it's not his home phone, it's his public work number so it's not like you're harassing him. he wouldn't list it if he didn't expect to get calls related to his job.

YAY Forums are back!

I need some advice. My LSC account is on the fritz. First, when I try to play a game, the security thing pops up, but shows no security code. Also, I cant change my avatar pic. Every time I try to, it directs me to a page that says, " An error has occurred, customer service has been notified." It has been like that since the forums went down and I still cant do anything. My question is should I contact the Help Desk and tell them whats going on? I'm 3k from my 360 and I dont want to give them an excuse to ban me and 0 my account. Responces are GREATLY appreciated.

I would say it takes about 3 to 4 weeks. I ordered one on Jan. 19 and it hasn't arrived either.

I've had a different problem for around the same time period... every time I finish a game it comes up with a "communication error" and doesn't save the score. Next time I start it up, it's the same puzzle again.

From what I've read, it's a flash issue, and uninstalling and reinstalling flash helps... did that, hasn't changed a thing. Perhaps they've been having some sort of error?

I'm sitting on 30,600 something points on my first account, and for some reason, it won't accumulate any more points. :bomb:

I didn't uninstall flash, but I did clear my temporary files and cookies. That didn't help.

But then I set up a new account...yep, that one works fine.
 
I started doing this a couple weeks ago and quickly earned a controller. Question for those who've been doing this for awhile, is there a limit on ordering each item? I recall seeing something about it, but I just want to know if I could for sure get more than one controller.

to be so close to a 360 and not be able to get it would be tragic. have you tried from a diff comp?

the website states it's one item per household. so far, only one guy has said that he got multiple contollers sent to the same place, i've tried and am still waiting on my order.

Stupid "communication error" whenever i try and save my score. Seems like a lot of other people are getting this. At least i got my 360 order placed in, maybe they will fix the error, so i can get more crap.
 
so other people than me are experiencing problems with LSC? With me, its not just the games, my avatar cant be changed so its something with my account. I tried playing a game without signing in and it showed the security thing just fine. I think i'll give it another week before I send in a help ticket or if anyone has already sent one, any updates are welcome.

I got the same thing, but didnt have a URL attached to it so I didn't do it.
 
Do you guys also experience the "Communication Error The server is not responding. Please try again later." message?

Everytime I play any game, such as Flexicon, the same error always pops up. I can't somehow earn any tickets. I even tried logging in using the Live Search Toolbar to earn some tickets through searching but I can't seem to earn any.

I also tried logging in using different computers and browsers (cookies and cache emptied first) with updated Adobe Flash but the same thing keeps on happening. It's been more than 4 days since this first began to happen.

Anybody in here experience what I'm currently experiencing as well?
 
Hm... I ordered my 360 controller on te 27th on December... Should it be getting here soon? I never got a shipping Email... :/ My account is fine though >_>

The "Communication Error" was mentioned a page or two ago.

I've been unable to earn points on my account since Wednesday. But I started a new account yesterday, and that one works fine. So I'm a little bit concerned that this is some kind of accusation that I cheated with the first account.

Ok. So many users are affected by this "Communication Error" thing. What seems to be the matter? I mean Frog Ribs's newly created account is not affected but the old one is. Is this 'account lockup' caused by Microsoft accusing users of cheating? No bots or hacks used on my part. All games were legit. What's the remedy to this issue?

I am not recieving the "Communication Error", but I cant play any of the games either around the same time you have been. To see if we got the same problem, try changing your avatar. If you get an error message, its something on M$'s end. The only solution I know of is to either wait for it to be fixed or create a help desk ticket in the Help section.

exact thing happening to me with one acct giving the error but new acct works fine. also, i tried changing avatar like someone suggested and got " An error has occurred, customer service has been notified." finally, did anybody receive a controller during january? it seems like their fast shipping that lasted 2 months is over.

Aside from the issues that I have mentioned a while ago, I also can't seem to change my avatar as well.

When I tried changing my avatar, I encountered the following error message:
An error has occurred, customer service has been notified.
So what is the root cause of these problems?

There is something going on in the site itself. What, I do not know. The next step would be to ask them directly.

Has anyone here gotten anything recently? I'm planning to finish getting the points for the Xbox as soon as my controller gets here... If it doesn't come, I'm not going to waste my time getting the other 13k. -.-

I ordered the lx-3000 headset on the 31st of december and the vx-6000 on the 4th of December and haven't gotten either of them yet. :cry:

I submitted a support request yesterday. I'll post whatever response I get.
 
As far as shipping anything from LSC, its a bit of a gamble. M$ and the company that they used to do this promo site is veeeeery stingy with giving people free stuff. All you can really do is order it and hope it goes through OK. Just be patient for at least 3 months then start the complain train :)

EDIT: congrats NY Giants for winning the Super Bowl. (not into football, but fyi for every1)

hopefully this stuff will be coming soon...or at least the controller and KB.

yeah, thanks for the update, that's encouraging that at least they have some kind of email dedicated to dealing with it. i'm thinking they'll prob get their shite together sometime in feb. january is kind of a slack month cause the fiscal year is starting over, but in feb they should come through.

Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be an error like on Seekadoo. They've known of that problem since some time last year and they haven't fixed it. I don't think it's really a priority for them. If you think about it, as long as you play and not receive your tickets, they still get the credit for the searches and you get nothing.

I'm the opposite. Once I get to the game, the security thing doesn't show anything at the beginning so I cant even play.

Yes, i know how you feel, waiting for something you want in the mail. With LSC, their shipping department isn't exacly deliver next day. I would wait the 12 weeks (aka 3 months) till i start worrying.
 
what i usually do with this stuff IE waiting forever for something to come, get occupied on something else, try that ds/gba game thats been gathering dust or try to get a 'free ipod' or something else to keep you busy.

lol but this time i cant even do that....im dying for that xbox

None that I know. I havent been able to play any for about a week so I couldnt say.

I know when I finally order my 360, i wont be able to wait..well maybe I will since i will hopefully have SSBB by then XD. Then ill be busy for a while.
