I wish I waited until it hit $30 because of all the problems. However, if you are playing with another person at home it is still worth it. My problem is more with the network than the game itself. Nothing worst than have a good game going and then get a random disconnect.

Last night was the first time I ran into a lot of network issues. Disconnects, slowdowns, freezing. I've played before and while it was a little laggy with four this was horrible. It seems to work fine with two to three people usually. Actually it was laggy even with two people yesterday, I was playing with my brother who was right next to me on another PS3 and I would slap him but I wouldn't be doing anything till ten seconds later, while I did see myself slap him on his screen. I really hope they get all these issues fixed. It's a really fun game.
 
So dumb question. Got a new PS3 and i transfered over my save for LBP. How do i go about getting the Pumpkin and spaceman suits back again? Or is it impossible?

Look at your download history in the store, it'd be there if it's possible to redownload.
 
Phew... I just got my Play trophy. Only trophy I need now is the Party Person (play a level with 3 friends) could anyone help me get this?

Man, I screamed so many times on the Bunker. So fricken hard...

I'd work with you. You could probably cheat and add people you're already playing with to your buddy list, but that's not as fun. Suggest a time to get together and I'll let you know if I can make it.

Man, it's cool that you got like 1,500 plays. But that's still not a ton... and you got featured on like 4-5 blogs. How do these shitty levels have like 800,000+ plays? This whole "cool-levels" thing is bonked. I wish there was new levels on the front page every week. And the good ones stay on top and the crappier ones dwindle down some pages...

it's weird as hell... I don't know. The rating system makes no sense anymore to be honest >_

It’s not exactly broken, but it is deactivated at present.
Until we’re happy with server performance we’ve switched off a few online features, Play Create Share scoring being one, in order to help the service to remain stable. The good news is that we’re not far from reaching stability, so expect this to return soon. As soon as there’s an exact date for its return I’ll let you know.

Ahh good thing they are working on an online patch!
 
I got this game today.
And the controls are hard to get used to.
But it is, nevertheless, an awesome game.
 
I don't think this has been posted yet: It's something that most of us saw coming.

I want to get this tomarrow for 40 bucks at amazon but I want to know if you can still play mario style levels, or were they all deleted? I heard due to copywright a lot of cool levels were getting deleted. Also can I put and mp3 of my own on while others and I play my custom levels?
 
those will compliment my level nicely...

played a bit more tonight... nice to see alot of good stuff especially when playing things that got just published recently. I still think more people need to focus on making new functional machines to expand the game.

I want to start another level but I don't want to until I'm done with college classes this tuesday. I have no ideas ATM, but I'll think of something.

Should we initiate a CAG LBP Night? to check out new and interesting levels and that sort of thing? What night would work for you? I would probably have an hour or so to kill most nights after 9pm pst.
 
Maybe a LBP play night would be necessary. I already have all the trophies, but I want to play the game some more, and with people, it's always more fun, no matter the situation. Unless it's for specific prize bubbles (some of them are annoying to get).

I'll probably get the SF skins. I don't know why, but they appeal to me. I would probably get a level pack if they made it available for pay, too.

As far as levels coming back, I'm for that. I'd also like to see them add in a category feature for levels, and grandfather in older levels into the equation.

Examples: Trophy, Adventure, Series (levels that are part of a mini-series of levels), Puzzle
 
I need friends for one of these trophies? Who wants to play with me? :(

I finished the Play trophy but I haven't even considered the online trophies. I spent 4 weeks creating a level, not playing. Ready to play again, but I need help.
 
I'd be willing to play with people. The trophy I can't get is the trophy where you finish a level with 4 people NOT on your buddy list. It's impossible to get four people in a game to stay for a whole level if they don't know each other. I tried for 2 hours one night. Either people can't connect to me, not enough people can get in the level in time, or people will duck out because they don't care about anyone.

Haha, I saw that a while ago. My girlfriends mom sat down with me and watched the whole thing and translated the whole song... it's basically about; if I could go back and change the mistakes in my life, what would I do differently. I'll go help the ones I loved. ect. I don't remember everything... cool song.

IF YOU WANT THE PARTY PERSON TROPHY:

Send me a friend request on PSN (ProfessorMurder) and post here.

Starting at 6PM tonight, I'm going to start grouping people into threes. If I list you in a group, be sure to send and receive friend requests for all of the people in your party. Starting at 9PM, we'll begin with the groups in order that they'll be listed here.

If you particularly fancy being grouped with some other people let me know in advance. If your friend Nancy, who isn't on CAG, wants to get the trophy with you, please mention Nancy and make sure she sends friend requests to the relevant parties.

Any questions? We're just going to do a simple level like get a grip or somethin'; this ain't "get the 2x/3x/4x items" time, it's "get Party Person and then stop" time.

Or maybe other than me leading the whole thing, I'll pick out "group leaders" and we'll just have separate groups of 4. Might be easier that way.

Let's see how it goes. Post if you're interested.

A complete side note on the Party Person Trophy:

I got the trophy a while back, but I didn't have all three of the other players on my friends list. I looked at the Manage Friends menu and one of the people playing was actually the second player on somebody else's console. It said something like "so-and-so's best fwiend" or something similar. Since player one was on my friends list, it coutned the second player on their machine as being on my friends list, too. So if you have a second controller and someone willing to play, it might make this easier.

Oh, and you just have to finish a level. It doesn't have to be a story level, so do something like the tie jump.

Also make sure that everyone "wins" the level at least once so that everyone gets the "Top of the Class" trophy.

I'd love to be on tonight, but I'm not going to be home.
 
I'm being lured away with the promise of Thai food. My apologies, but I may not be back in time to play tonight.

Also, how do I heart other people as players? I had a cat help me get the last three items i needed in serpent shrine, and I wanted to heart them b/c I had so much trouble getting other players to grasp that concept. Plus I want hearts in return, as I'm 18 shy of the 30 I need for that one trophy.
