I signed up on the first day, not sure if they are still sending out e-mails, just wait a couple of days.

You really have out done yourself on this, and for that I am pleased.
I wish other services out there did this!
 
I entered my tag and it says it dosn't exist. I try to register it again and it says I have before...Is it not valid until I get my card? Any list of the retailers and discounts?

No, it should be valid.
I don't have my card yet (Not even the email!) and I can access the site no problem.
 
If anyone is wondering where they are....here is what customer support told me:

Thank you for your email regarding your Xbox Live Diamond registration.
There has been an overwhelming response for the Diamond program, and we
are getting cards out to registrants as quickly as possible.

Microsoft is continuing to approve registrations. The 2nd series of
gamers who meet the requirements should receive an approval confirmation
within the next couple of weeks.

I see that your gamertag is on the 2nd series of cards that are
currently in production! Please keep an eye out for your confirmation email to
let you know that your Diamond card is in the mail.

The 2nd series of registrants should receive their Diamond cards by the
end of April; depending on where you reside, delivery date may vary.

Please feel free to let me know if I can be of further assistance, and
thank you kindly for your patience.

Yeah, alot Xbox & 360 online gamers got advanced news of the card before the promotion actually became available, & officially opened. Xbox reps were posting the news early in every available xbox type forum, so it's untelling how many Xbox gamers were able to sign up before some others did.

I would guess the response of those who signed up was overwhelming, plus counting this isn't just a 360 exclusive promotion, but one for the original xbox and those who have a current LIVE for it also.
 
Got mine today too! I wonder now what to do with it... hopefully it gets me some good deals instead of awkward stares for using it.
 
I just received mine too. The funny thing is that I never received that confirmation email everyone else got.
 
Got mine a few days ago, been looking for deals, none of the coupons really shine. Alot of them which are good, are location specific only.
