The Wild Bunch

It certainly can lay claim to being one of the best westerns ever. Bloody wonderful (pun fully intended ;))

Devil's Rejects (2005)

What can you say.. Rob Zombie... great job...

and on the complete other side of the genre spectrum..

Kingdom of Heaven (2005)

not a bad epic movie... not Braveheart of course but ..good movie..
intense battle scenes reminisent of The Alamo (2004)

Bewitched

Vampire Assasain

First was kinda good, I didn't expect much so whatever. Second was so bad I had to turn it off. I know it had a low production cost, but it was the whole thing, no one in that could act; they tried combining Blade and Karate Kid with around a $2000 cost.

Theatres - Cheaper by the Dozen 2 - Not as good as the 1st 5/10
DVD - Red Eye - Enjoyable thriller, but somewhat predictable 7.5/10
Season - Rescue Me S1 Great show, wish it had a few more episodes (same with The Shield) 9/10

Next up -
Theatres - Hostel or Underworld 2 (depending on whether or not either comes to my crap theatre)
DVDs - Transporter 1/2 (to get "caught up"; as I forgot most of 1 since the last time I saw it)
Season - 24 S2 or Lost S1

Moment to Remember

Sympathy for Lady Vengeance....the art style or cinematography for this film was just amazing. Too bad I can't really say the same thing about the plot.
Constantine - avoid. Lame. I was hyped because all my friends said it was awesome.. it sucked hardcore.
I thought it was a movie which was decent, with a lot of potential, but something got lost in the translation. And those are the movies which are the most dissapointing ones, elements of greatness with too much suck which gums up the works.
Memoirs of a Geisha. I have a girlfriend. Nuff Said.
heh, as a preemptive, I'm going to see that same movie, for the same reason, on monday. How was it btw?

Young Frankenstein, Serenity, and Scarface.

I bought Serentiy, it's back up there with my favourite Sci-Fi movies evar (Is The Island out yet?), just re-wtched Scarface and Young Frankenstein. Such a quotable movie. :D

The Graduate

A fantastic film, it hits such perfect notes of humor, isolation, melancholy, and doubt. Just like Mulholland Dr., my second viewing leaves me questioning why the hell I didn't love it the first time around.

The Island, assuming you're refering to the one from the Summer, came out just over a month ago, IRC. It came out around Fantastic Four's dvd release.

Yeah, with Scarlett and the obi-wan guy. Sweet, I'll have to look for it.

I finally saw King Kong this weekend. Good, but long, they could have used some better film cutting. But I was entertained.

Finally got around to watching Castle of Cagliostro and I'm glad I did. Great, enjoyable movie starring one of the greatest characters in all of animation.

The Wrong Man

A very fine Hitchcock, very fine, it's an interestingly different, yet familiarly similar, entry in his film canon.

Saw Wold Creek in theaters last...sucks ass. Took too long to get to a half hour or so of action. Watched Wedding Crashers and Land of the Dead last night on DVD. Wedding Crashers is amazing for those who havent heard (those people still exist?) and Land O'teh Dead was ok. Good action, plot blew cock. Blood and gore was really fake looking though.
Super Troopers - I forgot how much I enjoy that movie
Serenity - really liked it.
Stayed home sick today and pulled this one out, funny ass movie. Also watched Mr and Mrs Smith, other than Angelina this movie was just meh.

Saw Memoirs of a Geisha yesterday. For girls, it's an amazing story of a girls life who got thrown out of her family, filled with wonder, despair and love, it's a story that is very faithful to the book. For guys, there's a hot asian chick in it.

Also saw Fever Pitch out of the corner of my eye and kinda liked it. It had enough humor to keep me interested but didn't try too hard.

And right now I'm watching Robots.

Bulworth

A great, totally hilarious satire, it's wonderfully confrontational to political bullshit, and is really quite poignant with its satire. And the soundtrack is simply awesome.
