Met a CAGer at both locations (same guy). I think his name was Jason but forgot his CAG ID. Nice guy, pointed out Lunar and Trace Memory for me. I Picked out AW for him.

I was at the Sunnyvale a minute or two earlier than he was but he was able to grab Metroid before to saw it. Just bad luck starting at the wrong end of the rack. That and AW were the ones I was really hoping for so 1 out of 2 wasn't bad.

I'll probably put the other non-hot titles up on my employee market place and see if I can make a couple bucks on each just to cover my gas and time, no gouging by me unless someone is interested in them, same deal plus shipping which will probably be about $15 or so each.

Thanks to the OP for the early warning (helps to be in CA sometimes) and to the CAGer I met today (if you find Metroid PB, PM me!).

Well, it's a sequel not a port. I really enjoyed what I played of it, so I'd say it's well worth $9.

On a personal level, I work in the morning and won't make it til the afternoon, if then. I already noted that I do appreciate the information....I just don't understand withholding the info for a few hours. He took the time to post here indicating he will give a major update later this evening. Why waste time posting that when you can just post what the update will be. As I said, I'm not asking for a defined list, just what it is we're waiting on.

FFTA is pretty decent. The story is too "kiddied up" compared to the ps1 version, in my opinion, but you get more than your money's worth out of it because the gameplay is pretty darn good.

Snagged Trace Memory, King of Swing, FFIV, and Phantasia!

I hit the Elk Grove CC in Sacramento and as of about 12:30 they still have a couple DK's, Tales, FF's. I also saw a couple Guilty Gear's, Drill Dozers, GTAs, pac and rolls, and Dr. Marios. Didn't see any Metroid Pinballs, Mario Party Advance, or Lunar's though.

Yeah they were pulling UMDs at my store as well. However, it would be strange for CC employees to actually know about a sale before it happens (or even while). That must mean that the psp games wont be on sale - JK. I hope they are on sale, I was really wanting a few psp games.

It's probably been mentioned, but keep in mind that digging for the games you want is a good idea. Both of the copies of GTA in the store I went to this morning were hidden behind a copy of Disney Princesses. ;)

He probably wants to build suspense...and you've got to admit, it seems to be working judging from the reactions here.

It sucks that you might not be able to take advantage of it, but that's how things go here. Hell, this is the first time I've found anything via a Circuit City clearance, so it's all a matter of luck. Timing sure isn't it - I've been there at opening before to find that nothing was marked down or ringing up at lower prices.

unfortunately lunar legends (the gba lunar) isn't on sale... it's lunar: dragon song for ds. hopefully that clears things up for you.

I'm suprised that lasted so long. Phantasy Star Collection was one of those $4.99 games from a couple years ago.
 
I missed out on Drill Dozer and Pokemon Saphire. If anyone has extras let me know what your looking for I may have it or might be able to get it. I'll let you know.

This is probaly on FW or something because there are 15,000+ views that sucks.

Also I went to two different CC one in Jefferson, Culver City and La Cienega, Los Angeles. The Jefferson had two guys by the DS/GBA games when I got there no problem right. Wrong they had some games in their hands and I thought they were going to buy them. So I look and pick up two games and go to the clearance section and they pass by me with nothing in their hands. So I think they are hiding games and I go back and look through and found FFIV hid. So I bought it so thanks for doing that guys I would have probably not have gone back.

Then I go to the La Cienega one and I see a guy by the DS stuff but I go through the GBA stuff looking for Drill Dozer. Nothing there so I go to the DS section and look down and this guy has a basket full of stuff. I start to go through the stuff and there is not much. He sees me and says I perfect much have everything what do you want. So I name off Drill Dozer, he has 3 or 4, then Guilty Gear he says he has it but can't find it. So I ask him if he is CAG and he says, "nah a friend told me about it. I don't go to that forum." Lucky for me he left a couple and I bought them.

These people will not play these games and will probably sell them on Ebay and the CAGs that actually want to play them can't get them cheap. I just sucks if I was a couple minutes late I would have probably got nothing.

Yep, Most of the stuff is around at one or another. I didn't go to Metrocenter. No Drill Dozers though. What are you looking for?

picked up most of the games on the list, cannot find driller drozer GBA. i even picked up 2 of eye toy & eye toy antigrave for $8.96 each. MY cc still has like 10 of eye toy and 3-4 eyetoy antigrave. If anybody can find driller drozer, time crisis zone or advanced wars dsfor me. We probably can do a trade. Do not forget to use the 15 off 100 coupon CC handed out a few weeks ago. My bank account just hates me.

Just too bad these games wasnt 5 bucks each. I would of grabbed a lot more for 5 bucks then 10. THere were around 5 DS games i would of got at 5 bucks BUT they are too much at 9 : )
 
I too went today on the small list from last night. Got Tales of Phantasia, FFIV, and Guilty Gear along with Incredible Hulk UD for PS2. Now I got to go back and get more from the updated list. I need a way to get on the internet while I'm out so I can check things anytime. Now I got to go back for more gaming goodness. My wallet is dying.....

I've actually been scouring the forums at FW, SD, anandtech, etc. for any mention, since they tend to kill deals within hours. so far, it's only been posted on one site (bytesizedeals) that I know of, so I'm guessing it's just a couple of offenders here and there.
 
I picked up the last Puzzle League which I had been wanting for so long. I also picked up Sword of Mana, Final Fantasy Tactics, Metroid Pinball, Pac n roll, Yoshi Topsy Turvy, and Drill Dozer.

I want Meteos and Metroid Zero Mission. There are still more copies of Metroid Pinball and Drill Dozer if someone wants to trade I can go back and get the others. PM me and post here. There was also Polarium there too, but feh.

edit: oh and Sigma Star Saga is there too. Dangit, looking at the reviews it looks like I shouldn't have picked up Sword of Mana, I'll probably just return it.
 
Jesus, I just spent fifty bucks on the PS2 sale a week or so ago-- are they trying to bankrupt me? If so, mission accomplished.
 
my CC wasn't to good on DS games, carry more consoles than ds, got tiger woods, ultimate spider, pac n roll, texas holdem, but really wanted meotos and metroid pinball but none there. When I did the price check the guy recognized me and wanted to know where I found out about deals, course with Pride I said CAG, gave him the link, maybe he can help with inside news if he joins.
 
humm... east cost cags are more than likely off from work and checkin' out the sales. gonna hit up another cc in 13 mins.
 
As long as this deal is still good i don't want to see anybody fucking digging it, redditing it, stumbleupon it, magnolia, fatwallet, slickdeals, shit anything. Even if CAG gets credit, this should be kept within the confines of CAG for as long as possible

I'd be willing to bet it's already too late. Like was mentioned earlier, it's a bit hard to believe that CAG alone could generate 15,000+ views of this thread in one day. Possible, maybe, but that seems like a lot even for the traffic this site gets.

Come to think of it...if anyone does see it posted on the other sites, could you post the link in this thread? We need to know who to seek our vengeance from. ;)
