shipper and have them escalate it.

also FYI, if it's an Amazon package... make sure you complain to all Hell with Amazon ;)

Amazon is relentless with USPS/FedEx/UPS. And they are pretty good about replacing the item.

USPS/FedEx/UPS doesn't deliver Amazon packages in Seattle now (I think thats the only place though) It may not be all Amazon, but most. Amazon hired their own drivers and are trying to do everything in house. (and in your house...)

Also FYI... If you live in an apartment complex, always go to the office there and talk with them about it as well.

Sometimes a resident who had it mis delivered to them takes it to the office. The office people are sometimes busy or only there certain times, and forget about it... I had an office give me a handful of small packages one day, that had been sitting in their office. I came back from vacation and figured they were mis delivered while I was gone. I then noticed the post mark on one of the packages was 17 months prior

They "forgot" about them.

When I have an item that is on the wrong route, instead of that carrier listing the item as "mis-routed", they'll put delivered. I've had this happen more than once, and in the last 12 months. The item shows up the next day with no issues, but it makes me think it was delivered wrong, when it was just on the wrong route. There are many rules and procedures to follow, and honestly some take short cuts, while others don't. When my carriers scanner is low on battery power, he'll scan all his items in the am before it dies, so he doesn't have to manually write down the numbers for input later. So at 10 in the morning it will show delivered, and it won't show up physically until 5pm. Since I know his tricks, I don't worry, but for others, that would give the wrong impression.
Can confirm ALL of this...

Some of us take a 2nd battery cause, yeah... doing that crap at the end of the day typing all that crap by hand... :censored:

Christmas time i've had the battery die before noon and i won't be done till 6-7pm... F that.

We can take pics of the barcode and then scan the pic later, and then delete the pics... easier but also a pain. A 2nd battery is the best option.

When they show up the next day, it was either mis sorted in the office and for whatever stupid reason it wasn't delivered that day (honestly thats managements fault more than the carrier) Or the carrier forgot the package and doesn't want to back track to deliver (both management and carriers fault, but more carrier)

Check the time stamp on the scans, late in the day... it was most likely carrier.

Scanning everything in the am way before delivery is a no-no though, pure laziness on the carrier.

(if someone were to idk... have that happen to their Amazon package... and after the package turns up 3-4 hours later with no other scans... if they were to complain to USPS and Amazon... and USPS shows the package was scanned... at a GPS location that was not your address... The carrier would have no proof that he in fact did deliver that package to your door... And Amazon would see it wasn't either... Amazon would send a 2nd package to replace the first one that was "unrecoverable" :whistle2: )

also FYI, if it's an Amazon package... make sure you complain to all Hell with Amazon ;)

Just want to bitch about this quickly because I'll do it at any opportunity I get -- Amazon never holds back copies of limited items, so if it gets lost or stolen you're SOL. I never order special editions from them unless I absolutely can't avoid it. If you complain you can get a refund but if the sold-out item is only available for 3x cost on eBay that doesn't help too much.

That's every major retailer. My Shadow of the Colossus Special Edition got misdelivered and the only thing Best Buy could do was refund my money.

I think there's a couple of reasons why games aren't selling as fast as they used to.

I don't think it's a reflection of the "quality of the games", rather I think it's....

1. the novelty of "limited physical release" of games has worn of. LRG pumps them out (which is good, more choice for the consumer) but many other copycat companies are doing the same.

2. Resellers aren't making as much money, so less people flipping. The official LRG reseller Chris is sitting on two copies of Kero Blasters (bless his little Grinch sized heart) so he's not buying 10 of everything

and finally we have people like

who is burning people left and right on ebay, and hurting the buying/selling/trading market..

Big titles are still going to sell out fast. Stuff like the Oddworld games will always sell out fast and hold a value due to the series being popular and having a loyal fanbase. The games released on Friday outside the LE for Nurse Love will be hard pressed to sell for above what they retailed for.

Got my copy of Oddworld MO today. Anyone know what the minimum required firmware is to actually play it. Wanna play it but I'm on 3.60. Think it should play fine but just wondering if anyone could confirm

I'm 30 minutes from Colton, Oregon. I've grown up in this area, and within about 30 - 45 minutes of driving you can go from incest, redneck central, to overtly liberal, douche bag central. Oregon is a weird place. Colton falls on the former side of the coin, so I'm surprised that guy even knows how to use a computer lol.

I'm super excited to play Kero Blasters. I loved Cave Story. Surprised Organ Trail sold out first tbh. That game looks like dog crap to me.

One thing I think LRG might want to consider to keep people buying is to offer a digital download code alongside purchase of physical copy. Worked with that turd Lawbreakers and satiates people who want instant gratification as well as the sealed collector crowd. Just more value added all around, especially for budget PSN titles, which a lot of people seem to be on the fence on. Music and movies have adopted this model with success; honestly wish games would follow suit.

Organ Trail is definitely more well known out of the two. Kero Blasters was tempting for me, but I've got to hold off on buying some games for a minute so I can get the Gold Edition of Farcry 5 next week.

Problem is, that jeff79 guy has been trying to smear his name for weeks now. It's at least the 5th time I've seen jeff post about it. The accused's feedback doesn't even suggest it was a serial fraudulent person. It actually points to the opposite, that he's typically a good eBayer. It's like a fake smear campaign because jeff79 got screwed and can't prove it wasn't his fault.

This is what's known as a "witch hunt" on reddit and other forums and it's usually grounds for a perma-ban after being warned once.

You have no business doing that on public forums. For all we know...you are simply wrong, a liar, doxing someone, or aren't telling the whole truth. I could understand asking around maybe once. Everyone let it slide the first couple times you posted it, too. There is no way to prove it either way. That's why it is frowned upon. So you shouldn't do this.

He posted this on the mighty rabbit forums as well

I showed the guy that “Jeff” has been blasting here and on mighty rabbit how to report them on eBay. I don’t know the consequences of their dispute but I do know that blasting someone’s name/address/email all over a few forums isn’t the way to handle it.

From what I can gather two LRG cards were sold for ~$6 each and we’re lost in shipping with no tracking.

It’s going to suck for this person if they get stuck with all of the random shit they have listed if eBay bans them over this shit. As a game enthusiast, seller and buyer I 100% think they should get kicked off eBay for this.

Has anyone redeemed their 40 tickets for a game?

Does this guarantee a game copy or do you still have to place an order on release day?
40 tickets = $24.99

If you happen to want a game, yeah, they just hold it for you, so no fighting on release day. A few people here have redeemed them, but not many. Once all my outstanding orders ship, I'll have 40, but there hasn't been anything new offered in awhile. Since adding the NS, maybe they are looking in to some better type of exclusives for ticket holders.

I'm still waiting on the trading card packs to be offered, so there is for sure some side ventures that look like they could use some attention, so hopefully they get some soon.

The biggest mistake was posting their name and address on a public forum(s). That just isn't good conduct imo.

If it's a legitimate warning of a scammer sure but I have no idea wtf that guy is going on about.
That's just it, it's his word against someone else's, and how do we know his statements are true? That guy can be the problem in the equation, and if CAG allows him to slander someone else, then it can come back on them.

When it's two unknown clowns going at it on the internet, it's all good. Once you start posting names, addresses, etc, you are getting in to legal matters, that are best left to the sites where issues originally took place. Based on common sense alone, the guy here posting personal info of someone else appears to be the problem honestly.

Most sites would have stopped that before it even got going, but I can honestly say, CAG is about the most laid back I've seen in regards to mods, as often, I don't think this site has any. LOL

For how large CAG seems to be, I too am surprised at the lack of visual mod presence. I've been in CAG for nearly a decade now, and rarely see mods or admins unless I venture into the really popular social type posts that are less about gaming deals and more about community stuff, like the fundraisers or blog discussions. I do occasionally see when people become banned or posts magically disappear, so I know the mods are around, I'm just under the impression they like to do things behind the scenes without actually speaking themselves or notifying of their presence. That might be how Cheapy wants it to run, I have no idea. I do agree though, that it's probably not ok to plaster a guy's contact info and address all over the internet.

There's a Kickstarter for Oddworld: Abe's Origin art book and PC game collection (Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus). Description mentions they're teaming up with LRG

So...

  • Lumines Remastered
  • Mark of the Ninja Remastered
  • West of Loathing
You guys on this?
Add to the list, The Messenger. That looked pretty great. Oh, and Garage. That gave me Hotline Miami feels mixed with it being more of an actual game world. Hopefully Nicalis gets some of these.

After ordering Nurse Love Addiction, I went to charge my Vita since I haven't used it in some time. I had forgotten how small the screen is. Considering this is a game of all reading and my close range vision is not so great these days, this may be a bit of a struggle to play. If anyone wants my copy at cost + shipping, pm me. I rather it go to someone who can enjoy it rather than a flipper.

-Update- Taken.

I got one with my last order. It was pretty neat. I believe it's totally random.

They posted on Twitter about randomly inserting the printing plates in orders.

The new shipping boxes are too small for the PS4 case protectors and warps them but I got an OddWorld printing card so I'm not even too mad about it...

Today is my first time ever attempting to purchase anything from LRG. Are there any tips to being successful? Aside from creating an account, having a default address, and being signed into paypal to save time? Or is Amazon Pay better or faster?

I apologize in advance because I imagine this has been asked 1,000,000 times.

Ah that's so cool dammit! I have yet to even get a gold card haha. I'm hoping the cards for keto blaster are really cool... That's the first game I actually am excited to see the cards for. I'd love to get a plate for that if it's cool.

I've only ever used Paypal, and since it hasn't failed me, I have yet to try the Amazon Pay. Yeah, being signed in to Paypal, as well as LRG is about the best you can do. There is a part in check out with Paypal, where you need to input your phone number, as it doesn't save that info. So have that copied to your browser, so once it ask for that info, you can paste and keep moving. With this being a Wednesday release, not sure how busy it will be. And the game being offered seems about one step above Mecho Tales(or below, depending on POV), so it should last a few minutes at least. LOL

Thanks. That helps. Wednesday is probably the worst day for me.

Yeah I'm not interested in the game but anyone going for a complete VR set is gonna have to get it
That's me. I have all of the physical U.S. releases so far (which isn't many) except for the few released recently that I'm waiting to drop in price. $25 for this one is a lot for me. I'm not used to spending straight cash for videogames when I usually have giftcards at GS, BB, or Amazon.

open the game's page and watch the counter. once there is a few seconds left to 0:00 start refreshing the page. I say this cause from past experiences the timer will just stay at 0:00 and not turn into a BUY IT button. Also sometimes stuff goes on sale few seconds earlier i hear.
