Yeah, still can't get it to load and already sent them an email asking them if they had any suggestions, I just get "Unable to load page" "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at lockerz.com." which is what happened when CAG wouldn't load a while back.
I ran a traceroute and it seems to start getting funky and timing out after I hit 2 Amazon servers.
 
Looks like nothing changed while I was unable to access the site:

Yeah, we're looking at a frickin' 10 day window for the redemption.

It's Summertime. There's no way that I'm gonna be sitting by my computer for the next 10 days waiting for the redemption. Which means that unless I have the outrageous good luck to be visiting Lockerz as the redemption goes live, I'm gonna miss it.

Gee, I sure am glad that I bought something at lockerz in order to get in on this bonus redemption.

I wanna ask them if they ever plan to feature any Apple products. I know that the answer is almost certainly gonna be no, because of Apple's fanatical resistance against having their products sold below what they set they prices at. But it can’t hurt to ask, right?

If I don’t get anything in the upcoming redemptions, (almost a certainty) I’m thinking of just cashing out my ptz on stuff in shop. I’d like to know if an ipod touch might be a possibility.

That's the reason I've stopped on the redemptions. When they throw double or triple ptz to you, it's easy to rack up a decent amount in a few days and get something decent in shop. Sure, it's no iTouch or Macbook, but a few days of 'watching' videos to redeem a game or a smaller electronic item isn't bad in my book. Plus, the DVD selection is pretty awesome this week.

You can find the way to send em a question about shop at the bottom bar, under the 'contact us' link. It usually takes about 5 - 6 days to get a reply, if you do, as I'm waiting to be answered about a missing shop item :lol: Knock on wood...
 
So I log onto lockers and it says that the bonus redemption has been live for one minute. I log onto the redemption page and anything of interest was already gone. why am I not surprised?
 
They still have plenty of iphone skins and wallpapers left. Remember people, they accidentally over-ordered.

Boy do I feel like a fool for trying to get into this redemption.
 
damnit I was hoping that if I was late I could at least get a pair of sandals but those are sold out too! I settled for an iphone skin, maybe I'll give it to my roommate or ebay it for a few $ lol

Alright so I figure I'm just going to use my points in the shop, because after reading here it's obvious the redemption isn't going to work for me. I figure I'll either get a game/dvd or some headphones. Maybe a t-shirt too, but does anybody know about the quality of the shirts on their site? I don't want to get some paper thin shirt

I'm sure the shirts are pretty crappy, since they're like the popular music tees... Usually those aren't that thick... The stuff they sell at Hot Topic I'm sure is higher quality, so use that as a guide... Then again, I never ordered one, but I'm just going by the price of them.

Well its a good thing I didnt bother with the redemption. I went ahead & just spent my points in SHOP on a game. Probably done with this site.. Took 5000 points for a $60 game.

As for the ptz increase, I could definitely see it... I don't know if the DVD fiasco was a mix up or not, but last month I was able to order two DVDs for around 600 ptz, and now DVDs are between 700 - 2500 ptz... So an increase could be on the way, especially since they're adding 2 new ways soon to earn ptz... Just don't ask what they are...
 
lol.....the bonus shop redemption is still going on it seems. i went to ptzz place to see if they were gonna have anything different for the general redemption and it told me i wasn't in this redemption.

alpha protocol for 360 has went up to $60. dang, i was gonna try to get enough points to get that for free. i wondered if it was a mistake at the $20 is was earlier, but it went kept coming back in stock at the same price. anyone able to get it when it was $20? they cancel your order or no?
 
I was trying to get Alpha Protocol at $20 as well, but it seems I missed out. Just ordered Crackdown 2 though, let's hope it doesn't get canceled.

Yeah, I'd be more than thrilled if I do get it. I've redeemed paypal a few times with no problems, but never more than $100.

Probably going to roll the dice and blow the rest of my ptz on a game or two from the shop. Lockerz is getting to be too much for me these days. I've had a good run.
 
200 Bucks!!! Wow, I'd say that you've made out alright on lockerz.

I've been a member since Jan 1st and I still haven't been able to redeem for anything yet. If I could get an auto form filler to work on the site, I might have a better shot. I've twice gotten to the point where I've started to fill out a form on some prize, and by the time I've gotten it all filled in, it's "fresh out".

I signed up back whenever it started and redemptions used to be so much more painless. I've actually managed to get a good haul for what little work was involved though, so i can't complain.

Between random redemption times, autofill, alerters, and who knows what bots/hack there are it's just crazy. Most of the time anymore it seems like you basically have to alter time itself just to get something.

I've had a bit of luck, too. I remember back when games were 60 ptz each, heh. I'm going to milk it out until my Z-list status is gone and then I'm going to call it quits too. I don't think I can find another 12 people to invite...

No big deal for me. I didn't achieve Z-list status until Feb 10th. I had already decided that I'd finish up on lockerz by the end of this year. So I guess it wont effect me.

In fact, I've been giving serious thought to just cashing out like others here have talked about. I've never been able to get anything in the redemptions, and it looks like it's only gonna be getting harder and harder from this point on.

Haha, the multiple responses I've gotten trying to get the correct tracking number for one of my items have been horrible. Each time I ask for the right tracking number or a refund since I never got my item, the person keeps saying "I'll receive an E-mail with tracking numbers for the items a few weeks after ordering the items"... Well, I received that E-mail but it has two of the same tracking numbers... "Don't worry, you will receive an E-mail with tracking numbers a few weeks after ordering the items". I want to crap in that person's DVD drive :bomb:
 
Yeah, Lockerz support can be pretty ridiculous. Although, they were helpful once when I got a "you cheated" email on a PSP and I asked the guy to double check the cancellation. The next day I got a tracking email.

Looking at the comments on their facebook page, I can only imagine some of the emails they must get.
 
Well I decided to hell with it and bought a hat I really liked and was super cheap comparitively (850 points for a $21 hat, 2,000 points for a $20 usb drive...) and red dead redemption with my points this morning. Still have about a thousand to burn, I should be able to get close to a cheap game soon, especially since tripple points are still going on for some reason...
 
quick question. did anyone receive a receipt for the bonus redemption last week. I redeemed $50 paypal. My points were deducted but didnt get an email confirming. also, I bought the new xbox on shop they haven't charged my paypal account. How long will it take. I bet they dont have it in stock and it will take like 30 days for them to send it. How fast do you get your items when you buy on shop???

you probably wont get a receipt until sometime after the general redemption, i believe they usually try to do everything together.

I dont know when you will get charged for your order. you probably wont receive you xbox until 30 days after you ordered it, if they dont have it in stock it will obviously be longer. And since this is Lockerz, if they dont have it in stock they might accuse you of cheating.;)

That's probably the best answer, unless somebody who did buy something and received it can say different. I don't see why they wouldn't charge you right away, but ~20 days if you don't receive a confirmation E-mail, send them a message and wait. And another message and wait longer...


I picked up a Harajuku Lovers tank for cheap, just looking to get rid of the rest of my ptz. I'll either sell it or find somebody to give it to.
 
lol. i was expecting long delays. The only reasons i bought the 360 slim on shop was because of doulbe points and now that it will take like 30 days to ship plus another 30 days to receive the ptz on my account it would have taken like 2 months. lol. at least we can hope by then they would sort all the shit out and have decent redeptions not 5 second redemptions. Altough the shop bonus redeption was a good time to redeem. I signed in just on time but since it did it from lockerz website I had to redirect to the ptz place but it took me like 10 seconds to sign in since I had to fill out the email and pass and when I did the 75 paypal was still in stock but then i filled it out and it was out. but 50 was still in stock so I redeemed that. I could only imagine what i could have gotten if i went directly and used roboform to sign in. maybe I could have had a chance at the 1000 paypal or Imac. but now that i bought the 360 hopefully there is another bonus redeption and i might get lucky. sorry for some spelling errors to lazy to correct them. its not that i cant write.
 
just wondering is there a certain time or time range that they normally do the redemption at? I would assume if they do it before 5:30 eastern then many will miss out because of work
 
Well from what I recall it's usually around the evening/night time. So, if the redemption was to happen today then it'd be like in either 3-6 hours from now.
