Holy crap! This is the best sale I've seen on XBL since I got my 360 like 3 1/2 years ago.

I already had 'Splosion Man (bought it upon release - will never do that again!), but I picked up the Nirvana Pack #2, The CCR pack, Greed Corp, Portal (even though I have Orange Box and already beat Portal on that), and Puzzle Quest 2.

I am really tempted to get the TMNT game and maybe even Halo, which I don't actually own in any form.

But seriously, 160 points for arcade games that used to be 800 is incredible. They need to do this more often!

TMNT is definitely worth $2.

Just bought GTA! Woo woo!

I want Portal, Peggle, Serious Sam, Trials HD w/ DLC, Halo, Green Corp (looks interesting), but I only have 1800 points.

How is Serious Sam? How's the multiplayer community?

hm nothing in this sale really appealed to me. i got splosion man last holiday season when it was on sale (probably at like 400 ms points or something), and i was thinking about picking up TMNT, but after trying the demo and hearing a few lackluster reviews i decided not to.

i'm hoping that their are some better sales on newer/more popular games in the next month or two. i remember last year between december and january i got splosion man, mvc2, and shadow complex all on sale. heres hoping for shank, costume quest, comic jumper, and deathspank for atleast 50% off.

Quick question. If i were to pick up San Andreas, would i be able to be connected to LIVE and on voice chat while playing it?

No.

Serious Sam TFE/TSE is awesome, you will always be in a lobby to play with some people .

Check metacritic.com for reviews of it and then its your decision
No.
Thanks, I'll stick with my ps2 version then I guess.

Might pick up Secret of Monkey Island 2 I guess, was expecting more stuff to be on here.

I had to bite on Turtles and 'Splosion Man.

I'm thinking about getting Magic: The Gathering (never played it) or Madden NFL Arcade (not a football fan, but if it's like NFL Blitz, I might enjoy it), but I'm not sure.

I think I'm just getting excited about these low prices.
I shouldn't get portal because I plan on getting the orange box, Serious Sam seems way too twitchy and frantic for me, and I already have Halo on disc (framerate is horrible though).

That leaves me with Peggle, Trials, and Green corp to think about tomorrow

i think tehy made a mistake by splitting the deals, it would have been much more impressive if we woke up to find all the current deals at once, now it seems a bit meh, dont get me wrong, discounts from ms are always welcome, just doesnt seem to be the blowout we were all hoping for

Or was Turtles, Greed Corp and Splosion Man it?

hope you are right but i doubt they will add any more

Ya I don't know why he's going about announcing Black Friday deals at 6 if there is a vid on 360 mentioning todays deals and the deals are live already. I would love if there is more. Stubbs and Raze's Hell for 400!?

Doesn't Portal Still Alive have a few extras that the Orange Box portal doesn't???
So there's gonna be more deals or this is it?
It seems like there should be more deals since they haven't even tried to match psn's price of deathspank.
TMNT is definitely worth $2.
Yeah, I went ahead and got it. Why not!
Doesn't Portal Still Alive have a few extras that the Orange Box portal doesn't???
I think it has a few extra challenge levels. I just bought it again because I haven't played it in a while and might want to give it another spin and for 400 points I thought why not - new achievements and I don't have to find my Orange Box disc ;).
You can't get to XBL right now. The Windows Live login page is dead at the moment. Might luck out with doing it from your console.
Too bad - I was able to purchase everything I wanted from my computer (as I monitored the Amazon deals), turn on my 360, and have it all download a few hours ago. In fact, I may go and play Greed Corp right now while waiting for the 6:15 gaming deals. But, man, I should really sleep some time.
Doesn't Portal Still Alive have a few extras that the Orange Box portal doesn't???
It contains 14 challenge levels based on the free PC map pack. It also has completely different achievements than The Orange Box version.

edit: Oops, didn't see io's post. And, XBL is working fine for me, but I was already signed in.

Bit on GTA:SA and Turtles in Time. Considering Portal (no longer considering, went ahead and bit) even though I already have Orange Box for pc and 360. Then again, I have GTA:SA for ps2 and pc, probably even xbox but no idea where that disc went.

Already have Trials HD + dlc and strongly recommend it.

If you already have Halo on disc, is there any reason to pick up the Downloadable version? Any differences/plus or minuses other than no disc?
So there's gonna be more deals or this is it?
Yeah, this is it. On the dashboard there is a section for the one day sale and it includes Turtles, Splosion, Greed Corp, the CCR pack and everything else that's known to be on sale.
I don't even see turtles in time on that list.

Thanks TC, instant purchase for me.

I grabbed Splosion Man and CCR pack. Great deals.
Ditto. Even though I already bought a couple of CCR songs, I couldn't pass up the entire pack at that price.

Argh, I went to bed just a few minutes before these went live. I should have waited a little bit longer, because right now I can't sign into live. I'm about 1,000 miles from my Xbox, so that route is out. I hope it's fixed soon because I won't be around a computer all day.

Just added Fallout NV to my cart and it was still at the wrong price. I deleted it and now I'm locked out from adding another? Help!

Sign into xbox.com and add the games you want to your queue.
well the major has just confirmed this is all the discounted items, such an anti climax
Agreed, seemed like it was built up and now a letdown, no offense to the games in the deal, just figured there would be a bigger selection and was kinds hoping for Deathspank to be on sale.

edit: Just cleared my cache and got it. 2 years of using xbox.com daily and I never had this issue. I'll blame it on this borrowed computer I'm using.

nothin for me... alrdy have trials (its great btw)

tmnt looks like it will disappoint me and don't feel like pickin up greed corp.

maybe they'll have better deals around xmas.

Not sure about greed corp, possibly might pick it up before the end of the day if I see good things said about it. As it is, I got Monkey Island 2 and Turtles (got 'splosion man when it was 400 earlier in the year, and don't regret it since I have played it a fair bit).
