I just got the shipping confirmation for my Xbox that I ordered on Jan. 30!!!!!
Nice! hopefully I get my shipping confirm for my Zune I ordered on Jan 30th also!

I have a simple question, can you get a prize that you've ordered before the rule change again to the same address, or is the 1 prize per address retroactive.

You can order again. I ordered a Zune and sound bag when it was three per household and when it changed to one per household I was able to order them both again.

Wow you really like the soundbag that much? Is it pretty decent qualitiy? cause thats something i have been thinking of snagging for my ipod.

Yeah, it's great to listen to podcasts and the radio with other people. Though I prefer to plug my ears with noise canceling headphones for my music.
Thanks for the link. I was using a different site last night and it wasn't coming up with enough anagrams it only got me to 91%-97% per puzzle which was really driving me nuts because the missing word would always be one of the 5+ letter ones.
Going for anagram sites is one of the first things I looked for. Yes, I googled them too.
Does anyone know if the Rhythm Soundbag works with Creative Zen? I'm thinking of getting one.
Yep. It does. It should work with anything that uses a standard headphone jack.

Cool, ordered. Thanks. :)
Does the Vista come with SP1?
Yes, the SKU they send out (at least for me) is 66R-02261, if that helps. Seems to go for ~$170 on eBay.

is it both the 64 and 32 bit version? i got about 22k remaining and all nothing else interest me. and i don't want a refurb xbox.

i have 49000 right now going for the xbox so i'm thinking of getting the vista ultimate..selling it getting the money for the 360 and then keeping 21000 extra. What does everyone think?

well the ebay going price I would say is around $170-$180. So just a bit more and you'll have an Arcade

Thank everyone, I really appreciate the advice. I'm going to order Vista in the morning, and then sell it for 170ish and then the ebay fees will be like $12? so hopefully it will work :)

Ebay fees could be around $9. 3 bucks saved!
When I sold one of my Vista's in Sept for $175, it was $2 insertion + $7.44 final value fee.

I'd go with craigslist instead. I listed mine on there for $230 even though I only wanted $200 for it. A guy called me up and offered $200 for it. When removing the LSC sticker, peel all of the paper off and then use a big eraser over the glue a few times. Drafting erasers work best. it comes off and you can never tel there was anything there.

If it's on plastic, you could also try isopropyl alcohol. Gets sticker residue off of old cartridge games when I buy them second hand all the time.

Give me some tips to sell on craigslist?

I'm sure this question has been asked a million times, but I don't feel like looking through 200 pages. Any idea how often they update the prizes?

Luckily I "feel like" answering you. They update when they get stuff in. There's no way to tell when it will happen. Or maybe I feel like messing with you and there is a better answer.

Don't forget the Paypal fee's. You can't except a money order or anything on paper... eBay has not so cleverly found a way to milk more money out of auctions since they own Paypal. Heh, you can't even name your own price for shipping anymore, they tell you what it SHOULD cost.

I'd rather got the Craigslist route than get raped by eBay's self fulfilling policy.
can someone explain how i go about ordering frequent flier miles? Like do i just order them or do i like have to set up an account or something?
You have to set up an account to one of the FFM programs. When you order them off LSC they ask for an account number.

Well, what do you expect when you have people putting up auctions for DVDs that are dirt cheap, but the shipping is through the roof? Clearly the seller has to make money, but that's a dirty way to do it.

Has anyone ordered a deck of cards? I ordered a deck on 2/10 and was wondering how long it took others to get.

The reason I ask is that I didn't get a confirmation e-mail after ordering it...I usually get those immediately after I order something, but not this time with the cards.

I ordered 2 decks about 3 weeks before i recieved them. It might have been a little over 3 weeks...

I ordered a pack on 1/26 and received shipping information on Friday. It's coming USPS however so it may take a while to get here.

As for not getting the order confirmation check your account stats page, if it's listed there you should be fine.

I know this is OT and please forgive me for starting an OT discussion, but.....WHAT THE FRICK! When did ebay put forth those rules? Everything i sell on ebay ( i havent sold in about 2 months) but everything I do sell, I ONLY expect cash, personal check, and money order for the VERY REASONS mentioned above. It irritates me how ebay takes out so many fees FOR THE SELLER when using paypal, so i have not used paypal in forever (as a seller). This really sucks cause I have a bunch of games and game related stuff I was ready to slap on there. I see CAGS sell things in these forums (in the proper threads of course) maybe i should look into that :)

So....when did the nazi's impliment this paypal only thing?

It also has more to do with eBay desperately wanting to be more like Amazon than eBay caring about their customers getting ripped off... which is their own fault since no one forces them to ignore shipping charges when they bid on something.

Mark my words, eBay will eventually fade out auctions in favor of a fixed price marketplace exactly like Amazon. Trust me, I won't name all the reasons why I think this is because it would be even more off topic than this post, but the changes made to eventually get there are already in place.

I'll PM you about this, I'd like to hear more.

OT: No confirmation, or anything on a controller I ordered a month ago

But they have that in Half.com. And they were actively trying to get rid of that a few months before they started all the weird changes to eBay. People threatened to burn down corporate office, and eBay said never mind and put down a bunch of other changes to Half (like raising their cut).
New prize; Zune AC adapter is up there for 8,900 points.
I would suggest getting the dock instead, since it also comes with the AC adapter and costs less points.

After reading the review on Amazon, it appears this doesn't come with a cable (the sync cable) that's necessary to use it. Definitely just going to get the dock pack. Thanks erehwon.
They need to price the AC adapter at 2000. ROFL at 8900!!
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting a really uneasy feeling that the overpriced zune adapter is the sign of a new round of ticket inflation for the prize mall.
