It was good I am partial to Final Fantasy VI myself or Final Fantasy III as it is called in North America. Thankfully most of the PS Final Fantasy games are on Steam now.

 
tactics is not considered main series 1-14 and soon to be 15 in a year or so are the main series and from all data that ive found of the original 9 games only FF3 didnt make an appearance on the original Playstation system meaning 8 titles in total but since there seems to be some conflict going on somewhere lets alter the question abit

of the original 9 games which game gave birth to a spinoff title on the playstation 2 system that was not a typical rpg style game?

Oh I don't like steam for them I break out the ps1 for nostalgia reasons.

Can't beat playing the game on the console it was released for. Even if the graphics are terrible these days the gameplay is still amazing.

i still break out Legend of Dragoon on a ps emulator every once in awhile sadly i dont have a ps1 =(
