1. When is the current final Mass Effect balance payoff deadline for the original big 3 sale? "I'd like to see em paid off " isn't urgent enought for me. I will procrastinate too much. I get paid this friday, speak up before my woman spends all my money on the essentials.

2. I really appreciate and value the deposit and balane options you were running before, as it allowed me to get a great price when you hadn't 100% (in my mind) established your credibility, just some slight reservations I had. I believe this was back in 2006 prior to crackdown being delivered. Now, there is no doubt in your current credibility and legitimacy, and I feel confident in trusting you'll be around at your month or two (+ or -- some days) deadline when I have to fulfill the balance of my game payment (30-45 bucks). I hope this payment method is still around I plan on preordering games, specifically ones that I don't mind waiting 2-3 days after street date to get, so I can lock in a good price. This is because I usually have about 5-10 bucks extra during the week if I'm lucky, after I've spent the rest of my money, and am able to toss in a preorder without any guilt. Come 10 days or so prior to the balance payday, I can make a thought out budget decision to set money aside from my wages. A good reason to check this thread everyonce in a while. Maybe your could PM the balance deadlines remaining to slickkill and stick em in the OP. If it saves you money and eliminates unwanted stock, don't take any excuses from those who miss the balance deadline and take their 5 or 10 bucks. I seem to recall you were being super nice and giving 'em that as credit on a different preorder, but now it is making you consider removing this balance payment method. Even if you had to bump up the balance pay off date more to be better prepared for your distributor when he wants the numbers. Thanks for the great job.

If mass effect is paid by mid october i am happy. I am asking for earlier so I can get organized. I will keep this blance option in mind as some people seem to like it.

The release date is the 4th. I ship non street dated titles 2 days after street date because my distributor doesnt get the game until street date. This is really nuts that the gaming industry just cant ship everyone a week early so EVERY retailer can get the game on street date. look at halo 3 the game is at my distributor already. I will have the game by next thursday so I can prepare and ship all orders on monday. Why cant every publisher be that way?

I am one of them, i almost didnt preorder halo 3 because it didnt have the deposit option, but i just went ahead anyway
 
got Trauma Center and SSB ordered up. Canceled SSB at amazon and decided to take a flyer on Trauma Center 2 since it's so cheap :)

Yea, because I'd love to pre-order games like Smackdown, DMC, etc by putting 10 down, rather then paying with my CC, getting charged the full amount right away, and getting charged interest if I can't pay it off right away

Same here. Maybe there has been some issues with the trade-ins, so it's not worth the trouble, i.e. people selecting "Excellent condition" and sending in a messed up disc?

I really liked the trade-in programs you had going on in the past, and hopefully we'll see them return in the future.

The trade deals will be coming back. I do need to sell some of the used inventory first though. If i sell you a brand new game below my cost because of trade ins and then dont resell the trade ina timely manner then that isnt the best scenirio for me. Once again I cannot stress enough the importance of used games sales. A customers that buys 1 used game is a better customer then the person who only buys my new game deals. Even if they buy 5 new game deals that doesnt make that customer good because most of the time I am taking a hit on those or making very little.

It's not that I can't afford it, it's that I don't want to use my DC to pay 80-90 bucks for something I won't be getting for 4-5 months.
 
Once I get my Halo 3, I'm pre-ordering Super Smash Bros. Brawl. How long will that deal last?

Also, I'm sure it has been covered but this thread is so long I can't find it. What guarentees do you have about your used games? If it isn't listed as "Good condition" can I assume excellent condition and complete?

You've mentioned in an email that you need used game sales to stay afloat and keep offering good deals. You have some things that are pretty well priced so I may bite.
 
Damn Tony you need to fix the bug where it shows a game as used and when someone buys it... It's still there. Case in point Bioshock for $40 which I would gladly support, and last time 99 nights.

Tony, I know it may take alot of effort depending on how many used games you have for sale but is there anyway to get a picture of the back of the used disc to see how many, if any scratches it has?

I'd just trust how Tony grades the used games. He seems to be quite diligent about only having excellent discs available.

I sell very high quality used games. I tell you right in the game description when i feel a game is not excellent. Keep in mind that the games are used so it is unfair to expect perfection but my excellent condition games are pretty darn close most of the time. If you are overly concerned then you need to only consider new. I have seen gamestop used games and gameflys and some of those games wouldnt even pass for my good.
 
For any multiplatform gamers following this thread I was wondering how to decide whether to order DMC4 for 360 or ps3? There doesn't seem to be any concrete details on either version.

This is below good. I think there is only 1 game that fits this condition. I accepted it because the customer is a very good customer and he tried to value it as good so I let it slip though and I discounted it a lot

Whenever you preorder something you have to pay the full amount right away

Find the game on his site--and it'll show you different prices.
It can be disc only, but you'll get the least amount of credit. Make sure the disc is in great condition though!
