The new $2 games were interesting even if you didn't own an N-Gage system, but $5 per game makes purchasing one of these a lot more questionable.

Back when the $2 games showed up, I had considered buying some to sell to someone else for a small profit...but then I realized that I've never seen anyone with an N-gage in my city, ever. ;)

The funny part is that on some of the games, the used price is over 3 times higher than the new price. If I owned an N-Gage I would pick some up, but luckily I don't own one.

Wow! Thanks OP. I had been looking at most of those games for a while, but just couldn't bring myself to pay $15. I grabbed all of them except FIFA. Good lookin' out PimpBot.

Good deal, grabbed them all. I've got myself a nice collection of N-Gage games lined up. Now all I have to do is get around to buying an actual N-Gage unit.

Good find - if you actually have the system. I would have bought these + the N-Gage if it wasn't too high. But the system still costs 100 at eb.

Awesome post! These games were all full price yesterday, so this is NOT common knowledge but a sudden (and likely very temporary) price drop. Great catch. Picked up one of each.

Grave, that's a great sig pic!

N-Gage Forver!!!

Damn. If they were 3$ less a piece I would have bought them all, but atleast these ngage games are better quality then the last ones. All I would need is xmen legends and worms world party if I bought the ones currently listed.
Hah hah, thanks man. I made it myself last week. It was my first sig I've ever made, and I think it came out decently.
Decent is an understatement. It is damn good IMO. :applause:

I don't own an N-Gage but Pocket Kingdom is a game that has interested me. I may order it when I get home. Thanks!

Anyone else think this might be an attempt to liquidate N-gage games since EB is going to pull out? I don't hate the N-Gage like other people do but dunno, it just seems a bit low. After all they're losing money on subsidizing the hardware and if the software is that cheap...

Maybe, but it's more likely a temp price drop. It's happened before with N-gage games...there were a bunch that were $2 for a short while. :)

I see, I actually pondered getting a QD once since I needed a cellphone but opted for the Razr instead =/. a Little part of me wishes I got the QD so I could jump on this deal heh. I guess they're running this so more people buy N-gages ;) I guess it's almost working for me

I think this is a liquidation. N-Gage is losing business. I wouldnt be surprised if its not around next year.

With what Nokia did at E3 this year, the N-Gage platform looks like it's not only going to be around but will expand, as well. Nokia is really behind the N-Gage, and it doesn't look like they are afraid to go through the long haul with it.
Anyone know where to find the system itself for cheap?
Retail is only $99 which is a very good deal considering the prices of GSM phones these days but check ebay, you'll find some for cheaper.
Sorry for this shameless plug, but I just put one of my N-Gage bundles on ebay. It's an original N-Gage, with battery charger, Kingston 128 MMC, Kingston MMC reader, Tomb Raider and Tony Hawk.

If any CAGs buy it, I'll give them free shipping.
link? hehe

i am all over this... i hope the prices dont go up before i get my paycheck... i dont know why people rip the ngage all the time, its actually a really good system
Pocket Kingdom and Pathway to Glory are both excellent games.
Colin McCrae is really good, too.

I would bet the vast majority of people who rip on the Ngage haven't even touched one yet.

Either that or they played Pandemonium for five minutes at Gamestop.

As another option, Gamestop sells original models for $50 used. They're sold out online, but you can do a zip search to see if a local store has one. Here's the link:

http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product_id=909069

I strongly recommend an original model since it has stereo sound (a must for MP3s) and a USB interface. The QD fixed some design flaws (no more side-talkin' or disassembling the unit to change games) but it stripped off features I personally consider essential. Since I use my N-Gage for MP3s as much as anything, I wouldn't touch a QD if you paid me.

I agree with Grave. Nokia isn't abandoning the N-Gage anytime soon. They've pledged support through 2006 and continue to announce new titles. And there some big games scheduled to ship in June (WWE Aftershock, Glimmerati, Xanadu Next, etc.).

And honestly, if the rumors of N-Gage 2 using Dreamcast-on-a-chip technology are true, it will be an awesome device.

And yes, Nokia intends to support Sprint's CDMA network in the future.

Grave: that's a nice bundle. Does it include the USB cable? And what's the reserve price, if you don't mind me asking?

These are all valid B&M, too. I had them check the prices on a couple more games to see if they had dropped too like KOF and Splinter Cell, but those two were full-price.

It doesn't include the USB cable, but it does have a USB MMC reader, so you can do everything you can with the USB cable with the reader.

The reserve price is $70.

I forgot to mention that the bundle also comes with the Smartmovie software, which costs about $30, but it's really badass.

$5 games seem to be sold out now. Still lists some of them on the N-Gage main page, but click on a title and it's "no longer available."

Same here. I got a bunch of $2 ones too (about 6), but I didn't know anything about them till I saw one marked at a store, then started trying a bunch of them, never knew it was posted here. I've wanted pocket kingdom since it was "coming soon", now I can get it. Now just to wait till I cant get an n-gage for like 30 bucks.

Holy shit really? Now I finally am gonna get some N-Gage deals!

Thanks OP. Got all the games except FIFA 2005.
EB sent me FIFA 2005 when I ordered FIFA 2004 a few months ago.

I purchased the games in-store so I can confirm the prices are (were?) valid at B&M stores.

I picked up all of the $5 games today. I bought the n-gage because it has a lot of games suited for adults instead of the kiddie games that are made for the GBA, also the n-gage has almost the same power of the DS for only $99.

They are pretty close. I asked my dad to look at what this EB had (he drives right by them on his way home from work). I hope they have them all :D

EDIT: Got them all.

Sorry to post again but if anyone wants to trade me one of the 2.99 ones they got (sealed) I'd be happy to trade.

I went yesterday in store and they had all of them for 4.99. I picked up call of duty and colin mcrae. Call of duty is not good but colin mcrae is awesome.

All are back...Ill order them online and try and find some instore...worse comes to worse I will re-sell the extra ones here.
