I'm looking forward to buying a new 120GB Xbox 360 and selling off my 20GB 360.

If I buy the new Elite, does it include a cable to transfer my saves from the 20GB over to the new one? Or will I have to buy a separate cable?

you can get the transfer kit for free from ms when you get an elite
why dont you just upgrade the hdd instead of buying a whole new 360?
If he has a pre-falcon board, it may not be a bad idea.

Especially since Circuit City has the 120 GB hard drive for $85 with in-store coupon...

really? is that the 15$ off of 100$? might have to get a larger hdd from there tomorrow.
Question...

If I transfer my 20gb to my new 120gb do I lose anything that was pre-loaded on the 120gb?

Thanks
Yes.

Damn.

Any idea what exactly I'll be deleting? I haven't opened the package yet, still debating if I want to keep it. lol

i would probably just go with an arcade 360 and buy a seperate 120gb hdd because the arcades are supposed to be built the best according to what everybody says and my personal opinion on my second 360 purchase. The arcade is supposed to run quiter, cooler, less chance of RROD, less chance of drive failure. The only real positive for getting the elite is the hdmi/audio hookup connector which allows you to split the audio to something other than your tv and it comes with a headset.
My purchase was the arcade console, the HDD, and a hdmi cord for $5 shipped from ebay and i love it.

i heard the arcade are the loudest, and cheapest made i heard is best to buy the pro or elite, I AM NOT SURE is just what i hear:bouncy: i bought a 60 gb pro i traded in my old one that was fucked, but stil worked good enough to get 120 from gamestop, i feel sorry for the poor bastard that gets it though, but i had to do it. even with buying a new one i still have only payed about $260 for both consoles. (i got my first one when they first came out from circuit city online, the spring loaded door for the controller ports was broken and they fucked up and refunded all but my $60 shipping =) and replaced it)

A buddy of mine just bought an arcade and he said it is very loud. I have an early 360 and I think it just depends on the game really. My system is loud on some, not on others.

Or you local Target may be clearing out the drive for $45.

If you want to get a new 360 in addition to the 120 gb with all of the benefits of having a new 360 its still not to late to get in on this deal from Gamestop. I bought a 60 gb and will end up having only spent about $66 after trading the games & extras to Gamestop & Ebay. Of course add $14 to that now since its too late to get Rainbow Six Vegas 2 so $80. So with Elite $180. That's if you really want a new 360 and not just the HDD. http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=204776

By now I'm guessing most every Target in the world has sold out of the 120 GB HDD long ago. Don't waste too much time looking, that information is kinda old.

Wombat said on the CAGCast he got one last week so it's not out of the realm of possibility but yeah likely they are gone by now.
