also does anyone have any info on the extended version of LOTR:Retun of the King, you know the one in the box with the nice gold lettering
You can get Hellboy as part of a 3 used DVD's for $25 at blockbuster, I THINK I saw an ad for the star wars trilogy for $35 at FYE, and there is a topic going around for seinfeld seasons 1-3 for like $75. Try used DVD stores for the rest.

"also does anyone have any info on the extended version of LOTR:Retun of the King, you know the one in the box with the nice gold lettering"
Isnt released quite yet... few more months

Boy Meet World Season 1 just came out a little while ago (a week?) So I dunno how you're going to find a deal for Season 2 so soon. Does it even have a release date yet?

And for full screen dvds, they sometimes come out later than their wide screen counterparts. No clue as to why, its just something I noticed.

this page is officially the david post dvd page this page will be used too post the best prices for dvds i want and update my list best on what i want and what i have gotten, *OFFICIAL*

Nov. 23rd = Season 2
I think thats also the same day Home Improvement: Season 1 comes out \:D/
Home Improvement is the greatest example of something that's not nearly as good as you remember it to be. God, what a horrible show, yet everyone loved it.

You should die. Home Improvement is an awesome show, and I still watch it daily on TV.

Boy Meets World is indeed still a great show to watch, even with all the plot holes, it's still a great show to watch from beginning to end. My mom picked up the first season for me from Best Buy for $35.99, but I have yet to open it. :(

Home Improvement was a great show, years and years ago. I have seen every episode at least a dozen times, and I am not kidding. After seeing them so many times, they get annoying as hell.

Peter Jackson, the trilogy director, said it's coming in Dec., but it hasn't been officially announced yet. There will be a full 50 min. of new material incorporated into the film.

If a movie is filmed in widescreen get it in widescreen. Its the only way to watch watch it.

so far the only godzilla movie i havent seen is the new mechagodzilla one from the third series, there are three series if i remeber, ones called heshi and ones called something else and then there is the newer one
heshi i think has like 18 movies the original godzilla too tytanosaurus, the one after is godzilla 1985 too destroyah, and then the even newer one is from godzilla 2000 too mechagodzilla and its still going but not in a continuous storyline, did i get that all right

You did pretty well. The orginal series is called the Showa series. It has Godzilla: King of the Montsters, Godzilla Raids Again, King Kong vs Godzilla, Godzilla vs Mothra, Ghidorah the Three Headed Monster, Godzilla vs Monster Zero, Godzilla vs the Sea Monster, Son of Godzilla, Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla's Revenge, Godzilla vs the Smog Monster, Godzilla vs Gigan, Godzilla vs Megalon, Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla, and Terror of MechaGodzilla (Its the one with Titanosaurus). Most of them are in more or less in the same storyline.
The Heisei series starts with Godzilla 1985, then continues with Godzilla vs Biollante, Godzilla vs King Ghidorah, Godzilla vs Mothra, Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla 2, Godzilla vs SpaceGodzilla, Godzilla vs Destroyah. They are all the same storyline, several characters appear in several of these films. The orginal 1954 Godzilla is in this storyline.
The current series has Godzilla 2000, Godzilla X Megagurius, Godzilla Mothra King Ghidorah, Godzilla X Mechagodzilla, Godzilla X Mothra X MechaGodzilla: Tokyo SOS (which should be coming out on DVD later this year or early next year), and Godzilla: Final Wars will be released this winter in Japan for Godzilla's 50th anniversary. The Godzilla in my avatar is from Final Wars, and the picture in my sig is of most of the kaiju that will be in Final Wars. The only one movies in this storyline that are related are the Mechagodzilla films.
If anyone is intrested in seeing a Final Wars trailer go here:
http://www.monsterzero.us/editorials/editorials.php?catID=Nws&subCatID=15&contentID=527
Its only 19 seconds, and its pretty cool. I would not be supprised if we saw Final Wars in Amercian theaters in the next year or two, so you might want to check out the link.
make sure you buy Seinfeld 1&2 with 3 in some gift box, then you get pepper and salt shakers from Monk's !!
ill get em from best buy, it will be cheaper im almost sure

so far ive not seen 2 godzilla films then, dammit, mind filling me in on the plot of godzilla vs mechagodzilla 3, godzilla vs mothra vs mechagodzilla:sos and final wars (which looks amazing)

Personally I hate widescreen. I don't like the annoying black bars at the top and bottom of my tv. If you have a widescreen tv, though, then by all means get the widescreen version.

The basic story line in GxMG (Its out on DVD, BB should have it) is that in order to fight Godzilla the bones of the orginal were taken from Tokyo Bay and used to make the new MechaGodzilla (called Kiryu). In his chest is the absolute zero cannon, which they hope to use to freeze Godzilla and then shatter him. In their first encounter Kiryu goes mad because the orginal Godzilla DNA takes over and Kiryu goes on a rampage, destroying everything until it runs out of power. They fix him, and when Godzilla returns and the army cant stop him they decide to send Kiryu. They are able to drive Godzilla off.

In Tokyo SOS (which I was lucky enough to see at G-Fest) Mothra goes to Japan, and the military try to stop her unsuccessfully. Mothra's twin faries visit Dr. Chujo who was in the orginal Mothra film (not the vs Godzilla film, but the one with just Mothra). They tell him that Kiryu is disrupting the natural order by having the orginal Godzilla's skeleton and the bones should be returned to the sea.
However, Godzilla returns to Japan, and Mothra comes to help protect. Mothra starts to loose the fight, and the Prime Minster orders Kiryu to help Mothra. Two Mothra larvae hatch and swim to Japan. During the battle the adult Mothra dies to protect her children.
***ENDING SPOILERS***

MechaGodzilla hits Godzilla in the chest where he was hurt by the Absolute Zero Cannon in the last movie, and the Mothra larvae are able to use their silk to wrap Godzilla in a cacoon. The dead Godzilla's DNA takes over again, and he takes Godzilla and they both fall into the depths of the ocean. The Mothra larvae return home

***END SPOILERS***

Detailed story of Tokyo SOS
As for Final Wars its not out yet in Japan, but it will have a ton of kaiju in it (all of the ones in my sig plus a few more like the 1998 Godzilla). There will be lots of battles. It is believed that Godzilla will go on a rampage after Minya (his "son") is killed. Several non Japanese cities will be in it, including New York City and Sydney. If Im remembering correctly the aliens are the ones from Godzilla vs Monster Zero. Check out the link I posted on my earler post for the trailer.

Its very cool and only about three Mb, so even those with 56k should watch it.

****Godzilla: Final Wars Spoilers****

Monster X is actually Kaiser Ghidorah, a four legged version of King Ghidorah. You will have to scroll down a little bit to find the report that states it.

****End Spoilers****
