Little Big Planet - Gen. Discussion & Info

I would really like to check that level out. I've been playing a bunch of the levels that everyone has mentioned here, and they're all pretty good. I'm looking for more to play though, so post the name up of your level and I'll give it a whirl.

I'm still working on my first level. I think I may have gone a little big for my first one, though it's turning out pretty decent. I'll hopefully have it up soon and let you guys know when it is.
 
I may be up for some multiplayer, but that is contingent on Burnout night being a go or not. For the record, I *just* finished the explosives levels last night and that's where I'm at in story mode.

I love the free costume with Sackboy's head up the turkey's ass.
 
I assume it's too much to ask for the turkey to come out fully cooked whenever sackboy dies in a fire or gets electrocuted, yeah?
 
Anyone have a problem downloading the Turkey costume? I get some random "an error occurred during the download operation). I also get same error when trying to download the Dead Space demo.
 
Nice Chimera, though the turkey looks...wrong. Either way, I'll have to get the free one later tonight. It took me a while to get the joke behind the turkey head, but it finally clicked. Dur.
 
A few of you asked about it and it's now officially done. As mentioned before, it's not that difficult. However, it's a fun little Christmas level. Please give it a try and give me some feedback. We won't make a whole lot of changes, but may consider some smaller things such as checkpoint spots, etc.

The name of the level is "School is out for Christmas" if you are searching. I'll be around tonight if anyone cares to play a little multiplayer as well. Enjoy.

Yea, saw your comment. Glad you liked it. Nothing special, but it's got a little bit of Christmas flare.

BTW, in our last playthrough before publishing, my girlfriend died. We both cracked up. We've both tested it upwards of 50 times. So her dying was one of those "huh?" moments. It's not hard to begin with, but add the muscle memory and it's almost impossible to mess up.
 
Don't ask me how I got them, but I have 18 LBP Kratos codes in my possession. If anyone would like a free code PM me and I will send them out until all of them are accounted for. One per customer and I'll try to respond back as soon as I can.

Hahahahahahaha. That's a funny costume. I laughed when I realized how the turkey was positioned on his head.

That would be interesting, to say the least, though I remember some other game making the character flattened when they got squished. Although, I do get a kick out of when Sackboy hits an electrified wall/floor or whatever and when you select the 'try again' thing.

Though if you see him close up when doing the try again thing, he looks like he's constipated and trying to force one out, just before he pops. :lol:
 
Nicely done, freaky. I'm two levels shy of acing every level in story mode. The last two (can't recall their names). Acing "The Bunker" took me far longer than it should have.

Once I get that done, then I'll move on to finally making a level.
 
My little sister recognized the turkey head from Friends, but it'll always be a Mr. Bean thing to me. Am I the only one?

I really like the free add-ons and I hope MM keeps it up for some time to come.

Friends? Is that a TV show or something? Never heard of it. But I concur with the image of Mr. Bean + turkey. :bouncy:

I bought this game a few days ago, and I'm really enjoying it. I've played a few CAG-created levels by freakyzeeky & SoCalDude (Warhawk stickers FTW :)). Other than sifting through the thread, would it be possible to put recommended/CAG member evels on the first page?
 
Does anyone else think that paying 2 bucks for costumes is just way too much?

Anyway, I just got the game. I'm gonna play it a lot night and hopefully check out some CAG levels.

A few of you left some nice messages on my level's feedback section. Thanks. A lot of the tags haven't been that hot, but overall I'm happy with it.

I really didn't consider how much work people put into their levels until I make one. Just looking at the work we did on mine is huge. But some other levels must have 20+ hours put into them.

For anyone else interested in checking it out, it's "School is out for Christmas". It's a pretty lighthearted kiddish level.

Remind me next time we're both online I'll look.. I think I made it with everything in my accessories menu. I know it wasn't with the stickers.

The thing is, I don't like creating levels, I like playing them. Shame.

or wait till the patch is out, then collaborate with someone who does like making levels and you'll get all the glory.

I'd love to know when the MP will be lagfree and when they are going to fix the scoring glitch (people have hundreds of thousands of points on every level).

I'm wrapping up story mode (now I'll be more open to MP) and creating is next on my list. I went ahead and ordered the guide to help find all the items I'm missing. Hopefully it's worth a damn
 
so i just got a PS3 wednesday and one of the games i really want is this. but i want to know if its still worth it even with random levels being deleted because of content or names. should i just hold off?
